Bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology standard that is used for exchanging data between fixed and mobile devices over short distances and building personal area networks (PANs). In the most widely used mode, transmission power is limited to 2.5 milliwatts, giving it a very short range of up to 10 metres (33 ft). It employs UHF radio waves in the ISM bands, from 2.402 GHz to 2.48 GHz. It is mainly used as an alternative to wired connections to exchange files between nearby portable devices and connect cell phones and music players with wireless headphones.

Bluetooth is managed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which has more than 35,000 member companies in the areas of telecommunication, computing, networking, and consumer electronics. The IEEE standardized Bluetooth as IEEE 802.15.1 but no longer maintains the standard. The Bluetooth SIG oversees the development of the specification, manages the qualification program, and protects the trademarks. A manufacturer must meet Bluetooth SIG standards to market it as a Bluetooth device. A network of patents applies to the technology, which is licensed to individual qualifying devices. As of 2021, 4.7 billion Bluetooth integrated circuit chips are shipped annually. Bluetooth was first demonstrated in space in 2024, an early test envisioned to enhance IoT capabilities.

Massage is the rubbing or kneading of the body's soft tissues. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain. In European countries, a person professionally trained to give massages is traditionally known as a masseur (male) or masseuse (female). In the United States, these individuals are often referred to as "massage therapists". In some provinces of Canada, they are called "registered massage therapists."

In professional settings, clients are treated while lying on a massage table, sitting in a massage chair, or lying on a mat on the floor. There are many different modalities in the massage industry, including (but not limited to): deep tissue, manual lymphatic drainage, medical, sports, structural integration, Swedish, Thai and trigger point.

I was gifted the Hypervolt Plus for my birthday, and have used it every day since. I use it in the morning, while drinking coffee and getting ready for run- it’s the best way to start the day. The percussion levels are intense so I use it on setting three for a deep tissue massage therapy when I’m sore. I’ve gifted three since then.

My husband was thrilled to receive this Hypervolt for the holidays. He uses it daily and it makes a big difference in recovery. I thought the Bluetooth tech would be overkill for a device like this, but the guided routines on the app seem helpful. I use it now too! This is one of those gifts that are initially for them, but end up being useful to everyone in the household! Considering how much use you can get from it, it’s a good value overall.

We are strength trainers and parents of two young kids. I bought this after learning about it a few years ago from various places. This is an incredible device that our entire family loves. It is easy to use and very powerful. We are still figuring out how to use it but this is a solid piece of equipment that works very well. My body feels like it is tingling after using it. Would highly recommend to anyone with tired sore muscles or who is looking for a way to relax after a long day. Wow!
