Champagne (; French: [ʃɑ̃paɲ] ) is a sparkling wine originated and produced in the Champagne wine region of France under the rules of the appellation, which demand specific vineyard practices, sourcing of grapes exclusively from designated places within it, specific grape-pressing methods and secondary fermentation of the wine in the bottle to cause carbonation.
The grapes Pinot noir, Pinot meunier, and Chardonnay are used to produce almost all Champagne, but small amounts of Pinot blanc, Pinot gris (called Fromenteau in Champagne), Arbane, and Petit Meslier are vinified as well.
Champagne became associated with royalty in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. The leading manufacturers made efforts to associate their Champagnes with nobility and royalty through advertising and packaging, which led to its popularity among the emerging middle class.
Efficiency is the often measurable ability to avoid making mistakes or wasting materials, energy, efforts, money, and time while performing a task. In a more general sense, it is the ability to do things well, successfully, and without waste.
In more mathematical or scientific terms, it signifies the level of performance that uses the least amount of inputs to achieve the highest amount of output. It often specifically comprises the capability of a specific application of effort to produce a specific outcome with a minimum amount or quantity of waste, expense, or unnecessary effort. Efficiency refers to very different inputs and outputs in different fields and industries. In 2019, the European Commission said: "Resource efficiency means using the Earth's limited resources in a sustainable manner while minimising impacts on the environment. It allows us to create more with less and to deliver greater value with less input."
Writer Deborah Stone notes that efficiency is "not a goal in itself. It is not something we want for its own sake, but rather because it helps us attain more of the things we value."
A machine is a physical system that uses power to apply forces and control movement to perform an action. The term is commonly applied to artificial devices, such as those employing engines or motors, but also to natural biological macromolecules, such as molecular machines. Machines can be driven by animals and people, by natural forces such as wind and water, and by chemical, thermal, or electrical power, and include a system of mechanisms that shape the actuator input to achieve a specific application of output forces and movement. They can also include computers and sensors that monitor performance and plan movement, often called mechanical systems.
Renaissance natural philosophers identified six simple machines which were the elementary devices that put a load into motion, and calculated the ratio of output force to input force, known today as mechanical advantage.
Modern machines are complex systems that consist of structural elements, mechanisms and control components and include interfaces for convenient use. Examples include: a wide range of vehicles, such as trains, automobiles, boats and airplanes; appliances in the home and office, including computers, building air handling and water handling systems; as well as farm machinery, machine tools and factory automation systems and robots.
Samsung Group (Korean: 삼성; Hanja: 三星; RR: samseong [samsʌŋ]; stylised as SΛMSUNG) is a South Korean multinational manufacturing conglomerate headquartered in Samsung Digital City, Suwon, South Korea. It comprises numerous affiliated businesses, most of them united under the Samsung brand, and is the largest South Korean chaebol (business conglomerate). As of 2024, Samsung has the world's fifth-highest brand value.
Samsung was founded by Lee Byung-chul in 1938 as a trading company. Over the next three decades, the group diversified into areas including food processing, textiles, insurance, securities, and retail. Samsung entered the electronics industry in the late 1960s and the construction and shipbuilding industries in the mid-1970s; these areas would drive its subsequent growth. Following Lee's death in 1987, Samsung was separated into five business groups – Samsung Group, Shinsegae Group, CJ Group, Hansol Group, and JoongAng Group.
Samsung industrial affiliates include Samsung Electronics, Samsung Heavy Industries, Samsung Engineering and Samsung C&T Corporation. Other subsidiaries include Samsung Life Insurance and Cheil Worldwide. Notable Samsung industrial affiliates include Samsung Electronics (the world's largest information technology company, consumer electronics maker and chipmaker measured by 2017 revenues), Samsung Heavy Industries (the world's second largest shipbuilder measured by 2010 revenues), and Samsung Engineering and Samsung C&T Corporation (respectively the world's 13th and 36th largest construction companies). Other notable subsidiaries include Samsung Life Insurance (the world's 14th largest life insurance company), Samsung Everland (operator of Everland Resort, the oldest theme park in South Korea) and Cheil Worldwide (the world's 15th largest advertising agency, as measured by 2012 revenues).
In kinematics, the speed (commonly referred to as v) of an object is the magnitude of the change of its position over time or the magnitude of the change of its position per unit of time; it is thus a non-negative scalar quantity. The average speed of an object in an interval of time is the distance travelled by the object divided by the duration of the interval; the instantaneous speed is the limit of the average speed as the duration of the time interval approaches zero. Speed is the magnitude of velocity (a vector), which indicates additionally the direction of motion.
Speed has the dimensions of distance divided by time. The SI unit of speed is the metre per second (m/s), but the most common unit of speed in everyday usage is the kilometre per hour (km/h) or, in the US and the UK, miles per hour (mph). For air and marine travel, the knot is commonly used.
The fastest possible speed at which energy or information can travel, according to special relativity, is the speed of light in vacuum c = 299792458 metres per second (approximately 1079000000 km/h or 671000000 mph). Matter cannot quite reach the speed of light, as this would require an infinite amount of energy. In relativity physics, the concept of rapidity replaces the classical idea of speed.
Steam is water vapour (water in the gas phase), often mixed with air and/or an aerosol of liquid water droplets. This may occur due to evaporation or due to boiling, where heat is applied until water reaches the enthalpy of vaporization. Steam that is saturated or superheated (water vapor) is invisible; however, wet steam, a visible mist or aerosol of water droplets, is often referred to as "steam".: 6
When liquid water becomes steam, it increases in volume by 1,700 times at standard temperature and pressure; this change in volume can be converted into mechanical work by steam engines such as reciprocating piston type engines and steam turbines, which are a sub-group of steam engines. Piston type steam engines played a central role in the Industrial Revolution and modern steam turbines are used to generate more than 80 % of the world's electricity. If liquid water comes in contact with a very hot surface or depressurizes quickly below its vapour pressure, it can create a steam explosion.
Top most commonly refers to:
- Top, a basic term of orientation, distinguished from bottom, front, back, and sides
- Spinning top, a ubiquitous traditional toy
- Top (clothing), clothing designed to be worn over the torso
- Mountain top, a mountain peak located at some distance from the nearest point of higher elevation

