0 (zero) is a number representing an empty quantity. Adding 0 to any number leaves that number unchanged. In mathematical terminology, 0 is the additive identity of the integers, rational numbers, real numbers, and complex numbers, as well as other algebraic structures. Multiplying any number by 0 has the result 0, and consequently, division by zero has no meaning in arithmetic.

As a numerical digit, 0 plays a crucial role in decimal notation: it indicates that the power of ten corresponding to the place containing a 0 does not contribute to the total. For example, "205" in decimal means two hundreds, no tens, and five ones. The same principle applies in place-value notations that uses a base other than ten, such as binary and hexadecimal. The modern use of 0 in this manner derives from Indian mathematics that was transmitted to Europe via medieval Islamic mathematicians and popularized by Fibonacci. It was independently used by the Maya.

Common names for the number 0 in English include zero, nought, naught (), and nil. In contexts where at least one adjacent digit distinguishes it from the letter O, the number is sometimes pronounced as oh or o (). Informal or slang terms for 0 include zilch and zip. Historically, ought, aught (), and cipher have also been used.

Twelve or 12 may refer to:

  • 12 (number)
  • December, the twelfth and final month of the year
  • Dozen, a group of twelve

5 (five) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number, and cardinal number, following 4 and preceding 6, and is a prime number.

Humans, and many other animals, have 5 digits on their limbs.

Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The term blue generally describes colours perceived by humans observing light with a dominant wavelength that's between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. Most blues contain a slight mixture of other colours; azure contains some green, while ultramarine contains some violet. The clear daytime sky and the deep sea appear blue because of an optical effect known as Rayleigh scattering. An optical effect called the Tyndall effect explains blue eyes. Distant objects appear more blue because of another optical effect called aerial perspective.

Blue has been an important colour in art and decoration since ancient times. The semi-precious stone lapis lazuli was used in ancient Egypt for jewellery and ornament and later, in the Renaissance, to make the pigment ultramarine, the most expensive of all pigments. In the eighth century Chinese artists used cobalt blue to colour fine blue and white porcelain. In the Middle Ages, European artists used it in the windows of cathedrals. Europeans wore clothing coloured with the vegetable dye woad until it was replaced by the finer indigo from America. In the 19th century, synthetic blue dyes and pigments gradually replaced organic dyes and mineral pigments. Dark blue became a common colour for military uniforms and later, in the late 20th century, for business suits. Because blue has commonly been associated with harmony, it was chosen as the colour of the flags of the United Nations and the European Union.

In the United States and Europe, blue is the colour that both men and women are most likely to choose as their favourite, with at least one recent survey showing the same across several other countries, including China, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Past surveys in the US and Europe have found that blue is the colour most commonly associated with harmony, confidence, masculinity, knowledge, intelligence, calmness, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sadness.

Efficiency is the often measurable ability to avoid making mistakes or wasting materials, energy, efforts, money, and time while performing a task. In a more general sense, it is the ability to do things well, successfully, and without waste.

In more mathematical or scientific terms, it signifies the level of performance that uses the least amount of inputs to achieve the highest amount of output. It often specifically comprises the capability of a specific application of effort to produce a specific outcome with a minimum amount or quantity of waste, expense, or unnecessary effort. Efficiency refers to very different inputs and outputs in different fields and industries. In 2019, the European Commission said: "Resource efficiency means using the Earth's limited resources in a sustainable manner while minimising impacts on the environment. It allows us to create more with less and to deliver greater value with less input."

Writer Deborah Stone notes that efficiency is "not a goal in itself. It is not something we want for its own sake, but rather because it helps us attain more of the things we value."

Sapphire is a precious gemstone, a variety of the mineral corundum, consisting of aluminium oxide (α-Al2O3) with trace amounts of elements such as iron, titanium, cobalt, lead, chromium, vanadium, magnesium, boron, and silicon. The name sapphire is derived from the Latin word sapphirus, itself from the Greek word sappheiros (σάπφειρος), which referred to lapis lazuli. It is typically blue, but natural "fancy" sapphires also occur in yellow, purple, orange, and green colors; "parti sapphires" show two or more colors. Red corundum stones also occur, but are called rubies rather than sapphires. Pink-colored corundum may be classified either as ruby or sapphire depending on the locale. Commonly, natural sapphires are cut and polished into gemstones and worn in jewelry. They also may be created synthetically in laboratories for industrial or decorative purposes in large crystal boules. Because of the remarkable hardness of sapphires – 9 on the Mohs scale (the third-hardest mineral, after diamond at 10 and moissanite at 9.5) – sapphires are also used in some non-ornamental applications, such as infrared optical components, high-durability windows, wristwatch crystals and movement bearings, and very thin electronic wafers, which are used as the insulating substrates of special-purpose solid-state electronics such as integrated circuits and GaN-based blue LEDs. Sapphire is the birthstone for September and the gem of the 45th anniversary. A sapphire jubilee occurs after 65 years.

