In electrical engineering, a switch is an electrical component that can disconnect or connect the conducting path in an electrical circuit, interrupting the electric current or diverting it from one conductor to another. The most common type of switch is an electromechanical device consisting of one or more sets of movable electrical contacts connected to external circuits.     WE just installed the 22KW/999. The installation crew of 2 were great and had me going in a day. This is the 6th generator I purchased in the last 4 years, all 6 for different houses. They are are for my children’s homes and one rental. No problems with any of them and great service.

    So, I installed my 1st Generac, a 13kw in 2006 and it ran flawlessly until I sold the home in November 2020. I just had my new 22kw installed today. What a difference in technology over the years. I love the wi-fi monitoring. These are true work horses. Super quiet, And, with an aluminum housing, No rust. Also with the engine oil heater, There are no worries of damage from cold oil at start-up. Plus with a seven year warranty, There are no worries. The added valance trim and sleek housing design are great as well. Plus two locks for added security. What more can I say. You cannot go wrong with the Generac whole home standby generators. I highly recommend Generac.

    This is the second 22KW generator that I have purchased. The first one was over 5 years ago and performed flawlessly. I remember one Christmas season the power went out and we were the only ones on the street who had their outdoor lights on. The new unit for our current house is great and I liked that they were able to fit the transfer switch inside our house. Great product and terrific installers.
