In transportation, freight refers to goods conveyed by land, water or air, while cargo refers specifically to freight when conveyed via water or air. In economics, freight refers to goods transported at a freight rate for commercial gain. The term cargo is also used in case of goods in the cold-chain, because the perishable inventory is always in transit towards a final end-use, even when it is held in cold storage or other similar climate-controlled facilities, including warehouses.

Multi-modal container units, designed as reusable carriers to facilitate unit load handling of the goods contained, are also referred to as cargo, especially by shipping lines and logistics operators. When empty containers are shipped each unit is documented as a cargo and when goods are stored within, the contents are termed containerized cargo. Similarly, aircraft ULD boxes are also documented as cargo, with an associated packing list of the items contained within.

A company, abbreviated as co., is a legal entity representing an association of legal people, whether natural, juridical or a mixture of both, with a specific objective. Company members share a common purpose and unite to achieve specific, declared goals.

Over time, companies have evolved to have the following features: "separate legal personality, limited liability, transferable shares, investor ownership, and a managerial hierarchy". The company, as an entity, was created by the state which granted the privilege of incorporation.

Companies take various forms, such as:

  • voluntary associations, which may include nonprofit organizations
  • business entities, whose aim is to generate sales, revenue, and profit
  • financial entities and banks
  • programs or educational institutions

A company can be created as a legal person so that the company itself has limited liability as members perform or fail to discharge their duties according to the publicly declared incorporation published policy. When a company closes, it may need to be liquidated to avoid further legal obligations. Companies may associate and collectively register themselves as new companies; the resulting entities are often known as corporate groups.

Dry or dryness most often refers to:

  • Lack of rainfall, which may refer to
    • Arid regions
    • Drought
  • Dry or dry area, relating to legal prohibition of selling, serving, or imbibing alcoholic beverages
  • Dry humor, deadpan
  • Dryness (medical)
  • Dryness (taste), the lack of sugar in a drink, especially an alcoholic one
  • Dry direct sound without reverberation

Dry or DRY may also refer to:

Flies are insects of the order Diptera, the name being derived from the Greek δι- di- "two", and πτερόν pteron "wing". Insects of this order use only a single pair of wings to fly, the hindwings having evolved into advanced mechanosensory organs known as halteres, which act as high-speed sensors of rotational movement and allow dipterans to perform advanced aerobatics. Diptera is a large order containing more than 150,000 species including horse-flies, crane flies, hoverflies, mosquitoes and others.

Flies have a mobile head, with a pair of large compound eyes, and mouthparts designed for piercing and sucking (mosquitoes, black flies and robber flies), or for lapping and sucking in the other groups. Their wing arrangement gives them great manoeuvrability in flight, and claws and pads on their feet enable them to cling to smooth surfaces. Flies undergo complete metamorphosis; the eggs are often laid on the larval food-source and the larvae, which lack true limbs, develop in a protected environment, often inside their food source. Other species are ovoviviparous, opportunistically depositing hatched or hatching larvae instead of eggs on carrion, dung, decaying material, or open wounds of mammals. The pupa is a tough capsule from which the adult emerges when ready to do so; flies mostly have short lives as adults.

Diptera is one of the major insect orders and of considerable ecological and human importance. Flies are major pollinators, second only to the bees and their Hymenopteran relatives. Flies may have been among the evolutionarily earliest pollinators responsible for early plant pollination. Fruit flies are used as model organisms in research, but less benignly, mosquitoes are vectors for malaria, dengue, West Nile fever, yellow fever, encephalitis, and other infectious diseases; and houseflies, commensal with humans all over the world, spread foodborne illnesses. Flies can be annoyances especially in some parts of the world where they can occur in large numbers, buzzing and settling on the skin or eyes to bite or seek fluids. Larger flies such as tsetse flies and screwworms cause significant economic harm to cattle. Blowfly larvae, known as gentles, and other dipteran larvae, known more generally as maggots, are used as fishing bait, as food for carnivorous animals, and in medicine in debridement, to clean wounds.

S, or for lowercase, s, is the nineteenth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and other latin alphabets worldwide. Its name in English is ess (pronounced ), plural esses.

Shorts are a garment worn over the pelvic area, circling the waist and splitting to cover the upper part of the legs, sometimes extending down to the knees but not covering the entire length of the leg. They are called "shorts" because they are a shortened version of trousers, which cover the entire leg, but not the foot. Shorts are typically worn in warm weather or in an environment where comfort and airflow are more important than the protection of the legs.

There are a variety of shorts, ranging from knee-length short trousers that can in some situations be worn as formal clothes to beachwear and athletic shorts. Some types of shorts are typically worn by women, such as culottes, which are a divided skirt resembling a pair of loose-cut shorts.

The is a grammatical article in English, denoting persons or things that are already or about to be mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. The is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with nouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers.

Would have been a 5 star but with one minor(?) exception. Without getting into a discussion about the male anatomy these shorts would have been a 5 star however the zipper stops about one inch above where it should stop. Requires a bit of dancing at the urinal.

Just received my pair of Flex shorts. Great quality shorts. Love the fabric. Should be very comfortable in the summer heat and humidity of southeastern Virginia. My only complaint is the sizing. I am slightly over a 38 inch waist. I ordered the Large sized shorts 36-38. I figured an XLG shorts 40-42 would be too big. I wish clothing companies would make a 38-40 inch waist pants or shorts. I hate being an “in betweener”. I thought that since these shorts had a stretch waistband they would be a better fit. I was wrong. They are just a little tight, but I thought the 40-42 would be way too big. I think I’ll have to take a chance and exchange these for the larger size and hope for the best.

Hands down the best shorts I have ever worn. Let’s face it, if we could get away with it most guys would walk around in underwear all day … these are the closest thing to no I have ever found. I bought 4 pair. They are light, appropriatly flexible, and don’t get in your way at all. They are expensive but wear very well considering how light the fabric is. Well done Duluth, you have a winner here.

FIRST. If these shorts and matching pants are being discontinued, you made a HUGE mistake. I have at least 6 pair of shorts and 5 of the pants in different colors. These shorts and their corresponding pants have the best pocket design I have ever used. The fabric is very comfortable, very cool in hot environments and dry extremely fast. They are my go to pants and shorts from early spring till late fall. If they are discontinued, you may have lost my business. I will have to look elsewhere in the future as these are the best designed pants and shorts you make. I have tried others but keep going back to these.

I own 8 pairs of these for shorts for work for over 3 years. I work 5 months a year as a medic at a busy ocean front. These are by far the best ive ever owned. They are the same as the day they were delivered. I like them so much they are my go to for everyday day not at work too. You will not be disappointed, be sure you get the FLEX though.