Steam is water vapor (water in the gas phase), often mixed with air and/or an aerosol of liquid water droplets. This may occur due to evaporation or due to boiling, where heat is applied until water reaches the enthalpy of vaporization. Steam that is saturated or superheated (water vapor) is invisible; however, wet steam, a visible mist or aerosol of water droplets, is often referred to as "steam".: 6

When liquid water becomes steam, it increases in volume by 1,700 times at standard temperature and pressure; this change in volume can be converted into mechanical work by steam engines such as reciprocating piston type engines and steam turbines, which are a sub-group of steam engines. Piston type steam engines played a central role in the Industrial Revolution and modern steam turbines are used to generate more than 80% of the world's electricity. If liquid water comes in contact with a very hot surface or depressurizes quickly below its vapor pressure, it can create a steam explosion.

A system is a group of interacting or interrelated elements that act according to a set of rules to form a unified whole. A system, surrounded and influenced by its environment, is described by its boundaries, structure and purpose and is expressed in its functioning. Systems are the subjects of study of systems theory and other systems sciences.

Systems have several common properties and characteristics, including structure, function(s), behavior and interconnectivity.

Washer most commonly refers to:

  • Washer (hardware), a thin usually disc-shaped plate with a hole in the middle typically used with a bolt or nut
  • Washing machine, for cleaning clothes

Washer may also refer to:

Get a lot of research before upgrading my machine. Found that GE it’s by far the top of the line with additional specs. Got it in a few days ago, has not disappointed. Very quiet and accurate. User-friendly even for those not technology inclined. Mark phone app and smart dispense are a bonus.

I went from a top-loader with an agitator to this front-loader… Night & Day.
There are certain things I miss about my top-loader, but so far I love this washer. It is easy to use, has a lot of cleaning options, I really like the sanitize option.
The venting works well, time will of course tell regarding “smell”. Overall so far so good, I really like the washer and will update to 5 stars if it continues to perform this well with no issues.

This washing machine has met the needs of our large family. I made sure to really use this machine A LOT in the first two weeks we owned it because I was prepared to send it back if it didn’t live up to my expectations. No return was necessary! I love this machine! I have two toddlers and three big kids. The toddlers usually end up with layers of food on their clothes by the end of the day but this machine can get them out. I have had to clean up several diaper blowouts and potty accidents since owning this machine and it could handle all of them–without having to run everything through the wash twice. I can run the machine on the “Normal” setting and everything comes out clean and smelling fresh the first time. I use the Smart Dispense feature, which is really handy for instructing the 10-year-old on how to run a load of laundry. All he has to do is turn the dial to “Normal” and press start. No over-measuring detergent or trying to rinse out the measuring cup. I am able to put my hand wash items into lingerie bags and run the “Delicate” cycle without any damage to my items. Even items washed in cold water come out completely clean almost every time. Only once have I had to wash something a second time, but it was a tricky stain and the fabric required cold water and a delicate cycle. I am also really pleased with how much laundry the machine can handle and still get everything clean. I am able to do laundry less frequently and run fewer loads because it can handle so much. I have not used any of the wireless features and do not really plan to, so I cannot speak to that. I run the UltraFresh Vent System when I am done with laundry for the day and the washer has remained mold- and odor-free. However, I always wipe down the gasket and door with a soft cloth before I run the vent cycle because I noticed that water would form a small puddle at the bottom of the gasket that would still be there when the vent cycle was done. When I do a quick once-over on the gasket and door before I run the vent cycle, everything is dry at the end. Overall, this was a great purchase that has made me look forward to laundry day!

Love love love this machine. The capacity is amazing. The anti microbial everything is superb. Love the attention to detail. The venting system is great… but it runs for more than 8 hours. I just leave the door open. The light goes off eventually.

I love this washer! It holds so many clothes and washes everything very well. The settings are easy to use. I didn’t think I would use the auto dispense feature much, but find myself leaving that on auto all of the time. It dispenses the amount based on size of the load and settings used, so there’s just enough soap each time. The venting feature is fabulous and truly dries the inside of the washer when activated. The self clean cycle is great too! I chose this machine primarily for the siz and the way the door seal is built (nothing can get stuck inside of it and its easy to clean). I haven’t found any downsides to this machine yet.
