10 (ten) is the even natural number following 9 and preceding 11. Ten is the base of the decimal numeral system, the most common system of denoting numbers in both spoken and written language.

Fifteen or 15 may refer to:

  • 15 (number), the natural number following 14 and preceding 16
  • one of the years 15 BC, AD 15, 1915, 2015

6 (six) is the natural number following 5 and preceding 7. It is a composite number and the smallest perfect number.

Black is a color that results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without hue, like white and grey. It is often used symbolically or figuratively to represent darkness. Black and white have often been used to describe opposites such as good and evil, the Dark Ages versus Age of Enlightenment, and night versus day. Since the Middle Ages, black has been the symbolic color of solemnity and authority, and for this reason it is still commonly worn by judges and magistrates.

Black was one of the first colors used by artists in Neolithic cave paintings. It was used in ancient Egypt and Greece as the color of the underworld. In the Roman Empire, it became the color of mourning, and over the centuries it was frequently associated with death, evil, witches, and magic. In the 14th century, it was worn by royalty, clergy, judges, and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets, businessmen and statesmen in the 19th century, and a high fashion color in the 20th century. According to surveys in Europe and North America, it is the color most commonly associated with mourning, the end, secrets, magic, force, violence, fear, evil, and elegance.

Black is the most common ink color used for printing books, newspapers and documents, as it provides the highest contrast with white paper and thus is the easiest color to read. Similarly, black text on a white screen is the most common format used on computer screens. As of September 2019, the darkest material is made by MIT engineers from vertically aligned carbon nanotubes.

Intel Corporation is an American multinational corporation and technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and incorporated in Delaware. Intel designs, manufactures and sells computer components and related products for business and consumer markets. It is considered one of the world's largest semiconductor chip manufacturers by revenue and ranked in the Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations by revenue for nearly a decade, from 2007 to 2016 fiscal years, until it was removed from the ranking in 2018. In 2020, it was reinstated and ranked 45th, being the 7th-largest technology company in the ranking.

Intel supplies microprocessors for most manufacturers of computer systems, and is one of the developers of the x86 series of instruction sets found in most personal computers (PCs). It also manufactures chipsets, network interface controllers, flash memory, graphics processing units (GPUs), field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and other devices related to communications and computing. Intel has a strong presence in the high-performance general-purpose and gaming PC market with its Intel Core line of CPUs, whose high-end models are among the fastest consumer CPUs, as well as its Intel Arc series of GPUs. The Open Source Technology Center at Intel hosts PowerTOP and LatencyTOP, and supports other open source projects such as Wayland, Mesa, Threading Building Blocks (TBB), and Xen.

Intel (Integrated electronics) was founded on July 18, 1968, by semiconductor pioneers Gordon Moore (of Moore's law) and Robert Noyce, along with investor Arthur Rock, and is associated with the executive leadership and vision of Andrew Grove. The company was a key component of the rise of Silicon Valley as a high-tech center, as well as being an early developer of SRAM and DRAM memory chips, which represented the majority of its business until 1981. Although Intel created the world's first commercial microprocessor chip—the Intel 4004—in 1971, it was not until the success of the PC in the early 1990s that this became its primary business.

During the 1990s, the partnership between Microsoft Windows and Intel, known as "Wintel", became instrumental in shaping the PC landscape and solidified Intel's position on the market. As a result, Intel invested heavily in new microprocessor designs in the mid to late 1990s, fostering the rapid growth of the computer industry. During this period, it became the dominant supplier of PC microprocessors, with a market share of 90%, and was known for aggressive and anti-competitive tactics in defense of its market position, particularly against AMD, as well as a struggle with Microsoft for control over the direction of the PC industry.

Since the 2000s and especially since the late 2010s, Intel has faced increasing competition, which has led to a reduction in Intel's dominance and market share in the PC market. Nevertheless, with a 68.4% market share as of 2023, Intel still leads the x86 market by a wide margin. In addition, Intel's ability to design and manufacture its own chips is considered a rarity in the semiconductor industry, as most chip designers do not have their own production facilities and instead rely on contract manufacturers (e.g., AMD and Nvidia).

Memory is the faculty of the mind by which data or information is encoded, stored, and retrieved when needed. It is the retention of information over time for the purpose of influencing future action. If past events could not be remembered, it would be impossible for language, relationships, or personal identity to develop. Memory loss is usually described as forgetfulness or amnesia.

Memory is often understood as an informational processing system with explicit and implicit functioning that is made up of a sensory processor, short-term (or working) memory, and long-term memory. This can be related to the neuron. The sensory processor allows information from the outside world to be sensed in the form of chemical and physical stimuli and attended to various levels of focus and intent. Working memory serves as an encoding and retrieval processor. Information in the form of stimuli is encoded in accordance with explicit or implicit functions by the working memory processor. The working memory also retrieves information from previously stored material. Finally, the function of long-term memory is to store through various categorical models or systems.

Declarative, or explicit memory, is the conscious storage and recollection of data. Under declarative memory resides semantic and episodic memory. Semantic memory refers to memory that is encoded with specific meaning. Meanwhile, episodic memory refers to information that is encoded along a spatial and temporal plane. Declarative memory is usually the primary process thought of when referencing memory. Non-declarative, or implicit, memory is the unconscious storage and recollection of information. An example of a non-declarative process would be the unconscious learning or retrieval of information by way of procedural memory, or a priming phenomenon. Priming is the process of subliminally arousing specific responses from memory and shows that not all memory is consciously activated, whereas procedural memory is the slow and gradual learning of skills that often occurs without conscious attention to learning.

