Annex (American English) or annexe (Commonwealth English; see spelling differences) may refer to:

Construction is a general term meaning the art and science of forming objects, systems, or organizations. It comes from the Latin word constructio (from com- "together" and struere "to pile up") and Old French construction. To 'construct' is a verb: the act of building, and the noun is construction: how something is built or the nature of its structure.

In its most widely used context, construction covers the processes involved in delivering buildings, infrastructure, industrial facilities, and associated activities through to the end of their life. It typically starts with planning, financing, and design that continues until the asset is built and ready for use. Construction also covers repairs and maintenance work, any works to expand, extend and improve the asset, and its eventual demolition, dismantling or decommissioning.

The construction industry contributes significantly to many countries' gross domestic products (GDP). Global expenditure on construction activities was about $4 trillion in 2012. In 2022, expenditure on the construction industry exceeded $11 trillion a year, equivalent to about 13 percent of global GDP. This spending was forecasted to rise to around $14.8 trillion in 2030.

The construction industry promotes economic development and brings many non-monetary benefits to many countries, but it is one of the most hazardous industries. For example, about 20% (1,061) of US industry fatalities in 2019 happened in construction.

Coop or Co-op most often refer to:

  • Chicken coop or other animal enclosure
  • Cooperative or co-operative ("co-op"), an association co-operating for mutual social, economic or cultural benefit
    • Consumers' co-operative
    • Food cooperative
    • Housing cooperative (as in "a co-op apartment")
      • Building cooperative
    • Worker cooperative
  • Cooperative board game
  • Cooperative video game
  • Prison, in slang

Coop, COOP or Co-op may also refer to:

Superior may refer to:

  • Superior (hierarchy), something which is higher in a hierarchical structure of any kind

It was easy to put together. It does not require at special tools. One person can assemble. The direction are easy to fallow. I would recommend painting or staining it so it may last longer. It seems sturdy so far.

The metal portion of the tray was off the track in a few sections. But we found something that would work in its place.

Overall design works really well. Puts together easily. But lost all of our new teenaged peeps to a family of foxes the first night they were in this. Mainly due to how this was positioned on tilted land. But lots of evidence they were able to push the coop screens somewhat. Had they not dug underneath (our fault) they would have been able to get in via the screens. Screens only seem to be secured by being in the slots of the frame. We will go around and secure them better and/or add another layer of screening ourselves.

I was amazed how easy it was to out together. I stained to keep the wood treated and hopefully last a little longer and added some of my own touches. We have 8 hens in the coop at the moment and we will see if once they are bigger we would like to add to our flock.

The coop arrived on the date that was given (yesterday), and we put it together this morning. It took the two of us about two hours, but that included some modifications. We dug out around the area and put down hardware cloth to prevent any predators from digging under the coop. The holes and pieces lined up perfectly, instructions were pretty clear, and all the pieces were included. There was a small crack in one of the plastic roof pieces, but nothing a little silicone couldn’t fix. Otherwise, all pieces were in great shape. We plan to paint and seal the wood to protect it from the elements, but otherwise it’s finished! We let our girls check it out today and so far they are loving it! I hope this holds up well, which we will see over time. As of right now, we are extremely happy with this product!

The wood used in this product is not treated for outdoor use and a few pieces were split needing additional reinforcement. Quality of the wood is not the best. However all pieces and hardware were received and the coop went together very easily. My recommendation is to paint each piece with a protective paint prior to assembling.

My hens absolutely love this coop! I searched and searched everywhere for the right coop and got this one – I’m super glad I did. It wasn’t difficult to put together and really seems to be high quality, especially for the price.

I was hesitant to purchase this coop but after a year into it, I have zero regrets. It was easy to put together. In fact, I did it entirely by myself. I did put down some pressure-treated 2x4s as a base foundation so the coop was level and to keep the coop off the ground. I highly recommend taking the extra step to do this. It helps keep everything level so the doors open and close without problems.

I live in NH and this coop made it through a cold winter with no problems. It’s easy to find places to run extension cords inside for heat lamps and heated roosts. I might add some insulation for next winter but it’s not a necessity.

