A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. Facilities provided inside a hotel room may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator, and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a television, and en-suite bathrooms. Small, lower-priced hotels may offer only the most basic guest services and facilities. Larger, higher-priced hotels may provide additional guest facilities such as a swimming pool, a business center with computers, printers, and other office equipment, childcare, conference and event facilities, tennis or basketball courts, gymnasium, restaurants, day spa, and social function services. Hotel rooms are usually numbered (or named in some smaller hotels and B&Bs) to allow guests to identify their room. Some boutique, high-end hotels have custom decorated rooms. Some hotels offer meals as part of a room and board arrangement. In Japan, capsule hotels provide a tiny room suitable only for sleeping and shared bathroom facilities.
The precursor to the modern hotel was the inn of medieval Europe. For a period of about 200 years from the mid-17th century, coaching inns served as a place for lodging for coach travelers. Inns began to cater to wealthier clients in the mid-18th century. One of the first hotels in a modern sense was opened in Exeter in 1768. Hotels proliferated throughout Western Europe and North America in the early 19th century, and luxury hotels began to spring up in the later part of the 19th century, particularly in the United States.
Hotel operations vary in size, function, complexity, and cost. Most hotels and major hospitality companies have set industry standards to classify hotel types. An upscale full-service hotel facility offers luxury amenities, full-service accommodations, an on-site restaurant, and the highest level of personalized service, such as a concierge, room service, and clothes-ironing staff. Full-service hotels often contain upscale full-service facilities with many full-service accommodations, an on-site full-service restaurant, and a variety of on-site amenities. Boutique hotels are smaller independent, non-branded hotels that often contain upscale facilities. Small to medium-sized hotel establishments offer a limited amount of on-site amenities. Economy hotels are small to medium-sized hotel establishments that offer basic accommodations with little to no services. Extended stay hotels are small to medium-sized hotels that offer longer-term full-service accommodations compared to a traditional hotel.
Timeshare and destination clubs are a form of property ownership involving ownership of an individual unit of accommodation for seasonal usage. A motel is a small-sized low-rise lodging with direct access to individual rooms from the car parking area. Boutique hotels are typically hotels with a unique environment or intimate setting. A number of hotels and motels have entered the public consciousness through popular culture. Some hotels are built specifically as destinations in themselves, for example casinos and holiday resorts.
Most hotel establishments are run by a general manager who serves as the head executive (often referred to as the "hotel manager"), department heads who oversee various departments within a hotel (e.g., food service), middle managers, administrative staff, and line-level supervisors. The organizational chart and volume of job positions and hierarchy varies by hotel size, function and class, and is often determined by hotel ownership and managing companies.
"Luxurious" is a song by American singer and songwriter Gwen Stefani from her debut solo studio album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004). Written by Stefani and fellow No Doubt bandmate Tony Kanal, the track contains a sample of the Isley Brothers' 1983 song "Between the Sheets".
In addition to the Isley Brothers sample, the song features use of keyboards, synthesizers, and electric guitars. "Luxurious" is a R&B ballad whose lyrics describe the persona's desire to be rich in love, simultaneously comparing her lover with luxuries. The song also features Stefani's then-husband Gavin Rossdale who opens the song in French.
The song was released as the album's fifth single in October 2005 along with a remix featuring rapper Slim Thug. A music video was also released which featured Slim Thug, as well as the Harajuku Girls. The track received mixed reviews from critics, who generally found it less impressive than the previous singles. It charted within the top 40 in several countries, but had mediocre success overall and was less popular than the previous singles from Love. Angel. Music. Baby.
A millennium (pl. millennia or millenniums) is a period of one thousand years or one hundred decades or ten centuries, sometimes called a kiloannum (ka), or kiloyear (ky). Normally, the word is used specifically for periods of a thousand years that begin at the starting point (initial reference point) of the calendar in consideration and at later years that are whole number multiples of a thousand years after the start point. The term can also refer to an interval of time beginning on any date. Millennia sometimes have religious or theological implications (see millenarianism).
The word millennium derives from the Latin mille, thousand, and annus, year.
A staycation (a portmanteau of "stay" and "vacation"), or holistay (a portmanteau of "holiday" and "stay"), is a period in which an individual or family stays home and participates in leisure activities within day trip distance of their home and does not require overnight accommodation. In the UK, the term has increasingly come to refer to domestic tourism: taking a holiday in one's own country as opposed to traveling abroad, as well as to staying home and participating in leisure activities within day trip distance of home and not requiring overnight accommodation.
Common activities of a staycation include the use of a backyard pool, visits to local parks and museums, and attendance at local festivals and amusement parks. Some staycationers also like to follow a set of rules, such as setting a start and end date, planning ahead, and avoiding routine, with the goal of creating the feel of a traditional vacation.
Staycations achieved popularity in the U.S. during the Great Recession in the late 2000s. In 2020 staycations became common due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The world is the totality of entities, the whole of reality, or everything that exists. The nature of the world has been conceptualized differently in different fields. Some conceptions see the world as unique, while others talk of a "plurality of worlds". Some treat the world as one simple object, while others analyze the world as a complex made up of parts.
In scientific cosmology, the world or universe is commonly defined as "the totality of all space and time; all that is, has been, and will be". Theories of modality talk of possible worlds as complete and consistent ways how things could have been. Phenomenology, starting from the horizon of co-given objects present in the periphery of every experience, defines the world as the biggest horizon, or the "horizon of all horizons". In philosophy of mind, the world is contrasted with the mind as that which is represented by the mind.
Theology conceptualizes the world in relation to God, for example, as God's creation, as identical to God, or as the two being interdependent. In religions, there is a tendency to downgrade the material or sensory world in favor of a spiritual world to be sought through religious practice. A comprehensive representation of the world and our place in it, as is found in religions, is known as a worldview. Cosmogony is the field that studies the origin or creation of the world, while eschatology refers to the science or doctrine of the last things or of the end of the world.
In various contexts, the term "world" takes a more restricted meaning associated, for example, with the Earth and all life on it, with humanity as a whole, or with an international or intercontinental scope. In this sense, world history refers to the history of humanity as a whole, and world politics is the discipline of political science studying issues that transcend nations and continents. Other examples include terms such as "world religion", "world language", "world government", "world war", "world population", "world economy", or "world championship".

