4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures.
7
7 (seven) is the natural number following 6 and preceding 8. It is the only prime number preceding a cube.
As an early prime number in the series of positive integers, the number seven has greatly symbolic associations in religion, mythology, superstition and philosophy. The seven classical planets resulted in seven being the number of days in a week. 7 is often considered lucky in Western culture and is often seen as highly symbolic. Unlike Western culture, in Vietnamese culture, the number seven is sometimes considered unlucky.

Electronics is a scientific and engineering discipline that studies and applies the principles of physics to design, create, and operate devices that manipulate electrons and other electrically charged particles. It is a subfield of physics and electrical engineering which uses active devices such as transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits to control and amplify the flow of electric current and to convert it from one form to another, such as from alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) or from analog signals to digital signals.
Electronic devices have hugely influenced the development of many aspects of modern society, such as telecommunications, entertainment, education, health care, industry, and security. The main driving force behind the advancement of electronics is the semiconductor industry, which in response to global demand continually produces ever-more sophisticated electronic devices and circuits. The semiconductor industry is one of the largest and most profitable sectors in the global economy, with annual revenues exceeding $481 billion in 2018. The electronics industry also encompasses other sectors that rely on electronic devices and systems, such as e-commerce, which generated over $29 trillion in online sales in 2017.
LG Corporation (or LG Group), formerly known as Lucky-Goldstar, is a South Korean multinational conglomerate founded by Koo In-hwoi and managed by successive generations of his family. It is the fourth-largest chaebol (family-run conglomerate) in South Korea. Its headquarters are in the LG Twin Towers building in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul. LG makes electronics, chemicals, household appliances, and telecommunications products and operates subsidiaries such as LG Electronics, Zenith, LG Display, LG Uplus, LG Innotek, LG Chem, and LG Energy Solution in over 80 countries. According to the “Top 500 Global Brands” released by British consulting firm Brand finance, LG's brand value ranking rose from 90th to 83rd from the previous year.
A sensor is a device that produces an output signal for the purpose of detecting a physical phenomenon.
In the broadest definition, a sensor is a device, module, machine, or subsystem that detects events or changes in its environment and sends the information to other electronics, frequently a computer processor.
Sensors are used in everyday objects such as touch-sensitive elevator buttons (tactile sensor) and lamps which dim or brighten by touching the base, and in innumerable applications of which most people are never aware. With advances in micromachinery and easy-to-use microcontroller platforms, the uses of sensors have expanded beyond the traditional fields of temperature, pressure and flow measurement, for example into MARG sensors.
Analog sensors such as potentiometers and force-sensing resistors are still widely used. Their applications include manufacturing and machinery, airplanes and aerospace, cars, medicine, robotics and many other aspects of our day-to-day life. There is a wide range of other sensors that measure chemical and physical properties of materials, including optical sensors for refractive index measurement, vibrational sensors for fluid viscosity measurement, and electro-chemical sensors for monitoring pH of fluids.
A sensor's sensitivity indicates how much its output changes when the input quantity it measures changes. For instance, if the mercury in a thermometer moves 1 cm when the temperature changes by 1 °C, its sensitivity is 1 cm/°C (it is basically the slope dy/dx assuming a linear characteristic). Some sensors can also affect what they measure; for instance, a room temperature thermometer inserted into a hot cup of liquid cools the liquid while the liquid heats the thermometer. Sensors are usually designed to have a small effect on what is measured; making the sensor smaller often improves this and may introduce other advantages.
Technological progress allows more and more sensors to be manufactured on a microscopic scale as microsensors using MEMS technology. In most cases, a microsensor reaches a significantly faster measurement time and higher sensitivity compared with macroscopic approaches. Due to the increasing demand for rapid, affordable and reliable information in today's world, disposable sensors—low-cost and easy‐to‐use devices for short‐term monitoring or single‐shot measurements—have recently gained growing importance. Using this class of sensors, critical analytical information can be obtained by anyone, anywhere and at any time, without the need for recalibration and worrying about contamination.
Steam is water vapour (water in the gas phase), often mixed with air and/or an aerosol of liquid water droplets. This may occur due to evaporation or due to boiling, where heat is applied until water reaches the enthalpy of vaporization. Steam that is saturated or superheated (water vapor) is invisible; however, wet steam, a visible mist or aerosol of water droplets, is often referred to as "steam".: 6
When liquid water becomes steam, it increases in volume by 1,700 times at standard temperature and pressure; this change in volume can be converted into mechanical work by steam engines such as reciprocating piston type engines and steam turbines, which are a sub-group of steam engines. Piston type steam engines played a central role in the Industrial Revolution and modern steam turbines are used to generate more than 80 % of the world's electricity. If liquid water comes in contact with a very hot surface or depressurizes quickly below its vapour pressure, it can create a steam explosion.
White is the lightest color and is achromatic (having no hue). It is the color of objects such as snow, chalk, and milk, and is the opposite of black. White objects fully reflect and scatter all the visible wavelengths of light. White on television and computer screens is created by a mixture of red, blue, and green light. The color white can be given with white pigments, especially titanium dioxide.
In ancient Egypt and ancient Rome, priestesses wore white as a symbol of purity, and Romans wore white togas as symbols of citizenship. In the Middle Ages and Renaissance a white unicorn symbolized chastity, and a white lamb sacrifice and purity. It was the royal color of the kings of France as well as the flag of monachist France from 1815 to 1830, and of the monarchist movement that opposed the Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War (1917–1922). Greek temples and Roman temples were faced with white marble, and beginning in the 18th century, with the advent of neoclassical architecture, white became the most common color of new churches, capitols, and other government buildings, especially in the United States. It was also widely used in 20th century modern architecture as a symbol of modernity and simplicity.
According to surveys in Europe and the United States, white is the color most often associated with perfection, the good, honesty, cleanliness, the beginning, the new, neutrality, and exactitude. White is an important color for almost all world religions. The pope, the head of the Roman Catholic Church, has worn white since 1566, as a symbol of purity and sacrifice. In Islam, and in the Shinto religion of Japan, it is worn by pilgrims. In Western cultures and in Japan, white is the most common color for wedding dresses, symbolizing purity and virginity. In many Asian cultures, white is also the color of mourning.

