The chicken (Gallus domesticus) is a large and round short-winged bird, domesticated from the red junglefowl of Southeast Asia around 8,000 years ago. Most chickens are raised for food, providing meat and eggs; others are kept as pets or for cockfighting.
Chickens are common and widespread domestic animals, with a total population of 26.5 billion as of 2023, and an annual production of more than 50 billion birds. A hen bred for laying can produce over 300 eggs per year. There are numerous cultural references to chickens in folklore, religion, and literature.

A tractor is an engineering vehicle specifically designed to deliver a high tractive effort (or torque) at slow speeds, for the purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery such as that used in agriculture, mining or construction. Most commonly, the term is used to describe a farm vehicle that provides the power and traction to mechanize agricultural tasks, especially (and originally) tillage, and now many more. Agricultural implements may be towed behind or mounted on the tractor, and the tractor may also provide a source of power if the implement is mechanised.

The chicken was easy to put together. Simple instructions. It came with everything needed to build. It even came with extra paint to cover up scratchs. My only complaint is 2 walls were warped, which is to be expected with any wood structure. It made assembly a pain in the butt, but not impossible.

fit and finish not quite up to Amish trained standards. Several spots where we had to work very hard to get sections to go together and still had some gaps. Half of the screws were placed poorly.

Great coop. Easy to put together. Took my hubby and I about an hour.

Putting it together wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews I read. My husband took his time to make sure the base was level. The roof also needs to be in place before drilling in the screws. The delivery was perfect. The driver new exactly what to do. I think my Muscovy Ducks will love their new house.

Overall we’re happy with the coop. We did have to repair the “C” wall because it was damaged during the shipping process. And some of the walls were a bit warped so it wasn’t easy to put the walls together or put the roof on.

Love this coop. It’s durable and I don’t have to worry about my chickens freezing in winter became of drafty holes and windows. I’ve had it for 2 yrs, no problems. I just purchased a second for my new flock.

Very well built. Top quality and way beyond my expectations! The assembly work was eight different steps and it took me and my buddy about 45 minutes to put it together in the rain. Everything is marked and the instructions do an outstanding job of letting you know where everything goes. The roof even has tech shield! The windows have screens in them for a breeze! The wood is treated, the craftsmanship of this coop is unbelievable not just for a coop but I would go so far as to say a home. This product is well worth the money! Again, Way more than I expected. I love the Amish!

We are very pleased with our OverEZ large chicken coop! It was super easy to assemble, roomy and sturdy. There was a couple of small cosmetic defects caused by shipping, but not a big deal. Could not be happier!!!

This coop is very well made. It did take two grown men skilled in all trades a solid 3 hours to level the ground, assemble both the coop and the large 8×12 run. They did not say it was difficult but you have to take into consideration location and if you are on a hillside or slope, it will require more prep work. Overall we are very happy with this coop and so are the ladies… they go right in at sunset. We have have freezing temperatures and the coop keeps the hens cozy. We leave the the small door open for them to come in and out to lay eggs as they are not on the same schedule. They also like go under the coop to dust bathe in the shade on sunny days. Would highly recommend and would buy again!

Not sure if I took the time to write a review after receiving the coop. We had no trouble assembling it. Bought the large coop for 10 chicks. Today is one of the coldest days Jan.15, 2022 and they are hanging out in the run we attached. We don’t heat it. There are no drafts and I keep a heated waterer inside it. During the warmer months we use the OverEZ waterer. Great company and awesome products. For laying feed I highly recommend Blue Seal.

This was very easy to assemble – need two people as some parts are heavy. Looks great. Good quality and very sturdy. Comes with extra paint incse you need touch ups. We are very happy with our purchase.

Just received my coop today (a day early). Two of us had it put together in about an hour and a half. Very well made. Very pleased.

I absolutely love this coop! It is the only prefab coop I could find that is true quality and will last. It is draft free and very spacious. Putting together was a little challenging especially with the roof. However the finished product is well worth the trouble of assembly. I would highly recommend.

Well thought out product, sturdy construction and really like how easy it was to put together. It took my son and I about an hour to complete it. My 9 Easter Eggers have plenty of leg room now. would definitely buy it again!!

This is a very high quality chicken coop. Very easy to put together. Took two of us maybe 30 minutes. Highly recommended this product!

Solid coop that was easy to put together despite the lack of instructions. It does take at least two people to assemble due to the size and weight of the parts though three would be even better when it comes to the roof pieces. The crate it was shipped in was destroyed but the coop seems undamaged by the rough journey.

Beautiful solid coop! Packaged well & setup was easy. Shopped for a few months. Make sure you read reviews. Some look big, but are super tiny.

Excellent chicken coop. Packaged very well and shipped without any of the issues in previous reviews. OverEZ must have read a few recommendations and improved how they packaged the coop for shipping. Came with red and white touch-up paint. Not difficult to put together, only had two minor issues. One of the two the roof portions would not to lay flush down on the four walls, but it simply took a little patience and loosening of a few wood screws and it fit perfectly. The other problem was the man-door. I had to “plane” down the left side of the door in order for it to close flush against the sidewall. If not, there would have been no way to close and lock the door without removing the trim.
The metal roof is a plus as it will last longer than asphalt/wood shingles. Since the floor is already coated in a waterproof resign, this should make it last even longer and allow for easier cleanings. We only have six hens currently and are going to add two more. After using this chicken coop for most of the winter, I would highly recommend it. It goes together very well, looks great when completed and the hens love it.

VERY well-planned shipping and building process. I found myself saying over and over, “Wow- they engineered this really well.”
