An ace is a playing card, die or domino with a single pip. In the standard French deck, an ace has a single suit symbol (a heart, diamond, spade, or a club) located in the middle of the card, sometimes large and decorated, especially in the case of the ace of spades. This embellishment on the ace of spades started when King James VI of Scotland and I of England required an insignia of the printing house to be printed on the ace of spades. This insignia was necessary for identifying the printing house and stamping it as having paid the new stamp tax. Although this requirement was abolished in 1960, the tradition has been kept by many card makers. In other countries the stamp and embellishments are usually found on ace cards; clubs in France, diamonds in Russia, and hearts in Genoa because they have the most blank space.

These fit my average feet beautifully. Comfortable and compliments. I preferred them by mistake. I thought I hit the order button on the platform sneaker. Once they arrived, I decided they were very good looking and perhaps less trendy, more classic. I wore them sailing with white shorts and a button down, looked great. Made well. Are any sneakers worth this sort of money. No, but I love my Prada and Gucci sneakers. They are comfort and elevate an outfit. Very cute. I love the style. I have pretty average feet and had no issues. My feet aren’t narrow or wide, no arch issues…

I struggle to find comfortable shoes as my feet are a touch wide and tender. These did give me small blisters on my first outing with socks, but haven’t bothered me since. I wear them with white bomba socks and should mention I sized down from an 8 to a 7.5 and possibly could have gone down a full size. I’m actually pondering buying another color.
