Amazon Prime app sometimes fails to load and you have to turn the telly off and on again to get it to work. But only occasionally. Everything else great.

Picture quality superb and several picture options which are very good. We wondered if we would need a sound bar but the sound quality is excellent so that’s saved us a few hundred pounds. Easy to set up which was a worry for us but no problems.

Got this at a really good price from Sonic Direct, after reading several reviews extolling this TV’s virtues. I won’t mention the sound, as all my pieces of kit run through a receiver, so I have no opinion The picture, for the price, is nothing short of outstanding. After a bit of tweaking to the settings the image from 4K sources embarrasses sets in a higher price bracket. I have also been very pleasantly surprised by the job the TV does with regular HD content through Sky Q. Colours are bright, and darks are OK (although not brilliant, but it’s not OLED, so this is nothing of a surprise). All of the above is true IF you are sat directly in front of the set. However, the moment you start moving to the side, colours are unnatural and washed out, even from about 20 degrees off centre. I know that this is a general issue with edge lit sets, but my 2016 LG does a far better job at this. So, it’s ideal for the two of us – our viewing settee is in prime position. But I probably wouldn’t recommend for a larger family, where you’re more likely to be sat further out.

Mounted on chimney breast and on an extendable arm. Enjoy BBC4 on it and ease of use across all catch up platforms. Also blue ray dvd looks and sounds superb on it. Purchased through local independent retailer. Promotion included complimentary 5 yr warranty.
