A gel is a semi-solid that can have properties ranging from soft and weak to hard and tough. Gels are defined as a substantially dilute cross-linked system, which exhibits no flow when in the steady state, although the liquid phase may still diffuse through this system.

Gels are mostly liquid by mass, yet they behave like solids because of a three-dimensional cross-linked network within the liquid. It is the cross-linking within the fluid that gives a gel its structure (hardness) and contributes to the adhesive stick (tack). In this way, gels are a dispersion of molecules of a liquid within a solid medium. The word gel was coined by 19th-century Scottish chemist Thomas Graham by clipping from gelatine.

The process of forming a gel is called gelation.

Joy is the state of being that allows one to experience feelings of intense, long-lasting happiness and contentment of life. It is closely related to, and often evoked by, well-being, success, or good fortune. Happiness, pleasure, and gratitude are closely related to joy but are not identical to it.

Philosophy ('love of wisdom' in Ancient Greek) is a systematic study of general and fundamental questions concerning topics like existence, reason, knowledge, value, mind, and language. It is a rational and critical inquiry that reflects on its own methods and assumptions.

Historically, many of the individual sciences, such as physics and psychology, formed part of philosophy. However, they are considered separate academic disciplines in the modern sense of the term. Influential traditions in the history of philosophy include Western, Arabic–Persian, Indian, and Chinese philosophy. Western philosophy originated in Ancient Greece and covers a wide area of philosophical subfields. A central topic in Arabic–Persian philosophy is the relation between reason and revelation. Indian philosophy combines the spiritual problem of how to reach enlightenment with the exploration of the nature of reality and the ways of arriving at knowledge. Chinese philosophy focuses principally on practical issues in relation to right social conduct, government, and self-cultivation.

Major branches of philosophy are epistemology, ethics, logic, and metaphysics. Epistemology studies what knowledge is and how to acquire it. Ethics investigates moral principles and what constitutes right conduct. Logic is the study of correct reasoning and explores how good arguments can be distinguished from bad ones. Metaphysics examines the most general features of reality, existence, objects, and properties. Other subfields are aesthetics, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of religion, philosophy of science, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of history, and political philosophy. Within each branch, there are competing schools of philosophy that promote different principles, theories, or methods.

Philosophers use a great variety of methods to arrive at philosophical knowledge. They include conceptual analysis, reliance on common sense and intuitions, use of thought experiments, analysis of ordinary language, description of experience, and critical questioning. Philosophy is related to many other fields, including the sciences, mathematics, business, law, and journalism. It provides an interdisciplinary perspective and studies the scope and fundamental concepts of these fields. It also investigates their methods and ethical implications.

Piece or Pieces (not to be confused with peace) may refer to:

A shower is a place in which a person bathes under a spray of typically warm or hot water. Indoors, there is a drain in the floor. Most showers have temperature, spray pressure and adjustable showerhead nozzle. The simplest showers have a swivelling nozzle aiming down on the user, while more complex showers have a showerhead connected to a hose that has a mounting bracket. This allows the showerer to hold the showerhead by hand to spray the water onto different parts of their body. A shower can be installed in a small shower stall or bathtub with a plastic shower curtain or door. Showering is common due to the efficiency of using it compared with a bathtub. Its use in hygiene is, therefore, common practice.

I buy these every year and very handy to have for last minute gifts. Agree that the scents donn’t last as long as they used to do. But, nice shower experience then doesn’t clash with perfume etc.
I wish they would include 12 kringle type gift bags right size for this size bottle, I don’t always have coffee mug or other container on hand.

I got my bottles in perfect condition. Caps a little loose but no leakage whatsoever due to safety seals. No big deal. The suds this product makes is out of this world. I have only tried the lemon so far but I don’t need to try anymore right now to know its a good deal. 4 of the scents don’t sound appealing to me but they will be great for Christmas gifts. This was a SUPER deal and I am happy with the purchase. I plan on using these after workout at the gym. Perfect size. I also like the fact that I can try so many different scents at a great price point. LOVE!

I’ve been using the 3/1 shower gels for 10+ years & I also use them as hand soaps. I personally do not ever use bar soaps anymore although I do keep them for visitors if they want them. This particular combination contains several of my regular scents I use daily and have purchased several times over the years. Although there are several I personally do not care for that doesn’t mean they do not smell good, just “different strokes for different folks”. Happy to have been able to try some new scents.

I have sampled only 2 of the 12 – 6oz bottles and I’m already very pleased. A small amount goes a long way and I’m glad I got auto ship.

I, too, wanted to report that my Philosophy Shower Gel Collection arrived in good condition. All bottles were sealed and there was no leakage at all. These 6-oz. gels will really come in handy at Christmas time. I am always in need of holiday remembrances for the mail carrier, UPS guy/gal, etc. as well as good stocking stuffers. For the price of @$4.40 per gift, these are ideal.
