2 (two) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 1 and preceding 3. It is the smallest and the only even prime number.

Because it forms the basis of a duality, it has religious and spiritual significance in many cultures.

Black is a color that results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without hue, like white and grey. It is often used symbolically or figuratively to represent darkness. Black and white have often been used to describe opposites such as good and evil, the Dark Ages versus the Age of Enlightenment, and night versus day. Since the Middle Ages, black has been the symbolic color of solemnity and authority, and for this reason it is still commonly worn by judges and magistrates.

Black was one of the first colors used by artists in Neolithic cave paintings. It was used in ancient Egypt and Greece as the color of the underworld. In the Roman Empire, it became the color of mourning, and over the centuries it was frequently associated with death, evil, witches, and magic. In the 14th century, it was worn by royalty, clergy, judges, and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets, businessmen and statesmen in the 19th century, and a high fashion color in the 20th century. According to surveys in Europe and North America, it is the color most commonly associated with mourning, the end, secrets, magic, force, violence, fear, evil, and elegance.

Black is the most common ink color used for printing books, newspapers and documents, as it provides the highest contrast with white paper and thus is the easiest color to read. Similarly, black text on a white screen is the most common format used on computer screens. As of September 2019, the darkest material is made by MIT engineers from vertically aligned carbon nanotubes.

Motorola, Inc. () was an American multinational telecommunications company based in Schaumburg, Illinois. It was founded in 1928 as Galvin Manufacturing Corporation by brothers Paul and Joseph Galvin. The company changed its name to Motorola in 1947. After having lost $4.3 billion from 2007 to 2009, Motorola was split into two independent public companies, Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions, on January 4, 2011. The reorganization was structured with Motorola Solutions legally succeeding Motorola, Inc., and Motorola Mobility being spun off.

Motorola designed and sold wireless network equipment such as cellular transmission base stations and signal amplifiers. Motorola's home and broadcast network products included set-top boxes, digital video recorders, and network equipment used to enable video broadcasting, computer telephony, and high-definition television. Its business and government customers consisted mainly of wireless voice and broadband systems (used to build private networks), and public safety communications systems like Astro and Dimetra. These businesses, except for set-top boxes and cable modems, became part of Motorola Solutions.

Motorola's wireless telephone handset division was a pioneer in cellular telephones. Also known as the Personal Communication Sector (PCS) prior to 2004, it pioneered the "mobile phone" with the first truly mobile "brick phone" DynaTAC, "flip phone" with the MicroTAC as well as the "clam phone" with the StarTAC in the mid-1990s. It had staged a resurgence by the mid-2000s with the RAZR, but lost market share in the second half of that decade. Later it focused on smartphones using Google's open-source Android mobile operating system. The first phone to use Android 2.0 "Eclair", the Motorola Droid, was released in 2009 (the GSM version launched a month later, in Europe, as the Motorola Milestone). The handset division, along with the cable set-top box and modem businesses, were later spun off into Motorola Mobility.

Radio is the technology of communicating using radio waves. Radio waves are electromagnetic waves of frequency between 3 hertz (Hz) and 300 gigahertz (GHz). They are generated by an electronic device called a transmitter connected to an antenna which radiates oscillating electrical energy, often characterized as a wave. They can be received by other antennas connected to a radio receiver; this is the fundamental principle of radio communication. In addition to communication, radio is used for radar, radio navigation, remote control, remote sensing, and other applications.

In radio communication, used in radio and television broadcasting, cell phones, two-way radios, wireless networking, and satellite communication, among numerous other uses, radio waves are used to carry information across space from a transmitter to a receiver, by modulating the radio signal (impressing an information signal on the radio wave by varying some aspect of the wave) in the transmitter. In radar, used to locate and track objects like aircraft, ships, spacecraft and missiles, a beam of radio waves emitted by a radar transmitter reflects off the target object, and the reflected waves reveal the object's location to a receiver that is typically colocated with the transmitter. In radio navigation systems such as GPS and VOR, a mobile navigation instrument receives radio signals from multiple navigational radio beacons whose position is known, and by precisely measuring the arrival time of the radio waves the receiver can calculate its position on Earth. In wireless radio remote control devices like drones, garage door openers, and keyless entry systems, radio signals transmitted from a controller device control the actions of a remote device.

The existence of radio waves was first proven by German physicist Heinrich Hertz on 11 November 1886. In the mid-1890s, building on techniques physicists were using to study electromagnetic waves, Italian physicist Guglielmo Marconi developed the first apparatus for long-distance radio communication, sending a wireless Morse Code message to a recipient over a kilometer away in 1895, and the first transatlantic signal on 12 December 1901. The first commercial radio broadcast was transmitted on 2 November 1920, when the live returns of the Harding-Cox presidential election were broadcast by Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company in Pittsburgh, under the call sign KDKA.

The emission of radio waves is regulated by law, coordinated by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which allocates frequency bands in the radio spectrum for various uses.

