Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The term blue generally describes colours perceived by humans observing light with a dominant wavelength that's between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. Most blues contain a slight mixture of other colours; azure contains some green, while ultramarine contains some violet. The clear daytime sky and the deep sea appear blue because of an optical effect known as Rayleigh scattering. An optical effect called the Tyndall effect explains blue eyes. Distant objects appear more blue because of another optical effect called aerial perspective.
Blue has been an important colour in art and decoration since ancient times. The semi-precious stone lapis lazuli was used in ancient Egypt for jewellery and ornament and later, in the Renaissance, to make the pigment ultramarine, the most expensive of all pigments. In the eighth century Chinese artists used cobalt blue to colour fine blue and white porcelain. In the Middle Ages, European artists used it in the windows of cathedrals. Europeans wore clothing coloured with the vegetable dye woad until it was replaced by the finer indigo from America. In the 19th century, synthetic blue dyes and pigments gradually replaced organic dyes and mineral pigments. Dark blue became a common colour for military uniforms and later, in the late 20th century, for business suits. Because blue has commonly been associated with harmony, it was chosen as the colour of the flags of the United Nations and the European Union.
In the United States and Europe, blue is the colour that both men and women are most likely to choose as their favourite, with at least one recent survey showing the same across several other countries, including China, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Past surveys in the US and Europe have found that blue is the colour most commonly associated with harmony, confidence, masculinity, knowledge, intelligence, calmness, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sadness.

A treadmill is a device generally used for walking, running, or climbing while staying in the same place. Treadmills were introduced before the development of powered machines to harness the power of animals or humans to do work, often a type of mill operated by a person or animal treading the steps of a treadwheel to grind grain. In later times, treadmills were used as punishment devices for people sentenced to hard labour in prisons. The terms treadmill and treadwheel were used interchangeably for the power and punishment mechanisms.
More recently, treadmills have instead been used as exercise machines for running or walking in one place. Rather than the user powering a mill, the device provides a moving platform with a wide conveyor belt driven by an electric motor or a flywheel. The belt moves to the rear, requiring the user to walk or run at a speed matching the belt. The rate at which the belt moves is the rate of walking or running. Thus, the speed of running may be controlled and measured. The more expensive, heavy-duty versions are motor-driven (usually by an electric motor). The simpler, lighter, and less expensive versions passively resist the motion, moving only when walkers push the belt with their feet. The latter are known as manual treadmills.
Treadmills continue to be the biggest-selling exercise equipment category by a large margin. As a result, the treadmill industry has hundreds of manufacturers throughout the world.

Nice product. Very quiet to use, and built in workouts are helpful to do more than simple walking.

I’ve had this for close to a year now…got it around the time of the coronavirus closures. I’ve maxed at 240+ lbs and run regularly. Handling my weighy you can imagine this treadmill is pretty heavy duty-emphasis on the heavy. Not a prob for me but maybe for smaller people. In a year of running, no problems so far. Two things I hate: One, there isn’t a 0 incline. 1 is the lowest. Weird, I know. Second, it has really, really slow ramp up and ramp down. That makes it super difficult to do HIIT workouts. Two minor issue: I wish the fan had led level indicators like the speakers do. Also, I do beleive the spaekers could be louder. Plenty of storage space. Overall, it’s a really good treadmill and it can certainly support the heavier individual

I love this treadmill! I use it to jog/run most mornings and it works great. I love the fact that the display is simple and not a big fancy.
Screen. I feel like I got a higher quality machine I stead of just paying for a fancy display. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it only displays distance to one decimal (so 1.1 miles rather than 1.15) so sometimes it feels like I’m not getting anywhere.

Bought this like $600 off price tag , was on sale . Great great purchase ! It took 2 wks b4 it could be delivered and assembled , thats ok i mean with everything going on around us . The entire family loves it , its very helpful specially for my husband . The console is easy to operate , its so quite , all the functions work well as expected . We watched while it was being assembled , it only took them <30 mins to get everything together . We keep it on , meaning we do not turn the switch OFF every after using , because when we did so before , we lost power in the part of the garage where its at , so we had to turn back on the power switch in the breaker box , we don't know why , but maybe it pulls a lot of power everytime it needs to reset ? so we just leave it on every after use , and the console screen turns off automatically by itself when it is left alone .

I’d wanted a treadmill for a long time but it was the pandemic that finally pushed me toward purchasing one. I’m very satisfied with this treadmill. It does what it’s supposed to do and is getting a lot of action from my teen & I.

This treadmill is quiet and offers challenging workouts!

Very good treadmill for the price! Great for a person wanting to walk or jog. Not for the avid runner as it only goes up to 12 mph.

Bought this a few weeks ago. It was not difficult to put together and operates as expected. We don’t really run on the treadmill, but do walk at a decent clip for over an hour every day. Glad Dick’s had this one so we could make the purchase!
