A boot is a type of footwear. Most boots mainly cover the foot and the ankle, while some also cover some part of the lower calf. Some boots extend up the leg, sometimes as far as the knee or even the hip. Most boots have a heel that is clearly distinguishable from the rest of the sole, even if the two are made of one piece. Traditionally made of leather or rubber, modern boots are made from a variety of materials.
Boots are worn both for their functionality and for reasons of style and fashion. Functional concerns include: protection of the foot and leg from water, mud, pestilence (infectious disease, insect bites and stings, snake bites), extreme temperatures, sharp or blunt hazards (e.g. work boots may provide steel toes), physical abrasion, corrosive agents, or damaging radiation; ankle support and traction for strenuous activities such as hiking; and durability in harsh conditions (e.g. the underside of combat boots may be reinforced with hobnails).
In some cases, the wearing of boots may be required by laws or regulations, such as the regulations in some jurisdictions requiring workers on construction sites to wear steel-toed safety boots. Some uniforms include boots as the regulated footwear. Boots are recommended as well for motorcycle riders. High-top athletic shoes are generally not considered boots, even though they do cover the ankle, primarily due to the absence of a distinct heel.
In humans and other primates, the knee joins the thigh with the leg and consists of two joints: one between the femur and tibia (tibiofemoral joint), and one between the femur and patella (patellofemoral joint). It is the largest joint in the human body. The knee is a modified hinge joint, which permits flexion and extension as well as slight internal and external rotation. The knee is vulnerable to injury and to the development of osteoarthritis.
It is often termed a compound joint having tibiofemoral and patellofemoral components. (The fibular collateral ligament is often considered with tibiofemoral components.)
The is a grammatical article in English, denoting persons or things that are already or about to be mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. The is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with nouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers.

I’m a m to f cross dresser and I love Stuart Weitzman boots. These boots are stylish, smooth and sexy. I can dress them up or down. Loving them. Extremely comfortable.

I purchased these boots because I’m 5/11 and with high heels puts me over 6 foot. These boots are very comfortable and the heel is sexy but conservative while still giving it that high heeled feel. My favorite brand for knee high or over the knee boots is always Stuart Weitzman. The good thing was the sale however I still think because the high quality I would if paid the regular price. I really love these boots, I can dress them up or down and they always please.

I have small calf and I am forever thankful to Stuart Weitzman tall boots! Its hard for me to find anything in other brands that fit my calf. I am petite at 5′ and slim.

Ordered the 50/50 returned them, wasn’t in love. The reserve made that much more of a difference for me, the little heel on my 5’3 frame is so much more attractive them the more flat 50/50.

I’m in love with these boots! The leather is butter soft and looks beautiful. The fit is perfect, I have very skinny calves (12.5 inches) with narrow ankles but these boots hug my calves and taper down nicely to my tiny ankles. I did size down a half size based on reading the reviews and I’m glad I did. Definitely an investment but worth the money.
