Lauren is mostly a feminine given name. The name's meaning may be "laurel tree", "sweet of honor", or "wisdom". It is derived from the French name Laurence, a feminine version of Laurent, which is in turn derived from the Roman surname Laurentius.

Although originally a male name, the name's popularity with females has been widely attributed to actress Lauren Bacall (born Betty Joan Perske). It is a popular name in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. In the U.S. the name ranked #170 in 2018 and #148 in 2017. The name was most popular in the U.S. in the 1980s and 1990s.

Ralph (pronounced or ) is a male name of English origin, derived from the Old English Rædwulf and Old High German Radulf, cognate with the Old Norse Raðulfr (rað "counsel" and ulfr "wolf").

The most common forms are:

  • Ralph, the common variant form in English, which takes either of the given pronunciations.
  • Rafe, variant form which is less common; this spelling is always pronounced
  • Raif, a very rare variant.
  • Ralf, the traditional variant form in Dutch, German, Swedish, and Polish.
  • Ralfs, the traditional variant form in Latvian.
  • Raoul, the traditional variant form in French.
  • Raúl, the traditional variant form in Spanish.
  • Raul, the traditional variant form in Portuguese and Italian.

  • Rádhulbh, the traditional variant form in Irish.

Wool is the textile fiber obtained from sheep and other mammals, especially goats, rabbits, and camelids. The term may also refer to inorganic materials, such as mineral wool and glass wool, that have some properties similar to animal wool.

As an animal fiber, wool consists of protein together with a small percentage of lipids. This makes it chemically quite distinct from cotton and other plant fibers, which are mainly cellulose.

Love it! Great quality, stylish and warm for fall season. I am typically a size M and I got a size 6. The fit is just perfect for me. Highly recommend this coat.

I’ve been on the hunt for a classic camel coat for a few seasons now. I wanted something that was menswear inspired. When I saw this one online I jumped on it. So glad I did, its absolutely beautiful. I’ve worn it non-stop, looks great over just about everything. I got a size 10, which fits my 5’8″ 140lbs frame perfectly. I get compliments on it all the time and will be wearing it non-stop. ***It has pockets they’re just sewn shut to help protect its shape. This is typical for tailored items, for those of you returning it for that reason too bad, the pockets are huge and great!

I bought this coat in the gray color. It is classic and fits well, but the pockets are too high on the coat. I am 5’10”, so on someone shorter that me the pockets would probably be at their waist. It is a tad bit slim in the shoulders ( I do not have wide shoulders), but overall, it is a nice fitting coat. I purchased 1 size up from my normal size and I am happy that I did so I can wear this coat with winter clothes underneath.

Will have to return, as the fit wasn’t quite as described. This coat is much longer than pictured! I’m 5′ 4″, 120 lbs, and I ordered a size 4 petite. I don’t always need petites in tops and sweaters, but it’s a must for my coats! Otherwise, the sleeves are too long and go down to my fingers, the shoulder seams are so far off my shoulders that the coat will look ill fitted. This jacket was a perfect fit in that regard, both the arms and shoulders fit perfectly! Where the description is totally off is on the length – or it was in my case. I was searching for a coat that would be long enough to cover some of my longer tunic tops, but not so long that it wouldn’t pair well with tall boots. I made sure to read every description for every coat in detail and the reviews as well! I would’ve given more merit to the 2 reviews that said it was too long, but they only mentioned their height – not if they ordered a regular or petite! This states a size 8 petite is 34″ in length and the picture of the model shows the coat length to hit at mid thigh at the longest. So, with both the description and the picture, this seemed to be exact length I was looking for. That’s why I was so surprised that even in the petite size, it came down very close to my knees! It looked more like a knee length trench coat – not even close to the look pictured here! The material seemed to be nice and felt fine, I knew it wasn’t 100% wool when I ordered it. But, it doesn’t feel cheap to me and at the Black Friday sale price, it was a great deal! It seemed warm, although I didn’t wear it outside, I could still tell it was a good weight. Had the length not been so much longer than shown, the fit overall was very good. I felt it was a good blend of “loose enough for thick sweaters” without the “hangs too loose or makes me look bigger than I am” – which isn’t an easy find! I didn’t find it to be shapeless as some reviews had stated. It’s not extremely close fitted, but it doesn’t look like a boyfriend style coat! ALSO PLEASE KNOW THE POCKETS ARE NOT FAKE – they’re simply sewn with stitches to keep their shape until someone purchases it. Which is like every other coat of a wool/wool blend type I’ve purchased! One pocket did seem to be sewn with closer stitches than the other, but I could tell the pockets were real. I thought they were an appropriate and comfortable height for me. I hate pockets that are really obvious, so the fact that I liked the placement was surprising to me. It does state that the buttons are stamped with “Lauren”, but the picture with the best view of the buttons is on the camel colored coat. On those light colored buttons, it didn’t seem to be very noticeable. However, on the black coat, it stood out more than I expected as the buttons are so much darker! It’s not glaringly obvious, and may not bother others at all! I just personally didn’t like it. Obviously, my reason to return is because it was much longer on me than described or pictured! Had the length been right, I don’t know if the buttons would be a deal breaker, since it was such a good price. But, I’m not positive…I’m just picky and I know it would’ve bothered me. Others who might not like labels or brand names being displayed may find that helpful. From afar, it’s not noticeable. But, if I were standing in front of someone, close enough to be having a conversation, I believe they’d be easy to read. I wish it had worked out, it was ALMOST the one…but I’ll continue my search! SIDE NOTE – it was perfectly packaged and came out of the box without a single crease or wrinkle! Nordstrom did a great job in how they packaged it! When these type of coats are shipped boxed, you’re sometimes stuck at the dry cleaners to get the wrinkles out before you can wear them. Definitely not a worry in this case at all! Instead I ended up trying to get it back in the box as close to how it came so I wouldn’t mess it up!

I’ve looked for a classic style camel coat, single breasted style. I found only two sizes left in store. The larger one fit. I am very happy with the cut which is flattering for a large busted girl. There is slight fitted seaming in the back and from the side it isn’t huge like some of the reviews stated. Also has a nice lining. Very good quality for this price!
