Denim is a sturdy cotton warp-faced textile in which the weft passes under two or more warp threads. This twill weave produces a diagonal ribbing that distinguishes it from cotton duck. Denim, as it is recognized today, was first produced in Nîmes, France.
Denim is available in a range of colors, but the most common denim is indigo denim in which the warp thread is dyed while the weft thread is left white. As a result of the warp-faced twill weaving, one side of the textile is dominated by the blue warp threads, and the other side is dominated by the white weft threads. Jeans fabricated from this cloth are thus predominantly white on the inside. Denim is used to create a wide variety of garments, accessories, and furniture.

Love this dress, after reading the other reviews I agree it is a bit short waisted, but ok for me. I think the length could have been a bit longer, it would have looked even better.

I’m delighted with this dress, it’s so comfortable on and just the right length for me. I may put a proper belt on it, not sure. I feel the cut of the dress flatters and definitely feels good on, would recommend. Bought my usual size 12.

I was unsure about this dress but decided to bite the bullet and try it. Was really surprised. I am curvy lady and often dresses with fit on the hips but not on the top After reading reviews I was a bit hesitant about the body being too short but it fits perfectly, the length is just perfect for me and comes to my calf. So impressed that the fastenings are really secure. Being poppers I was worried that it might lend itself to pop open but no. Felt really confident in this dress. I did roll the sleeves as feel they were a bit constricting but that just me. Glad I brought this as it’s a good quality material that I can see remaining a part of wardrobe for many years to come.

Very good quality Unfortunately due to lockdown size 8 pulled on my bum but fitted on the bust. So I bought size ten and will take it to dressmakers to take in on bust Still a smart tailored smart /casual look BARGAIN.