I have six chickens in the coop and they have been happy but I do let them outside to pay and before winter, I added a dog pen enclosure to the side of the coop for extra penned yard space. I purchased the dog pen from Tractor Supply and it has given them a lot more space during the winter months to roam around on ground that stays snow free.

I also installed an automatic chicken door without having to change anything about the coop and that has been a worthwhile addition. It’s a great coop. I did have a little damage from shipping but I simply used some wood glue and a clamp overnight to get t back in shape. It wasn’t a problem for me and sort of expected given the product and the way shipping goes. It’s a GREAT coop for the price and I can easily recommend it. Oh, and I wouldn’t recommend going much smaller than this if you are doing six chickens.

I was surprised that it’s a really well made coup. The wood was much better quality that most other pre fab coups. It’s pretty thick & sturdy. Not the thin balsa wood. It’s very roomy & has roosts for the chickens! Many don’t have roosts & chickens like to sleep off the ground. It has lots of different types of doors to access parts of it. The pull-out tray in the back is definitely a + for easy cleaning. Some people said theirs came with some damage but mine did not. & The delivery guy put it exactly where I wanted it in the yard to setup. The box was quite heavy but possible to move if you had too, about 200lbs. It was relatively easy to put together. I did it by myself & I had the entire thing up in about 2.5hrs. It would be easier with a 2nd person to help to hold up the 1st 2 sides of the coup part & the 1st 2 sides of the cage part. Once those are up you can do it alone easily. The directions were easy to read. I took out all the sides & placed them on the ground where they are going & just flipped them up & fastened together. Piece of cake. I assembled mine on slightly uneven ground & it was still easy until, of course you get to the roof you’ll have to level it. My entire yard is in a downhill slope so I didn’t have much of a choice in that. I raised it up with blocks & leveled it for the roof part. We are going to level it with 2x4s along the bottom & fill in any gaps with wire. You should not leave the coup sitting on the ground if you want it to last. The wood is not pressure treated. I still believe it would last 5yrs or more but if you lift it up it’ll last much longer. It comes unpainted, raw wood so I also advise painting it. The roof is made of a very durable wavy plastic material & comes in 3 parts with 2 screw holes on each part. Each piece of the coup sides have 3 premade screw holes so you know where to put them. The piece you screw into is not pre-drilled for strength. This coup can fit quite a few birds & is roomy. I also may add another screw on each piece. 1 piece of advice! Put the ramp on last! The directions say to assemble the coup part, then put on the ramp then assemble the cage part. I wanted to move mine a bit & it’s easy to move assembled with 1 other person but if you want to move it at all put the ramp on very last. You can walk right into the cage to do it. All in all definitely a great pre fab coup, easily assemble & great price. I highly recommend!

This coop is very well made and very easy to put together. The longest part was painting it, but I am glad I could customize it to my style. There is lots of room inside the coop. The wire mesh is very strong. Overall a great purchase.

I read several reviews about issues with shipping and damaged parts. We received our coop within a weeks time and it was in perfect condition. My husband put it together with the help of my children and it’s perfect.

Bought this same brand of chicken coop a few years back. After adding to the flock, we had to upgrade to a larger coop. There was some damage done in shipping but a little wood glue and some clamps took care of that. Overall the coop feels sturdy, looks great when painted and if it holds up like the last one I will be happy.

Do to some damage during shipping it had a small hole in the roof and a piece of wood cracked. The Tractor Supply Store gave me a discount because of damage, they were great. Was easy to build and being unfinished was able to stain it the color I wanted. Very happy with the coop.

The coop arrived in great condition and was very easy and straightforward to assemble. The box and directions are clear it needs to be stained or painted. I chose to paint mine before assembly which took a while but I’m very happy with it and it has plenty of room for my six ISA brown girls.

I bought this pre-assembled last night. The panel that the ramp goes up to was put in upside down. I partially took it apart and fixed it. I called the local store and let them know the others needed to be changed. They instandy asked me to bring it back and they would make it right. I had to make a few other little adjustments, but nothing a few minutes and screw driver wouldn’t handle. When our chicks are big enough to move in an use it, i will adjust my review, if needed.
