For a second I was worried about the price but then I realized that this case will last a lifetime. It’s gorgeous and turns heads at the airport and best of all it fits as a carry-on and have tons of space inside. I’m on vacation now for 6 days and I packed quite a bit and STILL have space left over. Only negative about this case is that it’s heavy for me. I’m a female 5’4 140lbs and this case comes in at 10 lbs. Ignore the price if you’re able too and just buy!

After recently replacing a Tumi International Carry-on that has flown more than 1 million airmiles with their latest Alpha iteration, I was very disappointed with the integrated laptop sleeve which essentially took up half of its width and incapable of holding a full-week of clothes. After researching the ‘best’ bag for capacity within this size, I kept seeing the Rimowa Original as highly regarded. Whilst the price may not be justifiable for someone whom rarely travels or someone whom prefers to check luggage, this suitcase has just gone on two flights since purchasing this week and I cannot recommend it high enough: SO PLEASED. The inside is divided in two- with mesh divider on each side that are adjustable- comfortably fits business and casual clothes for my needs along with shoes [heels and sneakers]; love that it both does not have a zipper and the quality of its locking system. I went with the silver so with the inevitable dings/scratches won’t be as noticeable as the black version [it’s silver under the coating, per a display case I saw at Michigan Ave].
