I am surprised at how heavy the kayaks are for inflatable products. I bought three of them for Christmas for me and my two sons. We have only tried one in the swimming pool and they do seem sturdy, but it will take time to learn to balance and not fall over the side. We are waiting for warmer weather to take them out to a lake.

Setting up ROVER AERO with motor to enjoy a slow roll excited!

Really love this thing. I added a 5hp outboard motor and really enjoy taking it out to the lake for fishing. It takes some thought, but I can transport and set up this thing w/ motor by myself. On the lake, I am able to go all over and find new spots. It handles the wake of passing boats well and provides enough room for 2 adults and gear. I bring a tackle bag and milk crate where I keep my straps, xtra gas, and anchor. I use my cooler as my seat by the motor, and the other passenger sits on the front end.

We love our skiff and have been using it almost every weekend. We finally got an outboard motor so we are enjoying it more than ever.
The only challenge is that the electronic pump that I bought does not inflate and deflate the skiff properly. I have not had the time to call Bote to exchange the pump.