Washing is a method of cleaning, usually with water and soap or detergent. Regularly washing and then rinsing both body and clothing is an essential part of good hygiene and health.
Often people use soaps and detergents to assist in the emulsification of oils and dirt particles so they can be washed away. The soap can be applied directly, or with the aid of a washcloth or assisted with sponges or similar cleaning tools.
In social contexts, washing refers to the act of bathing, or washing different parts of the body, such as hands, hair, or faces. Excessive washing may damage the hair, causing dandruff, or cause rough skin/skin lesions. Some washing of the body is done ritually in religions like Christianity and Judiasm, as an act of purification.
Washing can also refer to washing objects. For example, washing of clothing or other cloth items, like bedsheets, or washing dishes or cookwear. Keeping objects clean, especially if they interact with food or the skin, can help with sanitation. Other kinds of washing focus on maintaining cleanliness and durability of objects that get dirty, such washing one's car, by lathering the exterior with car soap, or washing tools used in a dirty process.
With or WITH may refer to:
- With, a preposition in English
- Carl Johannes With (1877–1923), Danish doctor and arachnologist
- With (character), a character in D. N. Angel
- With (novel), a novel by Donald Harrington
- With (album), a 2014 album by TVXQ

I bought this a few months ago and should have bought it a few years ago. My old washer was not cleaning as well as it should have. I know now because my loads of clothes smell so GOOD! The washer is quiet and clothes are spun to perfection. The dryer does not have to run as long to get big loads dry. I have not found anything I would like to change. 10 Stars if I could give 10!

