Bought this for my 2 year old grandson but his 5 year old brother loved them. We made every animal in the book then switched them around to make up our own silly animals. The 2 year old enjoys dumping them out and throwing them but he may start playing more appropriately when he gets a little older. They do throw well too.

I really like this LEGO set because it is easy for toddler and small kids. I love LEGO block and wanted to start my kids on them at a young age, I bought a LEGO classic and they hated it because it was so hard. I was a little disappointed, then I found this one on sale around Black Friday and I bought it. Now my kids love it and they make all the animals and all kinds of stuff for me. They also started to use the regular LEGO blocks as well, but they prefer this one. I would recommend it as a starter set for every kid. It makes them so creative.
