I took a chance and bought a 32″ TCL Roku from Walmart a few years ago for $118.00. It has been used almost everyday since then without any problems. So when I saw the BF deal for this 55″ 4K version I decided it was time to upgrade. As an added bonus the four HDMI inputs means I can now connect my laptop to the TV. The five star rating is because it arrived the next day (via Door Dash!) in perfect condition. Setup was easy. The picture and sound are good. So far I only have about four hours of run time on it but based on past experience with this brand I don’t expect any problems. Two things to be aware of are: 1. If you use the old RCA style input for a VCR or DVD player you will need to buy an adapter. I found one for $4.95. Search for “Video AV Component Adapter Cable Replacement for TCL TV, 3 RCA to 3.5mm AV Input Adapter” It MUST be designed for the TCL interface or it won’t work. 2. If you don’t want the TV tracking the shows you watch, go to settings and change several privacy and ad settings from the default.

Great tv for a great price. We bought a 75 inch TCL and love it so we thought we would get the 55 inch for the extra bedrooms and they work great. Clear picture and great sound.

I got the same message others here complained about (no availability), but in my case it just wasn’t available for shipping. After about five minutes and changing to store pickup, the order went through just fine. [There was no trickery involved, just needed patience and common sense.] Happy customer here!!!

saw the ad for this a couple weeks ago at $300 but i already have an onn 43″ 4k roku tv i got last year for $178. then this week saw this tv for $228 but would be available for purchase on fri @5am. somehow I was able to make the purchase on Thursday at 12:30pm from the app and said it would be delivered on Friday to my house but on the listing it said store pickup available only so was a bit confused about that. Friday morning came and received a random knock on my door from a nice older couple delivering my 55″ tv in the back of their van so i had no idea Walmart gave delvery jobs to locals at all. would have been nice to know that was a thing instead of expecting a ups or fedex truck because there was no tracking number given. however the new tv works great just like my onn 43″ 4k tv i had for over a year now and glad i was able to get this deal.