I am very pleased with this washer! Samsung makes quality products. Home depot delivery, and set up was awesome as well.

Huge capacity! What took us three to four loads before, we can condense into one.

In the short time that I have had the product I have been very happy. The unit is easy to use and can hold a lot more than I am used to. The automatic water level feature has been accurate so far. The super steam function is no joke, even the room gets warm when it is engaged.

This washer cleans like no other washer we’ve had. Both our previous machines were GE so we branches out by purchasing this Samsung set and I’m so happy we did!

OK so far. Not magical or anything. Will see how it performs over time. The detergent holder is annoying as it doesn’t pull out far enough to be able to pour from the large container directly in.

I have had this Samsung washer now for a cple weeks. I bought the matching gas dryer too, but lets talk about the washer. I bought it in white, don’t see the sense in spending another $ 150.00 apiece for a color really. Anyways the washer tub is huge and yes you better be tall to reach the bottom . I have used the steam cycle also and it does wonders. This washer has every bell and whistle anyone could possibly need. It is very quiet and I have not seen or heard any vibrations with any load size in it. And the ending tune is a nice change instead of that awful buzzer ! If your looking for a new washer , give this a serious look before buying anything else!

Wow! I just had this new 5.4 cubic feet capacity washer installed last week and am amazed at the performance and ease of operation, not to mention its nice look. I didn’t read the instruction manual as the touch control panel is self explanatory. I can control things like water temperature, soil level, spin cycles, and how many rinse cycles I want. I like the see-through lid and the large capacity tub that allows me to do twice as much in one load as my previous washer. It has a steam cleaning function for stain removal that I have not used yet but I have used and enjoyed the quick wash option that allows me to wash a full load in a little over 30 minutes. Great washer, no regrets!

This is the only washing machine I have ever used in my lifetime (mind you, only 3 decades under my belt) that manages to wash your clothes completely and efficiently, without completely ruining them. So it doesn’t have an agitator, so my clothes don’t get ripped up, and the drum just fills with the correct amount of water needed based on the weight of the clothing inside. It takes anywhere from 10 seconds – 30 seconds for mine to finish measuring before the cycle starts. I have been using the same bottle of detergent (gallon of Tide Sensitive HE) since November 18th, and I am only halfway through it. To put things in perspective, my old washer didn’t seem to wash clothes very well and it took a full bottle cap of the detergent (as recommended on the bottles) for a full load of laundry to seem clean. I have been doing laundry about every other day – including a ton of washing from having just moved (lots of sheets, new sheets, towels, blankets, etc). *This* washing machine requires about 1/8 cup – 1/6 cup of detergent for a full load…. And your clothes come out smelling super clean and soft. I have not stop talking about how good my clothes smell now. Of course, it’s also nice to save a ton of money on detergent. I cannot speak for my water bill yet, but I can say that it’s very obvious it uses less water. You can watch the load through the glass door and it very clearly only uses as much water as necessary for cleanliness. This washing machine has many different functions, but I have found that it’s gentle enough to put on a normal cycle (with cool water) for most of my typical delicates – work clothes, nice sheets, etc. I only put things like bras on the delicate cycle now… yes you can wash bras in this without piling or the straps getting all twisted and weak. Paired with the matching dryer, I love washing clothes. See the Samsung matching dryer for my full review on that as well.

We have been using this new washing machine for a few weeks now. The champagne color is eye-catching and elegant. It has all the features and settings you need for all of your laundry needs including the steam function which is the best at getting whites super clean. Another favorite feature is the push-button under the lid to add more water as desired. No more filling a separate container to add more water! It completes loads slower than our previous Maytag Bravos unit but just as well. The water draining function is not as forceful as most other units which causes less splashing in the wash tub. The clear lid and top part of the unit is of good quality plastic which will never rust. Hopefully the tub bearings last more than five years as time will tell.
