7 (seven) is the natural number following 6 and preceding 8. It is the only prime number preceding a cube.

As an early prime number in the series of positive integers, the number seven has greatly symbolic associations in religion, mythology, superstition and philosophy. The seven Classical planets resulted in seven being the number of days in a week. 7 is often considered lucky in Western culture and is often seen as highly symbolic. Unlike Western culture, in Vietnamese culture, the number seven is sometimes considered unlucky.

A bay is a recessed, coastal body of water that directly connects to a larger main body of water, such as an ocean, a lake, or another bay. A large bay is usually called a gulf, sea, sound, or bight. A cove is a small, circular bay with a narrow entrance. A fjord is an elongated bay formed by glacial action. The term embayment is also used for related features, such as extinct bays or freshwater environments.

A bay can be the estuary of a river, such as the Chesapeake Bay, an estuary of the Susquehanna River. Bays may also be nested within each other; for example, James Bay is an arm of Hudson Bay in northeastern Canada. Some large bays, such as the Bay of Bengal and Hudson Bay, have varied marine geology.

The land surrounding a bay often reduces the strength of winds and blocks waves. Bays may have as wide a variety of shoreline characteristics as other shorelines. In some cases, bays have beaches, which "are usually characterized by a steep upper foreshore with a broad, flat fronting terrace". Bays were significant in the history of human settlement because they provided easy access to marine resources like fisheries. Later they were important in the development of sea trade as the safe anchorage they provide encouraged their selection as ports.

Finish may refer to:

  • Finishing (whisky), in the distillation of Scotch
  • The aftertaste of an alcoholic beverage, particularly for:
    • whisky
    • wine
  • Finished good, a good that is completed as to manufacturing but not yet sold or distributed to the end-user
  • Surface finishing, various industrial processes for modifying a workpiece's surface
    • Mechanical finish, processes that modify a surface using mechanical means
  • Wood finishing, the process of embellishing and/or protecting the surface of wooden objects

Glenridge may refer to:

  • Glenridge, a community in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada
  • Glenridge Middle School, a public middle school in Orlando, Florida, United States

A metal (from Ancient Greek μέταλλον (métallon) 'mine, quarry, metal') is a material that, when freshly prepared, polished, or fractured, shows a lustrous appearance, and conducts electricity and heat relatively well. Metals are typically ductile (can be drawn into wires) and malleable (they can be hammered into thin sheets). These properties are the result of the metallic bond between the atoms or molecules of the metal.

A metal may be a chemical element such as iron; an alloy such as stainless steel; or a molecular compound such as polymeric sulfur nitride.

In physics, a metal is generally regarded as any substance capable of conducting electricity at a temperature of absolute zero. Many elements and compounds that are not normally classified as metals become metallic under high pressures. For example, the nonmetal iodine gradually becomes a metal at a pressure of between 40 and 170 thousand times atmospheric pressure. Equally, some materials regarded as metals can become nonmetals. Sodium, for example, becomes a nonmetal at pressure of just under two million times atmospheric pressure, though at even higher pressures it is expected to become a metal again.

In chemistry, two elements that would otherwise qualify (in physics) as brittle metals—arsenic and antimony—are commonly instead recognised as metalloids due to their chemistry (predominantly non-metallic for arsenic, and balanced between metallicity and nonmetallicity for antimony). Around 95 of the 118 elements in the periodic table are metals (or are likely to be such). The number is inexact as the boundaries between metals, nonmetals, and metalloids fluctuate slightly due to a lack of universally accepted definitions of the categories involved.

In astrophysics the term "metal" is cast more widely to refer to all chemical elements in a star that are heavier than helium, and not just traditional metals. In this sense the first four "metals" collecting in stellar cores through nucleosynthesis are carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and neon, all of which are strictly non-metals in chemistry. A star fuses lighter atoms, mostly hydrogen and helium, into heavier atoms over its lifetime. Used in that sense, the metallicity of an astronomical object is the proportion of its matter made up of the heavier chemical elements.

Metals, as chemical elements, comprise 25% of the Earth's crust and are present in many aspects of modern life. The strength and resilience of some metals has led to their frequent use in, for example, high-rise building and bridge construction, as well as most vehicles, many home appliances, tools, pipes, and railroad tracks. Precious metals were historically used as coinage, but in the modern era, coinage metals have extended to at least 23 of the chemical elements.

The history of refined metals is thought to begin with the use of copper about 11,000 years ago. Gold, silver, iron (as meteoric iron), lead, and brass were likewise in use before the first known appearance of bronze in the fifth millennium BCE. Subsequent developments include the production of early forms of steel; the discovery of sodium—the first light metal—in 1809; the rise of modern alloy steels; and, since the end of World War II, the development of more sophisticated alloys.

Outdoor(s) may refer to:

  • Wilderness
  • Natural environment
  • Outdoor cooking
  • Outdoor education
  • Outdoor equipment
  • Outdoor fitness
  • Outdoor literature
  • Outdoor recreation
  • Outdoor Channel, an American pay television channel focused on the outdoors

Piece or Pieces (not to be confused with peace) may refer to:

Putty is a material with high plasticity, similar in texture to clay or dough, typically used in domestic construction and repair as a sealant or filler. Although some types of putty (typically those using linseed oil) slowly polymerise and become stiff, many putties can be reworked indefinitely, in contrast to other types of filler which typically set solid relatively rapidly.

