It has a real good weight too it making it feel like a real lightsaber. Has 3 different modes and even turns blue too simulate lightning. Also has many sound affects and much more features.

My favorite character, my favorite lightsaber. I’ve always wanted a replica and this is one of the greatest purchases I’ve ever made, especially at the deal I got when I got it. However I would have paid a lot more, I’m just so thankful I was able to pay a lot less. But if you’re a fan of Darth Sidious, or lightsabers, this is one of the greatest purchases there is.

This is now my favorite saber. I wish the blade was removable on my other lightsabers. I like the other new features as well.

I would rate this product from a 4 to 4.5. I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it seem like a solid build. It look nice the box it came i’m look good. I would say its a little heavy especially for smaller kids (6 and under). The lights and sounds are nice. The only thing i didn’t like was the motion sound/light sensors didn’t away engage. Maybe not sensitive enough. And the location of the power switch is in a bad location, were you keep on touching it.

I’ve always thought Palpatine’s lightsaber was neat, and I was so happy that they finally took on the challenge of making an FX version! It has neat functions like blaster deflections sounds and force lightning effects. It might sound stupid, but it’s fun to swing it around wildly in a dark room — it handles very nicely and is a great way to let out some frustrations, but probably would break if you smacked anything (or anyone). One gripe is that the saber is way bigger than the on-screen version. Wish they would’ve made it accurate — I can’t accuse anyone of treason at the dinner table and whip it out of my sleeve before doing a CGI triple backwards front flip at them at 60 miles per hour.
