The drapes were perfect. The shipping however was very slow.

These curtains arrived with lots of wrinkles due to packaging. I have ironed and steamed three times. Some wrinkles have laid down. Other are like scorned women. They ain’t budging. But I’m keeping them cuz I’m a guy and I give up.

The Simply Essential Blackout Curtains work as advertised. We put two 37″x63″ panels, or one set, up for each window that measured 38.5 ” wide and 57.25″ long outside the wooden window trim. They are wrinkled after unpacking, so, in order for them to drape nicely, a little pressing with a steam iron does wonders. I installed them on a blackout curtain rod we also got at BB&B. I measured 6″ above the window trim and 4.5″ outside each side of the trim. That gives full coverage as they hang 7″ below the trim and far enough outside to really be effective at blocking the light. I used a pencil, a measuring tape, a level, a stud finder, a drill, a Phillips head screwdriver, a rubber mallet, and a wall scrubber to remove the marks I made on the wall. Where there was a stud, the 1/8″ drill bit was used with only screws and no plastic insert. Where there was no stud, I used a 9/32″ bit and the plastic insert. I used the rubber mallet to peck in the plastic inserts until they were flush with the wall. The curtains were on sale, so I am pleased.
