A classic is an outstanding example of a particular style; something of lasting worth or with a timeless quality; of the first or highest quality, class, or rank – something that exemplifies its class. The word can be an adjective (a classic car) or a noun (a classic of English literature). It denotes a particular quality in art, architecture, literature, design, technology, or other cultural artifacts. In commerce, products are named 'classic' to denote a long-standing popular version or model, to distinguish it from a newer variety. Classic is used to describe many major, long-standing sporting events. Colloquially, an everyday occurrence (e.g. a joke or mishap) may be described in some dialects of English as 'an absolute classic'.

"Classic" should not be confused with classical, which refers specifically to certain cultural styles, especially in music and architecture: styles generally taking inspiration from the Classical tradition, hence classicism.

A paddle is a handheld tool with an elongated handle and a flat, widened end (the blade) used as a lever to apply force onto the bladed end. It most commonly describes a completely handheld tool used to propel a human-powered watercraft by pushing water in a direction opposite to the direction of travel (i.e. paddling). A paddle is different from an oar (which can be similar in shape and perform the same function via rowing) – an oar is attached to the watercraft via a fulcrum.

The term "paddle" can also be used to describe objects of similar shapes or functions:

  • A rotating set of paddle boards known as a paddle wheel is used to propel a steamboat or paddle steamer.
  • In a number of racquet sports (e.g. ping-pong and paddle ball), a "paddle" or "bat" is a short, solid racket used to strike a ball.
  • A mixing paddle is a device used to stir or mix separate ingredients within a mixture.
  • A spanking paddle is used in corporal punishment, typically to forcefully hit someone (e.g. a juvenile) on the buttocks.

Teak (Tectona grandis) is a tropical hardwood tree species in the family Lamiaceae. It is a large, deciduous tree that occurs in mixed hardwood forests. Tectona grandis has small, fragrant white flowers arranged in dense clusters (panicles) at the end of the branches. These flowers contain both types of reproductive organs (perfect flowers). The large, papery leaves of teak trees are often hairy on the lower surface. Teak wood has a leather-like smell when it is freshly milled and is particularly valued for its durability and water resistance. The wood is used for boat building, exterior construction, veneer, furniture, carving, turnings, and various small projects.

Tectona grandis is native to south and southeast Asia, mainly Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Sri Lanka, but is naturalised and cultivated in many countries in Africa and the Caribbean. Myanmar's teak forests account for nearly half of the world's naturally occurring teak. Molecular studies show that there are two centres of the genetic origin of teak: one in India and the other in Myanmar and Laos.

Bought the 12’ board. Pretty solid construction, great out on the water. My only complaints are the lack of handle on rear, and the fun attachment. Surly someone can design a better system for attaching the fin vs that little screw/square nut? And I think certain section la like nose, and rear corners should be reinforced with Kevlar or similar..

It took me a while to pull the trigger but I’m so happy that I did!

This thing is so solid and versatile! I live on a tidal marsh and usually wade out for fish. Not any more. The set up is great. My son casts from the cooler while I push along. Couldn’t be happier.

From the first time I got on the board: stability, speed, accuracy, and durability is just on point. The color looks sweet, the ergonomics is just smooth sailing. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Like the saying goes, you pay for what you get. And this is right on the money. Don’t hesitate and just do it, you won’t regret it..

Paddles very smoothly and is very stable. It is very heavy. I’m a large strong man and it is very difficult to lift and carry. The Wheel Rac will make this so much easier, when available. The purchase process and delivery was seamless. Get a BOTE!
