Dawn is the time that marks the beginning of twilight before sunrise. It is recognized by the appearance of indirect sunlight being scattered in Earth's atmosphere, when the centre of the Sun's disc has reached 18° below the observer's horizon. This morning twilight period will last until sunrise (when the Sun's upper limb breaks the horizon), when direct sunlight outshines the diffused light.

A helix (; pl. helices) is a shape like a cylindrical coil spring or the thread of a machine screw. It is a type of smooth space curve with tangent lines at a constant angle to a fixed axis. Helices are important in biology, as the DNA molecule is formed as two intertwined helices, and many proteins have helical substructures, known as alpha helices. The word helix comes from the Greek word ἕλιξ, "twisted, curved". A "filled-in" helix – for example, a "spiral" (helical) ramp – is a surface called a helicoid.

LUXE is an electro soul and dream pop compilation released via Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. The program was announced on May 3, 2017, with the lead single "One Thing" by Tei Shi. Curated by Adult Swim staff member, Shannon McKnight, the compilation of 15 tracks was released in-full on May 10, 2017.

A mattress is a large, usually rectangular pad for supporting a lying person. It is designed to be used as a bed, or on a bed frame as part of a bed. Mattresses may consist of a quilted or similarly fastened case, usually of heavy cloth, containing materials such as hair, straw, cotton, foam rubber, or a framework of metal springs. Mattresses may also be filled with air or water.

Mattresses are usually placed on top of a bed base which may be solid, as in the case of a platform bed, or elastic, such as an upholstered wood and wire box spring or a slatted foundation. Popular in Europe, a divan incorporates both mattress and foundation in a single upholstered, footed unit. Divans have at least one innerspring layer as well as cushioning materials. They may be supplied with a secondary mattress or a removable "topper". Mattresses may also be filled with air or water, or a variety of natural fibers, such as in futons. Kapok is a common mattress material in Southeast Asia, and coir in South Asia.

Sleep is a state of reduced mental and physical activity in which consciousness is altered and certain sensory activity is inhibited. During sleep, there is a marked decrease in muscle activity and interactions with the surrounding environment. While sleep differs from wakefulness in terms of the ability to react to stimuli, it still involves active brain patterns, making it more reactive than a coma or disorders of consciousness.

Sleep occurs in repeating periods, during which the body alternates between two distinct modes: REM and non-REM sleep. Although REM stands for "rapid eye movement", this mode of sleep has many other aspects, including virtual paralysis of the body. Dreams are a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep.

During sleep, most of the body's systems are in an anabolic state, helping to restore the immune, nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems; these are vital processes that maintain mood, memory, and cognitive function, and play a large role in the function of the endocrine and immune systems. The internal circadian clock promotes sleep daily at night, when it is dark. The diverse purposes and mechanisms of sleep are the subject of substantial ongoing research. Sleep is a highly conserved behavior across animal evolution, likely going back hundreds of millions of years.

Humans may suffer from various sleep disorders, including dyssomnias, such as insomnia, hypersomnia, narcolepsy, and sleep apnea; parasomnias, such as sleepwalking and rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder; bruxism; and circadian rhythm sleep disorders. The use of artificial light has substantially altered humanity's sleep patterns. Common sources of artificial light include outdoor lighting and the screens of electronic devices such as smartphones and televisions, which emit large amounts of blue light, a form of light typically associated with daytime. This disrupts the release of the hormone melatonin needed to regulate the sleep cycle.

Love our helix dawn mattress. We had the midnight before and wanted something firmer. The quality is great and would recommend it to a friend. Not sure if we’ll stay with the dawn or try the slightly less firm model. Can’t speak for the company’s customer service yet.

Way better than expected for being a mail-delivered mattress!

My wife and i gave Helix a try, being first time online-only-mattress customers after looking at reviews and videos. We wanted a mattress that was firm enough for my wife (back-sleeper) and giving enough for me (side sleeper).

We heard that Helix mattresses run slighRead more about review stating Dawn Luxe – Side sleeper approvestly softer than advertised at any given firmness level – which is somewhat true. I am a side sleeper and the Dawn luxe isn’t uncomfortable. I certainly don’t sink into the bed, but it’s by no means a rock in terms of being unforgiving.

The foam layer on top provides just enough give and cushion to make any sleep position comfortable, but it’s ideal for back sleepers.

Helix customer service was extremely fast to respond and answer any questions I had along the way.

I was looking for a new mattress since I was moving into my new house. I did alot of research before I decided to purchase the Helix Dawn Luxe. It is a very heavy mattress, don’t be fooled by the small packaging it comes in. I needed a thicker mattress that would go with my new bed frame and this mattress fit perfectly. The quality is good and it stating Great buy!has helped quite a bit with my back pain. I would say it’s firm enough without feeling like cement but has some softness but you won’t sink in.

Firm and plush, very comfortable! It helped my back to stop hurting and sleep throughout the entire night compared to my old mattress.

Worth every penny. The first time we’ve invested in a good mattress and wishing we had done it sooner. Cannot say enough how happy we are with the quality and comfort.