  • With, a preposition in English
  • Carl Johannes With (1877–1923), Danish doctor and arachnologist
  • With (character), a character in D. N. Angel
  • With (novel), a novel by Donald Harrington

Wood is a structural tissue found in the stems and roots of trees and other woody plants. It is an organic material – a natural composite of cellulose fibers that are strong in tension and embedded in a matrix of lignin that resists compression. Wood is sometimes defined as only the secondary xylem in the stems of trees, or more broadly to include the same type of tissue elsewhere, such as in the roots of trees or shrubs. In a living tree it performs a support function, enabling woody plants to grow large or to stand up by themselves. It also conveys water and nutrients between the leaves, other growing tissues, and the roots. Wood may also refer to other plant materials with comparable properties, and to material engineered from wood, woodchips, or fiber.

Wood has been used for thousands of years for fuel, as a construction material, for making tools and weapons, furniture and paper. More recently it emerged as a feedstock for the production of purified cellulose and its derivatives, such as cellophane and cellulose acetate.

As of 2020, the growing stock of forests worldwide was about 557 billion cubic meters. As an abundant, carbon-neutral renewable resource, woody materials have been of intense interest as a source of renewable energy. In 2008, approximately 3.97 billion cubic meters of wood were harvested. Dominant uses were for furniture and building construction.

Wood is scientifically studied and researched through the discipline of wood science, which was initiated since the beginning of the 20th century.

We love our new patio set! The table is gorgeous–black and wood-look, the table is all powder-coated steel, and the wood slats have a textured grain in them. It looks fantastic! Adjusters on the bottom of each leg are perfect for flagstone patios. It has an umbrella hole, too. The chairs have the same black frame with pretty aloe slings–no pads necessary, no pads blowing around the yard. We’ve eaten dinner outside the last two weeks at this table, and we’re delighted with it! The table wipes down easily, the slatted design allows water to shed off almost immediately, and the raised perimeter frame (black) keeps dishes from sliding off the table. This is a great patio set. I appreciate that the chairs go under the table to get out of the way when we’re not sitting at it. The kids appreciate how stable the chairs are when they climb up into them. My wife appreciates that the table looks like actual furniture, and she now works outside on her laptop sitting at the table some days.

We have been squeezing around an old round table meant for four people and I decided we needed more space. This table has plenty of room for all six of us to sit around it and space on top for six settings with serving bowls and plates. The table assembly was quick and easy, 4 screws per leg and done. The chairs took a bit longer but they are well worth it. I have wanted chairs with a bit of bounce in them since I like to rock a bit when hanging out around the table. They are also quite comfortable with a nice high back. The chairs are stable with out sag if you just want to sit there and my 8 year old was a bit disappointed that he didn’t weigh enough to get much movement out of the chairs.

Count us in with those ecstatic over this set! It is sturdy, beautiful to look at. Relatively easy to put together – a 4/5 for that due to it just being difficult to get the holes to line up with slippery round pieces but I did do it myself. Getting the screws out of the packaging was the hardest part. We did have delivery issues with a first set that arrived with the box well ripped apart but Home Depot helped us with getting that picked up for a return and getting a new one ordered.

Table and chairs are of great quality and their assembly was pretty straightforward and easy. Delivery of items was unacceptable: A box with the 6 chairs items at 180 lbs and a box with the table items at 70 lbs were dropped off close to my driveway gate on the outside at 7am on a Saturday without prior notification to me a few minutes earlier…How was I supposed to carry 250 lbs about 500 ft down to my patio? Delivery team should have called me a few minutes earlier to notify me so that I could offer to coordinate the drop off right at my patio through the driveway, very easy access.

This is by far one of the best outdoor dining sets we have used. Everything about this Hampton Bay Glenridge Falls outdoor table/chair set shouts quality. The two boxes arrived in perfect condition but be prepared to move a heavy box (one box was 161 pounds). Everything needed to assemble the set is included, even the allen wrenches used to install the bolts. The instructions were included and easy to follow. There’s an app for this project called Bilt, and it has 3D visuals and aids in case you want to follow directions via voice or video. The rocking sling chairs are very comfortable to sit in and don’t need a cushion to make them softer. The wood finish table itself is sturdy and has leveling tabs on each leg to level it. The aloe color looks good at our pool. Looking forward to many lunches and dinners by the pool at this table.

Our current outdoor dining room set is 20 years old and it is time to replace it. We found the Hampton Bay Glenridge Falls outdoor dining set was a good choice to meet our needs and gave the patio a modern clean look. There are 7-pieces total: 6 chairs and a rectangular metal table with faux wood finish. The chairs are rocking, padded, sling style chairs in an Aloe color (dusty blue). The metal table legs and chair supports are dark brown finish. The installation of the table was easy, you just screw on the four legs with the 16 bolts provided. Each chair takes 14 bolts, so I opted to use my cordless screw gun. I used the table’s cardboard box top to lay on the floor for installing the table legs and the putting the chairs together. The instructions were very well diagrammed and detailed. The trick for the chairs is to follow the directions and NOT tighten up the 14 chair bolts until all were hand tightened into the chair and chair placed on the floor. I could then use the screw gun to quickly tightened up the bolts securely. I opted to set-up only four of the chairs for now as that is what we need for entertaining.