With or WITH may refer to:

  • With, a preposition in English
  • Carl Johannes With (1877–1923), Danish doctor and arachnologist
  • With (character), a character in D. N. Angel
  • With (novel), a novel by Donald Harrington
  • With (album), a 2014 album by TVXQ

Yellow is the color between green and orange on the spectrum of light. It is evoked by light with a dominant wavelength of roughly 575–585 nm. It is a primary color in subtractive color systems, used in painting or color printing. In the RGB color model, used to create colors on television and computer screens, yellow is a secondary color made by combining red and green at equal intensity. Carotenoids give the characteristic yellow color to autumn leaves, corn, canaries, daffodils, and lemons, as well as egg yolks, buttercups, and bananas. They absorb light energy and protect plants from photo damage in some cases. Sunlight has a slight yellowish hue when the Sun is near the horizon, due to atmospheric scattering of shorter wavelengths (green, blue, and violet).

Because it was widely available, yellow ochre pigment was one of the first colors used in art; the Lascaux cave in France has a painting of a yellow horse 17,000 years old. Ochre and orpiment pigments were used to represent gold and skin color in Egyptian tombs, then in the murals in Roman villas. In the early Christian church, yellow was the color associated with the Pope and the golden keys of the Kingdom, but it was also associated with Judas Iscariot and used to mark heretics. In the 20th century, Jews in Nazi-occupied Europe were forced to wear a yellow star. In China, bright yellow was the color of the Middle Kingdom, and could be worn only by the emperor and his household; special guests were welcomed on a yellow carpet.

According to surveys in Europe, Canada, the United States and elsewhere, yellow is the color people most often associate with amusement, gentleness, humor, happiness, and spontaneity; however it can also be associated with duplicity, envy, jealousy, greed, justice, and, in the U.S., cowardice. In Iran it has connotations of pallor/sickness, but also wisdom and connection. In China and many Asian countries, it is seen as the color of royalty, nobility, respect, happiness, glory, harmony and wisdom.

These mortorola two way radios are high quality products. I love that the come with rechargeable batteries. I got these for my husband to use while doing work on his families ranch and he has had no problems with the range connection. It says it can be used up to 35 miles range! For me personally these radios are on the advanced/expert level of two way radios. These are not for beginners unless you really really study the user manual. With high quality comes a vast set of options for these radios. I don’t know if we will ever need to use all of the options but it’s great to have if we ever do need them. Added bonus of a two year warranty

These Motorola Solutions T470 two-way radios are easy to use. They are lightweight even with the batteries in. The batteries are rechargeable, AA, that comes with a dual USB for charging. The batteries need to be charged every 3 months if NOT in use. We have used then a handful of times and they still have 3 bars (full power). If the batteries are completely dead, it takes about 11 hours to fully charge. The two-way radios are weatherproof. They have 22 channels with easy pairing for the group call function. They have worked really well around our house and can’t wait to see how far they actually work where we live. The sound quality is great. The volume level is a knob you turn on top that is also the power knob. They are easy to hold but have clips to clip them onto your pocket, belt, etc.

I’ve got to admit I received these products for free. I was skeptical when I took them out of the package and took them on a camping trip but I was absolutely amazed the kind of distance that they had. I could be on one side of the lake talking to my step-son on the other. These could be very helpful for search and rescue and when you’re hiking with friends and family to stay in communication when cell phone service is not an option. We try different intervals to see how far away we could get from each other before the communication would break off and I must say I was very impressed how far away we were from each other and still couldn’t hear clearly. There’s a lot more you could do with these devices you can tap into scanner radio for your local RaceTrac as well. I would highly recommend these products to my friends and my family thank you for your time on this matter!

Was excited when I received the T470 2 way radios. However I was slightly disappointed with the instructions. I’m 62 and didn’t know what I was doing. Had my husband checked them out. They seem to work really well.

These two way radios are great for so many things. I got these for my husband and I to use them for kayak fishing trips to keep in touch with each other when we go our separate ways to fish different spots. They have a built in flashlight and a weather radio as well. You can link them with multiple sets so we will probably get another set for friends when they come out fishing with us. The kids like using them in the neighborhood when they go out to ride their bikes. The box says they have a range up to 35 miles, but we haven’t been that far apart to test that. The sound is loud and clear when talking and listening, no crackle at all, and they’ve been very easy to use.

I’m a fan of motorola two way radios. I’ve owned an older pair for a number of years. These new ones have so many great features my old ones don’t. I like the vibrate alert because you don’t always hear it go off in noisy environments. I like the weather bands and the ability to get weather alerts. While we haven’t tried to test the range limits of these they are crystal clear when short distances apart but out of sight. We’re excited to put these to the test on all our upcoming outdoor adventures. We’ll be using them on a mtn biking trip in a week where there’s no cell service and we’ll have a vehicle to shuttle us that we need to communicate with. These are a must for any outdoor enthusiast who needs to keep on touch with someone nearby.

I’m so happy with these two way radios! Really, everyone should have a pair handy. They’re a must have for hiking or camping, or any location where you don’t get a cell signal. We actually have a spotty signal a couple miles down the road, and my daughter is able to speak to me using these! You can also call for assistance, in a pinch, and it has a radio and flashlight to boot. Loving them.

We love this set of walkies! They are not like the normal kiddie ones that are pretty simple and low quality. These also have a rechargeable battery pack for each walkie talkie instead of needing new batteries all the time! The charger is included too. These have a good quality over distance and they look super cool too! They have clips that are removable if you want to wear them on your hip. Don’t forget the flashlight feature too! Love these!
