2021 additionally witnessed the rise of non-fungible tokens as a part of the global economy and numerous advancements in space exploration, particularly by the United Arab Emirates, NASA and SpaceX, including the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope. Civil unrest grew in 2021, with coups occurring in Sudan, Myanmar, Mali and Guinea, and insurrections occurring in Armenia and the United States.

Samsung Group (Korean: 삼성; Hanja: 三星; RR: samseong [samsʌŋ]; stylized as SΛMSUNG) is a South Korean multinational manufacturing conglomerate headquartered in Samsung Digital City, Suwon, South Korea. It comprises numerous affiliated businesses, most of them united under the Samsung brand, and is the largest South Korean chaebol (business conglomerate). As of 2020, Samsung has the world's eighth-highest brand value.

Samsung was founded by Lee Byung-chul in 1938 as a trading company. Over the next three decades, the group diversified into areas including food processing, textiles, insurance, securities, and retail. Samsung entered the electronics industry in the late 1960s and the construction and shipbuilding industries in the mid-1970s; these areas would drive its subsequent growth. Following Lee's death in 1987, Samsung was separated into five business groups – Samsung Group, Shinsegae Group, CJ Group and Hansol Group, and JoongAng Group.

Notable Samsung industrial affiliates include Samsung Electronics (the world's largest information technology company, consumer electronics maker and chipmaker measured by 2017 revenues), Samsung Heavy Industries (the world's second largest shipbuilder measured by 2010 revenues), and Samsung Engineering and Samsung C&T Corporation (respectively the world's 13th and 36th largest construction companies). Other notable subsidiaries include Samsung Life Insurance (the world's 14th largest life insurance company), Samsung Everland (operator of Everland Resort, the oldest theme park in South Korea) and Cheil Worldwide (the world's 15th largest advertising agency, as measured by 2012 revenues).

this tv looks amazing, and does a great job in bright or dark rooms. upscaling is great, so 4k/1080p video content look great, though you do see artifacts with 720p/480p video. 4k/120 gaming is great too. blacks are truly black, hdr brights will make you squint.

    the only downsides:
    – expensive
    – built-in streaming clients don’t support 8k content. this is particularly annoying since youtube is one of the few places to get 8k content currently, and i had to use my gaming pc to view it.
    – hdmi-earc audio isn’t perfect. i don’t know whether the tv or the denon receiver is doing it wrong but just often enough to be annoying the surround sound stops going to the receiver and i have to fiddle with settings to get it back.

The TV is able to be so thin and flat because the components, hookups, and power are all external in the One Connect which attaches with a single very thin wire. It’s an engineering marvel and quite an accomplishment to send all the signals and power through a wire that is not even a 1/4″ in circumference! This feature alone makes the TV worth purchasing as it allows the Samsung QN800A to hang on a wall and all your devices can be in a cabinet with just a single wire to the TV.

Once you turn on the TV you will notice the picture quality and brightness, everything is sharp and vibrant and what you would expect from 8K.

The TV remote is small and simple to use with an interface that is intuitive. I really liked the Samsung TV Plus which provides a bunch of live TV channels and is the answer for the cord-cutters out there. It even comes with a Guide so you can pick and choose what you want to watch easily. The Multiview feature is really interesting. Also with the Smart Things integration, all my other Samsung devices like the Powerbot vacuum and washer and dryer show up and are available, it is the hub for a truly smart home!

Samsung has done an amazing job and at the top of their game. This is the best TV I’ve ever experienced and the features technology, and style just can’t be beaten.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the TV. It not only checks all the boxes of me as a cutting edge gamer, but also covers the bases of ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for my wife. Samsung really thought about the future when putting out this TV. Externally, this thing is simply a beauty with it’s bezel-less design, sleek and thin form factor, and even the eco-friendly steps such as the usb-C AND solar charging remote. This TV is truly a luxury, and is one of the best home theater experiences that is hard to beat or replicated. For those on the fence, trust me when I say it’s worth jumping over. The grass is definitely greener, bright, AND clearer on the other side.

Qled line never fails to amaze me. One thing that I wish it could improve is the performance on black levels. It’s not anything to scoff at but next to an OLED I could always see the difference, but not in this.. it’s on another level.. when it shines even in the brightly lit room.
