A, or a, is the first letter and the first vowel letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, and others worldwide. Its name in English is a (pronounced AY), plural aes.

The lowercase version is often written in one of two forms: the double-storey |a| and single-storey |ɑ|. The latter is commonly used in handwriting and fonts based on it, especially fonts intended to be read by children, and is also found in italic type.

In English, a is the indefinite article, with the alternative form an.

Silver is a chemical element; it has symbol Ag (from Latin argentum 'silver', derived from Proto-Indo-European *h₂erǵ 'shiny, white') and atomic number 47. A soft, white, lustrous transition metal, it exhibits the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and reflectivity of any metal. Silver is found in the Earth's crust in the pure, free elemental form ("native silver"), as an alloy with gold and other metals, and in minerals such as argentite and chlorargyrite. Most silver is produced as a byproduct of copper, gold, lead, and zinc refining.

Silver has long been valued as a precious metal. Silver metal is used in many bullion coins, sometimes alongside gold: while it is more abundant than gold, it is much less abundant as a native metal. Its purity is typically measured on a per-mille basis; a 94%-pure alloy is described as "0.940 fine". As one of the seven metals of antiquity, silver has had an enduring role in most human cultures.

Other than in currency and as an investment medium (coins and bullion), silver is used in solar panels, water filtration, jewellery, ornaments, high-value tableware and utensils (hence the term "silverware"), in electrical contacts and conductors, in specialised mirrors, window coatings, in catalysis of chemical reactions, as a colorant in stained glass, and in specialised confectionery. Its compounds are used in photographic and X-ray film. Dilute solutions of silver nitrate and other silver compounds are used as disinfectants and microbiocides (oligodynamic effect), added to bandages, wound-dressings, catheters, and other medical instruments.

Replaced an American Fridge Freezer that we had for 6 years. This one appears very efficient. The water dispenser is easy to use and the Ice Maker works well. The only tiny drawback is the size of the bins in the fridge door, they are just a little smaller than the previous fridge freezer we had. However this does mean that the shelves and drawers in the fridge are larger than normal. Overall very pleased with this model especially given the price. The AO delivery guys could not have been more helpful.

What a great fridge, great size not to deep. Looks sleek without handles, good silver finish and Loads of space, and ice and water, all for a great price. Very pleased.

Excellent product. I really like the door shelves in the freezer compartment which you can use for the little odds and ends that used to get lost in the drawers of our old freezer. You can easily see the contents of both fridge and freezer and there’s loads of space for everything. And the kids are drinking much more water with the water dispenser! The water dispenser makes a faint “whiny” noise as it dispenses but you soon get used to it. The dispenser is very efficient with no dripping or spilling.

Great fridge freezer, lots of space inside and looks good. Water dispenser doesn’t drip once you release it so no need for a wide drip tray. The auto ice maker inside the freezer is great, plus the cubes don’t stick together. One of the reasons for buying is because it is finger mark resistant and we have small kids, 2 weeks in and our fridge freezer is still shiny and Mark free. Very pleased with this product and would recommend.
