CA most often refers to:

  • Canada, a country by ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code
  • California, U.S. state by postal abbreviation

CA or ca may also refer to:

Full may refer to:

  • People with the surname Full, including:
    • Mr. Full (given name unknown), acting Governor of German Cameroon, 1913 to 1914
  • A property in the mathematical field of topology; see Full set
  • A property of functors in the mathematical field of category theory; see Full and faithful functors
  • Satiety, the absence of hunger
  • A standard bed size, see Bed
  • Fulling, also known as tucking or walking ("waulking" in Scotland), term for a step in woollen clothmaking (verb: to full)

King is the title given to a male monarch in a variety of contexts. A king is an absolute monarch if he holds the powers of government without control, or the entire sovereignty over a nation; he is a limited monarch if his power is restrained by fixed laws; and he is an absolute, when he holds the whole legislative, judicial, and executive power, or when the legislative or judicial powers, or both, are vested in other people by the king. Kings are hereditary sovereigns when they hold the powers of government by right of birth or inheritance, and elective when raised to the throne by choice.

  • In the context of prehistory, antiquity and contemporary indigenous peoples, the title may refer to tribal kingship. Germanic kingship is cognate with Indo-European traditions of tribal rulership (c.f. Indic rājan, Gothic reiks, and Old Irish , etc.).
  • In the context of classical antiquity, king may translate in Latin as rex and in Greek as archon or basileus.
  • In classical European feudalism, the title of king as the ruler of a kingdom is understood to be the highest rank in the feudal order, potentially subject, at least nominally, only to an emperor (harking back to the client kings of the Roman Republic and Roman Empire).
  • In a modern context, the title may refer to the ruler of one of a number of modern monarchies (either absolute or constitutional). The title of king is used alongside other titles for monarchs: in the West, emperor, grand prince, prince, archduke, duke or grand duke, and in the Islamic world, malik, sultan, emir or hakim, etc.
  • The city-states of the Aztec Empire each had a tlatoani. These were the kings of pre-Hispanic Mesoamerica. The Huey Tlatoani was the emperor of the Aztecs.

The term king may also refer to a king consort, a title that is sometimes given to the husband of a queen regnant, but the title of prince consort is more common.

Queen most commonly refers to:

  • Queen regnant, a female monarch of a kingdom
  • Queen consort, the wife of a reigning king
  • Queen (band), a British rock band

Queen or QUEEN may also refer to:

Twins are two offspring produced by the same pregnancy. Twins can be either monozygotic ('identical'), meaning that they develop from one zygote, which splits and forms two embryos, or dizygotic ('non-identical' or 'fraternal'), meaning that each twin develops from a separate egg and each egg is fertilized by its own sperm cell. Since identical twins develop from one zygote, they will share the same sex, while fraternal twins may or may not. In very rare cases fraternal (and semi- or half-identical) twins can have the same mother and different fathers (heteropaternal superfecundation).

In contrast, a fetus that develops alone in the womb (the much more common case in humans) is called a singleton, and the general term for one offspring of a multiple birth is a multiple. Unrelated look-alikes whose resemblance parallels that of twins are referred to as doppelgänger.

My husband and I were involved in a major car accident that left both of us with severe injuries, including a broken neck for me. After spending 3 months in a cervical collar and not being able to lie flat, I suffered from many issues that made sleeping comfortably next to impossible. Once I was able to lie flat, I also suffered from positional vertigo. All of my pressure points hurt and I woke up day after day feeling as if I hadn’t slept a wink. We finally decided it was time for a new mattress. We went to the mattress store with a Tempurpedic in mind but decided to lie on the machine to see which mattresses were compatible for us based on our body type and sleep positions. Thankfully the mattress we had in mind was on both of our lists of compatible mattresses. When we tested the Tempurpedic, it felt amazing! We decided to get the split adjustable bases. It makes reading in bed at night so comfortable. We now both sleep incredibly. An added bonus is the elevated mattress has almost completely eliminated my husband’s snoring making it easier for me to fall asleep at night! I highly recommend this mattress. It has been well worth the investment.

I love the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft! Almost purchased the medium, but am so glad I chose the “soft”. I still get the support I need, but there’s lots of cushion so my back wakes up feeling great and not stiff and I don’t walk around for 20 minutes like I need a body cast. Purchased the adjustable base also – we elevate it just a couple of inches and now I don’t hear the snoring machine next to me!!! Well worth every penny. Thank you Tempur-Pedic.

I was impressed with the comfort of this mattress at the store and I’m extremely happy with the comfort and support after sleeping on it for the past month.

Very comfortable. It is thicker than our old TempurPedic and we are having problems getting our old cotton sheets to fit. Time to buy some new sheets that have not shrunk.

It was a rough first two days on the mattress. It felt like a brick. BUT after those first two days, it molded with my body and I now sleep sooooo well! The pillows are great too. This is my second tempurpedic mattress and pillows and I can say that they have made some serious improvements to these new products. My body doesn’t get so hot on it anymore either with their new pro-adapt technology. The pillows are definitely cooler and lighter. Love it! I’m very very happy with the purchase.
