A lid or cover is part of a container, and serves as the closure or seal, usually one that completely closes the object. Lids can be placed on small containers such as tubs as well as larger lids for open-head pails and drums. Some lids have a security strip or a tamper-evident band to hold the lid on securely until opening is desired or authorized. These are usually irreversible to indicate that the container has been opened. They can be made of varying materials ranging from plastic to metal.

Smoke is a suspension of airborne particulates and gases emitted when a material undergoes combustion or pyrolysis, together with the quantity of air that is entrained or otherwise mixed into the mass. It is commonly an unwanted by-product of fires (including stoves, candles, internal combustion engines, oil lamps, and fireplaces), but may also be used for pest control (fumigation), communication (smoke signals), defensive and offensive capabilities in the military (smoke screen), cooking, or smoking (tobacco, cannabis, etc.). It is used in rituals where incense, sage, or resin is burned to produce a smell for spiritual or magical purposes. It can also be a flavoring agent and preservative.

Smoke inhalation is the primary cause of death in victims of indoor fires. The smoke kills by a combination of thermal damage, poisoning and pulmonary irritation caused by carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide and other combustion products.

Smoke is an aerosol (or mist) of solid particles and liquid droplets that are close to the ideal range of sizes for Mie scattering of visible light.

A system is a group of interacting or interrelated elements that act according to a set of rules to form a unified whole. A system, surrounded and influenced by its environment, is described by its boundaries, structure and purpose and is expressed in its functioning. Systems are the subjects of study of systems theory and other systems sciences.

Systems have several common properties and characteristics, including structure, function(s), behavior and interconnectivity.

A ventilator is a type of breathing apparatus, a class of medical technology that provides mechanical ventilation by moving breathable air into and out of the lungs, to deliver breaths to a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently. Ventilators may be computerized microprocessor-controlled machines, but patients can also be ventilated with a simple, hand-operated bag valve mask. Ventilators are chiefly used in intensive-care medicine, home care, and emergency medicine (as standalone units) and in anesthesiology (as a component of an anesthesia machine).

Ventilators are sometimes called "respirators", a term commonly used for them in the 1950s (particularly the "Bird respirator"). However, contemporary medical terminology uses the word "respirator" to refer to a face-mask that protects wearers against hazardous airborne substances.

Shipping was quick. Very powerful, but quiet fan. Only thing i would change is being able to turn the fan on / off without opening or closing the vent at the same time.
Through some hoops this can be achieved with the remote though.
Was a little worried about cutting holes into the roof of my van, but worth it for this fan.

This isn’t my first Maxxair Fan. After buying three for my last camper, I would never buy anything else. They are so quiet and efficient, I don’t know why anyone would buy anything else.

Replaced manual controlled fan with this. Very happy, works as expected. This is our second fan. First was ordered from another company. Arrived with box semi crushed, held together with packing tape, no inner box packing foam, everything just tossed it. The one ordered from Camping World looked like it just came off the shelf. Good job Camping World!

Just had two of these fans installed in my fifth wheel. One has the remote for the high ceiling living area and the other has no remote and was installed in the bathroom. Both work great. The only disappointment is I ordered the smoke (dark) lids believing they would not let any light through in our hot Florida weather. Although the lids look completely dark from the outside, you can still see the sky from inside the camper. Only time will tell how much heat will come through with that light.

I ordered my MaxxFan in June and it was backordered…to ship July 1. I was skeptical but it did promptly ship July 1 and arrived quickly. It was a couple weeks until I was able to get it installed. The really great news is that the instructions were clear and simple. My brother and I did the install with only one little hitch. One of the plug wire connectors included was faulty. It took us a bit to figure that out. Then the fan worked just great. And it looks awesome!
