RAW TALENT. RAW SPIN.
Wedge technology has evolved. The new Milled Grind 3 features RAW Face Micro-Ribs, engineered for added face texture to deliver spin around the greens and added precision on partial shots.
CONSISTENT SPIN & RAW PERFORMANCE
There’s a reason RAW wedges are preferred by the game’s best players. The unplated material will rust over time to preserve consistent spin while also delivering better performance in wet conditions. With RAW Face Technology, only the face will rust while the rest of the head maintains a premium finish.
GREENSIDE PRECISION
All-new Raised Micro-Ribs provide added precision on challenging feel shots around the green. A more abrasive and textured surface area leads to better interaction between club face and ball on finesse shots.
MILLED CRAFTSMANSHIP
The milling process maximizes consistency, maintaining tolerance levels difficult for a human to repeat. The result is a precisely crafted grind on each and every wedge that produces optimal turf interaction and consistent performance.
3 (three) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 2 and preceding 4, and is the smallest odd prime number and the only prime preceding a square number. It has religious and cultural significance in many societies.
A blade's grind is its cross-sectional shape in a plane normal to the edge. Grind differs from blade profile, which is the blade's cross-sectional shape in the plane containing the blade's edge and the centre contour of the blade's back (meaning the shape of the blade when viewed from the side, i.e. clip point, spear point, etc.). The grind of a blade should not be confused with the bevel forming the sharpened edge; it more usually describes the overall cross-section of the blade, not inclusive of the beveled cutting edge which is typically of a different, less acute angle as the bevel ground onto the blade to give it a cross-sectional shape. For example, the famous Buck 110 hunting knife has a "hollow ground" blade, with concave blade faces (which aid in slicing through materials), but the cutting edge itself is a simple, flat-ground bevel of lesser angle. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to put a "hollow grind" onto the actual cutting edge of the blade itself, which is a very narrow and small bevel.

A wedge is a triangular shaped tool, a portable inclined plane, and one of the six simple machines. It can be used to separate two objects or portions of an object, lift up an object, or hold an object in place. It functions by converting a force applied to its blunt end into forces perpendicular (normal) to its inclined surfaces. The mechanical advantage of a wedge is given by the ratio of the length of its slope to its width. Although a short wedge with a wide angle may do a job faster, it requires more force than a long wedge with a narrow angle.
The force is applied on a flat, broad surface. This energy is transported to the pointy, sharp end of the wedge, hence the force is transported.
The wedge simply transports energy in the form of friction and collects it to the pointy end, consequently breaking the item.

I finally had to say goodbye to my old calloway forged 56 and I have to say, this wedge is amazing. The surface, the feel, swing weight is perfect. I’m able to get quite a bit of spin on low pitches near the green and can pop it up if needed with more weight forward. Amazing wedge 10/10.

Tried all different brands of wedges over the years and I always come back to my TaylorMade Wedges. The look and feel is great. I have confidence with every single shot. The raw face is a bonus for spin control.

Great spin, great feel, awesome club. I have read a lot of reviews about the club rusting but I had played over 10 rounds with this club and still no rust.

Got a 54 and 58 degree …can’t believe how great these wedges feel and react. So easy to hit it close with these wedges!! 54 with 13 degree bounce and 58 with 8 degree bounce. Perfect for the course I play!

I switched to the taylormade mg3’s from the Titleist Vokey SM7 and very happy so far. The look, feel, and spin was just what I was hoping for. I have played a dozen rounds with them so far.

Great gap wedge. Has perfect weight on it and feels great coming off the club. I was able to improve my 100 yard shots getting optimal air and finding greens with this club. Would recommend.

Awesome, soft feeling wedge. Low bounce model provides most short game shot options, for me anyway. I put project X 6.0 shaft in for a bit lower launch.

Great feel and amazing spin. Switched from MD5 Jaws and couldn’t be more happier. Wish there was more bounce options but simple is nice for us amateurs.