Good value for money Nice room and great views, dim sum buffet was really good, variety of food choices for breakfast can be improved. Overall pretty good.

The staffs provided services with great hospitality. Every time when I called the front table by telephone, the staffs picked up the call fast and polite. Our room was clean and tidy. Although we were allocated to lower floor, the harbour view was still good. The all -you -can-eat dim sum lunch was nice. Dim sums were prepared with good quality, the range of dim -sum choices were not too many but acceptable. The breakfast buffet was average.

A very value for money package. The residence club harbour view room is gorgeous. From arriving the door of the hotel, we felt the hospitality of the hotel staff who received us at the door and helped to take our luggage from the taxi. Check in was fast and the staff was very polite. We did spend the $1,000 dining credits for dinner and lunch inside the hotel. The Japanese restaurant was particularly impressive. Overall, we had a very happy stay.

The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. It’s so heart-warming to bring the birthday cake in person. The cleaning sister is also very polite. The price of klook is cheap.

Always eat dim sum, don’t expect too high a surprise. The ocean view room is arranged on the lower floor and the view is ok.

I originally chose the package of New World Millennium Hotel and Marco Polo, but I finally chose the one. It was definitely not a mistake! Book the room a day ago, the hotel arranges chocolate boxes for the boyfriend’s birthday, and there is a staff handwritten card, so warm! (Birthday cake is ordered early) Check-in day is a weekday, check in hotel at 2:00 is not too crowded, the staff is so polite and enjoyable! This time I booked a city room, but the hotel has a free upgrade to the sea view room. When I saw a large floor-to-ceiling glass in the room, and the weather was good, I also saw the sea view, which made me feel so open and comfortable. (The room sees half of the sea view, it’s all right) The rooms are so new and clean, well-designed and modern. The toilet has a bathtub and a bathtub and is very spacious! Most of the TVs are high-definition, and the package includes many movies for free. On the day of check-in, the balloons were filled, and the staff were nice to provide adhesive tape. The hotel helped me delay the check out until 2:00 pm on the next day (I asked the hotel myself), and had breakfast at 6-10 am. The restaurant has large floor-to-ceiling glass, which feels so fresh. There are not many choices for food, such as dim sum, congee, noodles, croissant and bread, etc. The taste is medium and acceptable, but the environment is really superb. As for the location, it is near the New Mandarin Center in Tsim Sha Tsui East. It is convenient and fast. I suggest you go to Hung Hom Station, Exit D, much faster! This staycation is very happy. We are very satisfied with the hotel for couples born in 90s. I regret not choosing Macro Polo (because some of Marco Polo’s facilities are the same as the old decoration), 5-star perfect! Highly recommend to staycation for a day or two!

I am very satisfied with this stay. The hotel staff is professional, courteous and friendly, and the check-in efficiency is high. You don’t have to wait too long. Before check-in, specify the room requirements in advance, the hotel can meet the needs of guests, and also upgrade to the VIP floor, late check out to 2 pm The room is fully equipped, equipped with anti-epidemic supplies, and there is a Bluetooth speaker to listen to songs, and a bathtub and bathtub , I am most satisfied with a warm Japanese toilet board. In cold weather, I feel so warm. The room is large and the sea view is open. You can see the Red Pavilion on the left. The hotel is located in the middle and quiet, and you can buy snacks and snacks at night. Very convenient, next time I will try other packages in the hotel, will definitely stay again.
