Clinique Laboratories, LLC () is an American manufacturer of skincare, cosmetics, toiletries and fragrances, usually sold in high-end department stores. It is a subsidiary of the Estée Lauder Companies. As of 2019, Clinique has over 22,000 customer consultants worldwide.
A gel is a semi-solid that can have properties ranging from soft and weak to hard and tough. Gels are defined as a substantially dilute cross-linked system, which exhibits no flow when in the steady state, although the liquid phase may still diffuse through this system.
Gels are mostly liquid by mass, yet they behave like solids because of a three-dimensional cross-linked network within the liquid. It is the cross-linking within the fluid that gives a gel its structure (hardness) and contributes to the adhesive stick (tack). In this way, gels are a dispersion of molecules of a liquid within a solid medium. The word gel was coined by 19th-century Scottish chemist Thomas Graham by clipping from gelatine.
The process of forming a gel is called gelation.
Jumbo (December 25, 1860 – September 15, 1885), also known as Jumbo the Elephant and Jumbo the Circus Elephant, was a 19th-century male African bush elephant born in Sudan. Jumbo was exported to Jardin des Plantes, a zoo in Paris, and then transferred in 1865 to London Zoo in England. Despite public protest, Jumbo was sold to P. T. Barnum, who took him to the United States for exhibition in March 1882.
The elephant's name spawned the common word "jumbo", meaning large in size. Examples of his lexical impact are phrases like "jumbo jet", "jumbo shrimp", and "jumbotron". Jumbo's shoulder height has been estimated to have been 3.23 metres (10 ft 7 in) at the time of his death, and was claimed to be about 4 m (13 ft 1 in) by Barnum. "Jumbo" has been the mascot of Tufts University for over one hundred years.

The best facial lotion that I have ever used. I have semi-oily skin and I found that this is the only product that hydrates my skin and keeps it smooth without making it oily. I use it day and night under my makeup and after I wash my face. I used to have acne problems, but this combined with Clinique’s Liquid Face Wash (Mild) and Exfoliating Scrub, has kept my skin clear and beautiful. Not to mention, the 6.7 oz is a bargain when you use it as often as I do. I love it!

I use this moisture lotion on a daily basis so I go through them rather quickly. Nordstrom was the ONLY place I could find online that sells the 6.7 oz size WITH FREE SHIPPING!! Cost is the same as all other Clinique sites, but with the free shipping it comes out less.

When I first got this moisturizer, I thought It was fantastic! Finally my makeup was lasting much longer and no longer sliding off because of my oily skin. The problem is that once it dries, my face feels extremely dull and lifeless. It has a mattifying finish so I get that it would have that effect. Another was that although I am a very oily person, this moisturizer doesn’t seem to moisturize enough. Sometimes after an hour or so i’ll notice dry fuzzy patches on my face. I’ve never tried the regular version of this moisturizer so i’ll probably give it a go as soon as I run out of this one. All in all, not a bad moisturizer at all. Although I don’t think I will be repurchasing this one.

This is a game-changer for oily, sensitive skin. Normal moisturizers make me break out, and I’m allergic to fragrances. Clinique is always fragrance free. A great bargain, too, as I’ve found my bottle lasts me an entire year. Plus, Clinique often offers fabulous free gifts with their purchase. I’ll never go back to drugstore brands again!

Goes on very nice. You can put your foundation on immediately after applying it.
