SIZE INFO

True to size.

A boot is a type of footwear. Most boots mainly cover the foot and the ankle, while some also cover some part of the lower calf. Some boots extend up the leg, sometimes as far as the knee or even the hip. Most boots have a heel that is clearly distinguishable from the rest of the sole, even if the two are made of one piece. Traditionally made of leather or rubber, modern boots are made from a variety of materials.

Boots are worn both for their functionality and for reasons of style and fashion. Functional concerns include: protection of the foot and leg from water, mud, pestilence (infectious disease, insect bites and stings, snake bites), extreme temperatures, sharp or blunt hazards (e.g. work boots may provide steel toes), physical abrasion, corrosive agents, or damaging radiation; ankle support and traction for strenuous activities such as hiking; and durability in harsh conditions (e.g. the underside of combat boots may be reinforced with hobnails).

In some cases, the wearing of boots may be required by laws or regulations, such as the regulations in some jurisdictions requiring workers on construction sites to wear steel-toed safety boots. Some uniforms include boots as the regulated footwear. Boots are recommended as well for motorcycle riders. High-top athletic shoes are generally not considered boots, even though they do cover the ankle, primarily due to the absence of a distinct heel.

II is the Roman numeral for 2.

II may also refer to:

In humans and other primates, the knee joins the thigh with the leg and consists of two joints: one between the femur and tibia (tibiofemoral joint), and one between the femur and patella (patellofemoral joint). It is the largest joint in the human body. The knee is a modified hinge joint, which permits flexion and extension as well as slight internal and external rotation. The knee is vulnerable to injury and to the development of osteoarthritis.

It is often termed a compound joint having tibiofemoral and patellofemoral components. (The fibular collateral ligament is often considered with tibiofemoral components.)

S, or for lowercase, s, is the nineteenth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and other latin alphabets worldwide. Its name in English is ess (pronounced ), plural esses.

The color is true rust and oh so gorgeous. The suede is so soft and thick. The lining is a hot leopard print. The fit is perfect, totally true to size. Most importantly, the comfort…. It’s out of this world from the second you step into these boots. So great I am actually trying to find them in black right now. I have thin calves and there is no unsightly gapping, for the first time with any quality boot. BUY THESE BOOTS NOW!

Love this boot! My normal size is slightly snug but doable. The insole great and comfy and seem to be breaking in without blisters. The calf is snug (and my calf is slim) but of course a adjustable with the laces. It’s about 1/2″ tighter in calf than most of my other boots. Leather great quality, color rich, hardware solid and good weight, smooth zipping, lining very nice tartan. High quality boots, and I’m glad they will work!

I really liked these boots straight out the box. Can’t wait to wear them. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I don’t think they are tall enough. They don’t actually come all the way to my knee the way I like; however, that was not a deal breaker for me. For reference, I am 5’6″. All in all, beautiful boot — love the tie up detail in the back, that is what really makes this boot stand out.

I do not have “wide” calves. They don’t stand out, they are not super muscular. Yet it’s impossible to find boots that fit. It’s like they refuse to make cute boots with a calf that fits an average size! I thought these would be that boot. For me I would have had to buy a longer shoestring for the back… I just decided to return them and try again.

Love this boots! Perfect for fall, winter and early spring weather. Rich leather and great design with adjustable lace tie ups! Water proof too! Went up a 1/2 size for thicker socks. Normally an 8 1/2 purchased size 9.

Unfortunately not for me. They are adjustable around the calf with the lace up the back…but too hard to do, for me anyway.
