A dress (also known as a frock or a gown) is a garment predominantly worn by women or girls consisting of a skirt with an attached bodice (or a matching bodice giving the effect of a one-piece garment). It consists of a top piece that covers the torso and hangs down over the legs. A dress can be any one-piece garment containing a skirt of any length, and can be formal or casual.

A dress can have sleeves, straps, or be held up with elastic around the chest, leaving the shoulders bare. Dresses also vary in color.

The hemlines of dresses vary depending on modesty, weather, fashion or the personal taste of the wearer.

M, or m, is the thirteenth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Its name in English is em (pronounced ), plural ems.

The neck is the part of the body on many vertebrates that connects the head with the torso. The neck supports the weight of the head and protects the nerves that carry sensory and motor information from the brain down to the rest of the body. In addition, the neck is highly flexible and allows the head to turn and flex in all directions. The structures of the human neck are anatomically grouped into four compartments: vertebral, visceral and two vascular compartments. Within these compartments, the neck houses the cervical vertebrae and cervical part of the spinal cord, upper parts of the respiratory and digestive tracts, endocrine glands, nerves, arteries and veins. Muscles of the neck are described separately from the compartments. They bound the neck triangles.

In anatomy, the neck is also called by its Latin names, cervix or collum, although when used alone, in context, the word cervix more often refers to the uterine cervix, the neck of the uterus. Thus the adjective cervical may refer either to the neck (as in cervical vertebrae or cervical lymph nodes) or to the uterine cervix (as in cervical cap or cervical cancer).

S, or for lowercase, s, is the nineteenth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and other latin alphabets worldwide. Its name in English is ess (pronounced ), plural esses.

Tie has two principal meanings:

  • Tie (draw), a finish to a competition with identical results, particularly sports
  • Necktie, a long piece of cloth worn around the neck or shoulders

I saw this near the door on my way out. Thought it looked good. I wasn’t disappointed. Ordered reg & long. Kept the long. I am 5′ 7′. Long had slight edge on reg. Lovely vibrant blue pattern. The waist was in the right place for me. I presume it will wash ok. I will probably hand wash & light spin.

This is the 3rd dress I have bought in this style this summer and I just love this new colour. Previously bought the leopard print and the red. This dress is a slightly heavier material so ideal for the cooler weather with ankle boots as well as summer. Hoping that they’ll be some autumn/winter dresses in this style too, as I find it flattering for the curvier figure.

Bought this today in the Princes Street store in Edinburgh and I just absolutely love it . The colours and fit of the dress are great . Continuing my M and S dress obsession this summer , keep up the good work.