Well my old washer and dryer set which was approaching 20 years old and was long overdue to be replaced, So looking around at the different brands and features I decided to go with the new LG Electronics 7.4 cu. ft. White Ultra Large Capacity Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry, Turbo Steam. I was quite impressed with all of the many many features this dryer has. I wanted a large capacity dryer to do large items like bedding…Did not like having to take large bedding items to the local laundromat. This unit matches the new LG Washer which I also got. Have used it a number of times already and was very pleased with the sensor dry technology it has. One of the features this unit has that was also a buying point for me was that it has WiFi. You can download the ThinQ app to your android or apple phone and control it from your phone. It was pretty easy to set up/connect with the step by step instructions to get it set up. As of yet I have not used or tried all of the many drying features and capabilities this unit has but am looking forward to trying them out! VERY pleased so far!

This dryer is extremely quiet and it has an abundance of capabilities for drying my clothes. I love it. · The dryer is so quiet I often forget that I’m drying a load of clothes. Because it is so quiet, the WiFi connectivity is very helpful. The dryer sends me a text message when the clothes are dry and the dryer has stopped. · I’ve been able to select the proper drying cycles and operate the dryer without consulting the owner’s manual. The buttons and cycles are sufficiently self-explanatory that I haven’t really needed the manual. For most loads, I use a normal setting, and it dries my clothes quickly and completely. The moisture sensor has worked very well for me when I’m drying clothes of the same weight. For instance, when drying just sheets, the dryer has stopped as soon as the sheets are dry without over drying them. · One of the more interesting features is the blue LED that illuminates the inside of the drum when I turn on the dryer. The blue light gives the dryer a high-tech look that compliments the sleek black finish. The LED turns off when the door is closed and the drying cycle begins or, if I do nothing, the light will turn off automatically after four minutes. · I’ve used the steam functionality a few times. There are steam cycles that can be used to refresh clothes by reducing odors and to make heavily wrinkled clothes easier to iron. There is also a Reduce Static option that injects steam late in the drying cycle to reduce the static electricity caused by dry fabrics rubbing together. I’ve used the Steam Fresh cycle on shirts that were wrinkled and I’ve found that it does make it easier to press out the wrinkles. · Bottom line: The LG Electronics 7.4 cu. ft. electric dryer with Sensor Dry and Turbo Steam is an expensive, top-of-the-line dryer with a lot of options that performs well. With its black finish and rose gold accents, it is considerably more attractive than the typical dryer. · Made in Korea.

