Floor covering is a term to generically describe any finish material applied over a floor structure to provide a walking surface. Both terms are used interchangeably but floor covering refers more to loose-laid materials.

Ohh simple very nice finish!!

It was a little tricky to get the pieces together but once we got started and played around with it a little, it was smooth sailing. So far it is holding up well with two big dogs and kids. I found it easier to attach the short side first, hold it at a little angle and tap the long side in.

Like the feel and the look. Recently installed look so nice brings out the color of the walls. And getting more to finish the rest of the house.

The actual color is more like driftwood gray. It only looks tan like the picture if you have a warm white light shining on it. Super easy to install. All click edges are highly precision with no gaps when clicked and flat. Prep work is key here. ridges or dips in plywood need to be corrected first (belt sand flat or fill in the dips). You will thank yourself later. No need for extra padding. Very comfortable with no sound transfer from existing pre-installed underlayment. I installed this in a master bedroom, and adjoining bath with walk in closet.

This product is fantastic. We never had done floors before. The floor looks amazing. We started with a bathroom and got so excited that have expanded in to a lot of areas of the house. And still working with it. The planks are easy to install. Tools for cutting for registers, etc we used jig saw and oscillator tool. For cutting the length of plank we used a regular utility knife and snap. Easy. Love it! Love walking bear foot on this new floors the feeling of this new floors in our house is great. Turned out far better than we expected. Here are some pictures (keep mind we still in the process of instalation)

My wife and I looked and researched lots of different flooring options for our basement. Joe our floor salesman recommended we try this product. Joe said he has sold a lot of this color and brand “MSI” and had great results and no complaints. Joe was definitely correct about this color and product. We absolutely love it! We are so thankful for Home Depot’s willingness to work with us to find the right type of flooring that would work the best for us. We installed over 500 square feet of this in our basement over your basic concrete. We sealed all our floor cracks and this went down very easy and fast. I have installed thousands of square feet of the wood laminates and never tried the vinyl laminate before. I will always get this brand from now on and will always use the vinyl instead of the wood. The floor gone’s together perfect on the seams and the ends. There are never any breaks where the groove is like the wood laminates. Our floor was definitely not perfectly level but once you get the hang of it this floor really seals up and stays together well. It is super easy to score and snap right on the job site on a 6’ foldout table. Even when you have to cut some harder cuts around objects you can do it right where you are with a jigsaw , there’s very little mess or dust. No up and down stairs to make cuts makes installation much faster and easier on the installer. We are not professionals just have owned many houses and fixed them up ourselves. Great product MSI and Home Depot! Thank you so much !!