Memory is not a perfect processor, and is affected by many factors. The ways by which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved can all be corrupted. Pain, for example, has been identified as a physical condition that impairs memory, and has been noted in animal models as well as chronic pain patients. The amount of attention given new stimuli can diminish the amount of information that becomes encoded for storage. Also, the storage process can become corrupted by physical damage to areas of the brain that are associated with memory storage, such as the hippocampus. Finally, the retrieval of information from long-term memory can be disrupted because of decay within long-term memory. Normal functioning, decay over time, and brain damage all affect the accuracy and capacity of the memory.

A notebook (also known as a notepad, writing pad, drawing pad, or legal pad) is a book or stack of paper pages that are often ruled and used for purposes such as note-taking, journaling or other writing, drawing, or scrapbooking.

Thin may refer to:

  • a lean body shape. (See also: emaciation, underweight)
  • Thin (film), a 2006 HBO documentary about eating disorders
  • Paper Thin (disambiguation), referring to multiple songs
  • Thin (web server), a Ruby web-server based on Mongrel

A webcam is a video camera which is designed to record or stream to a computer or computer network. They are primarily used in video telephony, live streaming and social media, and security. Webcams can be built-in computer hardware or peripheral devices, and are commonly connected to a device using USB or wireless protocols.

Webcams have been used on the Internet as early as 1993, and the first widespread commercial one became available in 1994. Early webcam usage on the Internet was primarily limited to stationary shots streamed to web sites. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, instant messaging clients added support for webcams, increasing their popularity in video conferencing. Computer manufacturers later started integrating webcams into laptop hardware. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused a shortage of webcams due to the increased number of people working from home.

This is an excellent laptop. Plays my games very smoothly on higher graphics settings. Love the blue color. The screen is very clear. Love that it has Bluetooth. Love that it is so thin. The price was good. Don’t miss the CD tray at all beings as I don’t like to have physical discs, prefer digital. Like that you have the option to add a micro SD card. And the two USB ports and HDMI is enough ports for me.

Nice, an Intel base i7, 8GB ram, decent size SSD, full W10 with a 15″ screen for 300$ ?!? Pre-assemble, look sharp and clean, large and nice fictional digital pad, clear 1080p and it work flawlessly. I didn’t find any hardware conflict or any issue after all updated. That is a deal and I highly recommend-it to every-one. It is a darker shade of blue and have limited connectivity (one HDMI, Two USB3.0, one USB-C no Ethernet RJ45) But the WiFi is fast and give me satisfying speed. Also the battery is not removable, it’s built-in and I don’t see that as an issue. No software issue and it’s not pack of garbage like the HP and other big guy. No conflicting or thing that would slow-it down. Just a simple performing machine. For real, Nice. Oh! and the Keyboard have short stroke, nice feel and it’s a fill keyboard with the numeric pad. It’s probably not like the 3,000$ gaming machine but for 1/10 of the price you got like 80% of there benchmark. A normal user will be more than satisfy with this deal.

Love this computer. I use it mostly leisure but it’s quick and set up was super easy. The only thing I wish it had was a back light on the keyboard, but not a huge deal. I knew this before I purchased it. The price was great since I got it on clearance $329! I would definitely recommend to a friend.

the computer is functioning well, very easy to set up and I’m getting use to new keyboard, is fast downloading and uploading, and system apps working well, easy start up. I was very concerned my package was open when I opened my front door, the large delivery box ,wide open ,however computer box was still sealed, that has not happened before with Walmart deliveries so very concerning to me. Computer seems just as described so far.

As a Mac user this laptop performs as good as an Apple laptop. I gave up on PC a few years ago but once in a while I use a PC just to see how a Windows PC compares to a Mac. This laptop is fast and responsive to the challenge. A good buy. I gave it a 4 for being a PC. I will try to see if I can run OS X on it.

The specs on this laptop for $300.00 are honestly unbeatable at the moment. I was only hesitant because of the brand, but so far so good. If anyone is curious, no, the RAM is not upgradable. There are no free slots for extra sticks and the 8GB is soldered to the motherboard. The M.2 SSD is upgradable though, so that’s at least a plus. The keyboard isn’t the best. I find myself sometimes hitting a key twice for it to finally type. I hate that the zero on the number pad isn’t the wider key setup, so you have to hit it just right with your thumb due to the right arrow key placement. (you can see this if you zoom in on the photos). It was one of those things where I didn’t realize how annoying it would be until I actually used it. The keyboard is also not backlit. The trackpad is massive. Too big, in my opinion. I find myself touching it with my palm as I’m typing and that gets annoying. You can turn the trackpad off by hitting the “FN ESC” keys and just use a mouse. The speakers are on the cheaper sounding end, but the placement is on the top toward the screen, so that’s good. It only offers 2 USB 3.0 options and no USB type C – this is listed in the specs, but I didn’t realize how few options I had for components until later. My fault. Overall, it’s a peppy system. Very good for work from home or students. If you are wanting a cheap casual gaming option, I recommend an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 setup. The integrated Iris Plus 6 graphics just aren’t up to par as something like integrated Radeon Vega graphics that AMD offers.