This is a nice upgrade from my older dryer. Has a very large drum to hold a lot of laundry or bulky bedding easily. The auto moisture sensing is nice a d adjusts dry time accordingly. Once the app on your Philmont is set up, it automatically tells you how long is left in the dry cycle and sends a notification when the dryer is done. This is a very nice feature that I like since we sometimes wouldn’t hear our old dryer finish and close would sit for half the day before we remembered. The only down side I see so far is the directions to link the dryer to the home wifi router is not clear at all. I had to Google to find videos which were of no help and finally found a forum that told how to do it properly. Works great now.

This is one amazing dryer. I had a friend ask me what on earth it could do that her old one (or my old one for that matter) couldn’t do. Well, it can continue to tumble the clothes for about 3 hours once every few minutes to keep them from wrinkling. It can steam out wrinkles. it senses when things are dry and has more cycles than I ever thought of. And it’s WiFi. Not sure if I’ll use the WiFi, but it’s pretty cool.

I got this dryer to replace a generic whirlpool I have had for around 13 years. The old dryer worked well enough, but I had replaced a couple of parts on it and we wanted something with a few more features that would still hold a large amount of laundry. This dryer has been great over the first 5 days. INSTALL: The delivery went well and I installed the power cord, hose for steam feature, and exhaust duct myself. The install was typical for a dryer save for the water connection for the steam. I didn’t think about needing the extra appliance hose and had to make a run to get the right hoses. The dryer came with a plastic Y split, but did not include any hoses. For the install you will need a short hose to go from the wall to the Y and then a longer hose to go from the Y to the dryer (in addition to the hose you likely already have for the washer). Knowing I needed two hoses I could not find a short hose to connect the Y so I purchased a two pack of normal hoses so I have some extra length, but it is all hidden behind the dryer. The electrical was straight-forward with a simple removal of a cover plate, put the cord through a hole, attach the wire ends, and then attach the cord safety clamp in the pass through hole. The duct work is setup for rear exit and was easy to install, but I may change it to the side exit as that will fit my set up better. Lastly, we changed the direction of the door opening, it was delivered set up to open with a right side hinge, but we wanted it to open to the left. This switch required the removal of 4 total screws and then to put those screws back in with the door and the door latch on opposite sides from their start. Overall the set up was quick and easy with good directions. If you are comfortable following directions this is not a hard install to do. WIFI and APP: So this dryer is part of the LG ThinQ lineup so we downloaded the ThinQ app and connected the dryer to our wifi. This process was pretty easy and we did the online registration at the same time for an extended warranty. So far we have only used the app for it’s alert that the dryer is done, but might use the remote start feature in the future and I am hoping the air flow diagnostic works to let me know when the dryer vent is not flowing optimally. USE: So far this dryer has worked great. Our old dryer was used mostly in the timer format because the sensors did not always work properly. This dryer we have used for 5 days now and with a family of 5 that has equated to around 7 or 8 uses. We have used many of the settings and not the timer which has been a great change by itself. So far we have used the normal, delicates, perm. press, and towels settings. We have also used the reduce static option and felt like it worked well to reduce the normal static for this dry time of year. We were especially happy that the towels signaled they were done more quickly than our old dryer and were actually completely dry. The one negative we can say right now is that there are so many options we are going to need to look through the manual or online information to learn more about what we can do. Overall this has been a great addition to our laundry room and I really like getting the notifications on my phone when the dryer is done. We don’t have to try and listen for a buzzer and we can easily remember to grab the clothes when we get home or send a kid to the laundry room to get it.

I absolutely love this LG Ultra Large Capacity Steam Dryer! I do advise reading the instructions before using the machine. I did, but there’s questions that I still have, so I keep the instruction manual handy at all times. There are so many options available for drying, that I’ve dubbed it, The Ultimate Dream Dryer! LOL. You can use this machine to dry anything from delicates to bathroom throw rugs. My dryer is the color black steel and very nice looking. If you’re in the market for a new dryer, I highly recommend this LG!

This LG 7.4 CU. FT. electric dryer has many features including two steam functions, “steam fresh” and “steam sanitary”. Other cycles can be customized to your needs and the capacity is huge! WiFi and remote start are also included but I’m not sure why someone would use the remote start feature. We’ve done several loads in it with good results except when drying things like towels or denim. Those items require more time or a smaller load to dry efficiently. We’re very impressed with this machine and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade. Note: The steam functions require a separate water hose connection, not included, but it did come with a Y adapter to connect to the washer water line.
