Black is a color that results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without hue, like white and grey. It is often used symbolically or figuratively to represent darkness. Black and white have often been used to describe opposites such as good and evil, the Dark Ages versus Age of Enlightenment, and night versus day. Since the Middle Ages, black has been the symbolic color of solemnity and authority, and for this reason it is still commonly worn by judges and magistrates.
Black was one of the first colors used by artists in Neolithic cave paintings. It was used in ancient Egypt and Greece as the color of the underworld. In the Roman Empire, it became the color of mourning, and over the centuries it was frequently associated with death, evil, witches, and magic. In the 14th century, it was worn by royalty, clergy, judges, and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets, businessmen and statesmen in the 19th century, and a high fashion color in the 20th century. According to surveys in Europe and North America, it is the color most commonly associated with mourning, the end, secrets, magic, force, violence, fear, evil, and elegance.
Black is the most common ink color used for printing books, newspapers and documents, as it provides the highest contrast with white paper and thus is the easiest color to read. Similarly, black text on a white screen is the most common format used on computer screens. As of September 2019, the darkest material is made by MIT engineers from vertically aligned carbon nanotubes.
Prism usually refers to:
- Prism (optics), a transparent optical component with flat surfaces that refract light
- Prism (geometry), a kind of polyhedron
Prism may also refer to:
A smartphone, often simply called a phone, is a mobile device that combines the functionality of a traditional mobile phone with advanced computing capabilities. It typically has a touchscreen interface, allowing users to access a wide range of applications and services, such as web browsing, email, and social media, as well as multimedia playback and streaming. Smartphones have built-in cameras, GPS navigation, and support for various communication methods, including voice calls, text messaging, and internet-based messaging apps.
Smartphones are distinguished from older-design feature phones by their more advanced hardware capabilities and extensive mobile operating systems, access to the internet, business applications, mobile payments, and multimedia functionality, including music, video, gaming, radio, and television.
Smartphones typically contain a number of metal–oxide–semiconductor (MOS) integrated circuit (IC) chips, include various sensors that can be leveraged by pre-installed and third-party software (such as a magnetometer, a proximity sensor, a barometer, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, and more), and support diverse wireless communication protocols (such as LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and satellite navigation). In the mid-2020s, smartphone manufacturers have begun to integrate satellite messaging connectivity and satellite emergency services into devices for use in remote regions where there is no reliable cellular network.
Following the rising popularity of the iPhone in the late 2000s, the majority of smartphones have featured thin, slate-like form factors with large, capacitive touch screens with support for multi-touch gestures rather than physical keyboards. Most modern smartphones have the ability for users to download or purchase additional applications from a centralized app store. They often have support for cloud storage and cloud synchronization, and virtual assistants.
Smartphones have largely replaced personal digital assistant (PDA) devices, handheld/palm-sized PCs, portable media players (PMP), point-and-shoot cameras, camcorders, and, to a lesser extent, handheld video game consoles, e-reader devices, pocket calculators, and GPS tracking units.
Since the early 2010s, improved hardware and faster wireless communication (due to standards such as LTE and later 5G NR) have bolstered the growth of the smartphone industry. As of 2014, over a billion smartphones are sold globally every year. In 2019 alone, 1.54 billion smartphone units were shipped worldwide. 75.05 percent of the world population were smartphone users as of 2020.

I got this phone a few weeks to a month a go and I’m really glad I did! The phone was a huge upgrade compared to my last, tha camera quality and features are amazing alone!! I enjoy all the storage and with an added SD card I never have to worry about any storage issues. Not much lag, multitasking is easy with this phone. The screen is big and clear and the sound is good too. I personally love the rainbow back so I went with a clear case. It still has that classic android easy to use function to it… overall just a great phone!

What can I say, the A51 is a great phone, especially for the price. It has most of the bells & whistles the flagship phones have and the 48 mg camera take phenomenal pictures. The only downfall would be that it only has 128g internal memory but again for the price you can’t beat it.

great mid-range phone with a flagship feel. I went from a S8 (due to no storage space left)to this and its no comparison . the sound is good, picture looks good. screen is large, 128 G of storage, battery lasts about forever and has visual voicemail. Awesome screen, awesome camera, long lasting battery life! I use my phone mainly for streaming video, YouTube, retail apps, internet surfing, listening to podcasts and an occasional phone call. this phone has not given me one reason to complain. only negative i have with the phone is that is does not charge wireless. I like that feature and wish this phone had it.

I have this phone and do not dislike anything about the A51. My most favorite thing is the full screen with a small punch hole camera is the nicest phone I have ever owned. Performance is fast on any app I’ve ran, from social media to web browsing and games. The speaker quality making phone calls was crystal clear even long distance numbers were clear, and I did not have to use speaker phone to hear my calls. It only has one loud speaker for audio but videos and music sounded good and loud. Also has a headphone jack which is really nice. This has 4 cameras and takes awesome pictures. What I really like is the many different modes in the cameras settings, pro mode helped me take some real nice pictures, the night mode is awesome as well you do have to hold the phone still taking low light photos but it does real good in low light. I wish I could add more pics to show how good the camera is. I have nothing but excellent service everywhere I go with this using Straight Talks red map network. Never had a dropped call, had signal everywhere I’ve been which I really appreciate because I use google maps to help me drive a lot and feel safe not getting lost. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a good phone that does about anything you can throw at it, takes great pictures.
