Electrolux AB (Swedish: [ɛˈlɛ̂kːtrʊˌlɵks, ɛlɛktrʊˈlɵks]) is a Swedish multinational home appliance manufacturer, headquartered in Stockholm. It is consistently ranked the world's second largest appliance maker by units sold, after Whirlpool.

Steam is water vapour (water in the gas phase), often mixed with air and/or an aerosol of liquid water droplets. This may occur due to evaporation or due to boiling, where heat is applied until water reaches the enthalpy of vaporization. Steam that is saturated or superheated (water vapor) is invisible; however, wet steam, a visible mist or aerosol of water droplets, is often referred to as "steam".: 6

When liquid water becomes steam, it increases in volume by 1,700 times at standard temperature and pressure; this change in volume can be converted into mechanical work by steam engines such as reciprocating piston type engines and steam turbines, which are a sub-group of steam engines. Piston type steam engines played a central role in the Industrial Revolution and modern steam turbines are used to generate more than 80 % of the world's electricity. If liquid water comes in contact with a very hot surface or depressurizes quickly below its vapour pressure, it can create a steam explosion.

Technology is the application of conceptual knowledge to achieve practical goals, especially in a reproducible way. The word technology can also mean the products resulting from such efforts, including both tangible tools such as utensils or machines, and intangible ones such as software. Technology plays a critical role in science, engineering, and everyday life.

Technological advancements have led to significant changes in society. The earliest known technology is the stone tool, used during prehistory, followed by the control of fire—which in turn contributed to the growth of the human brain and the development of language during the Ice Age, according to the cooking hypothesis. The invention of the wheel in the Bronze Age allowed greater travel and the creation of more complex machines. More recent technological inventions, including the printing press, telephone, and the Internet, have lowered barriers to communication and ushered in the knowledge economy.

While technology contributes to economic development and improves human prosperity, it can also have negative impacts like pollution and resource depletion, and can cause social harms like technological unemployment resulting from automation. As a result, philosophical and political debates about the role and use of technology, the ethics of technology, and ways to mitigate its downsides are ongoing.

Titanium is a chemical element; it has symbol Ti and atomic number 22. Found in nature only as an oxide, it can be reduced to produce a lustrous transition metal with a silver color, low density, and high strength, resistant to corrosion in sea water, aqua regia, and chlorine.

Titanium was discovered in Cornwall, Great Britain, by William Gregor in 1791 and was named by Martin Heinrich Klaproth after the Titans of Greek mythology. The element occurs within a number of minerals, principally rutile and ilmenite, which are widely distributed in the Earth's crust and lithosphere; it is found in almost all living things, as well as bodies of water, rocks, and soils. The metal is extracted from its principal mineral ores by the Kroll and Hunter processes. The most common compound, titanium dioxide, is a popular photocatalyst and is used in the manufacture of white pigments. Other compounds include titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4), a component of smoke screens and catalysts; and titanium trichloride (TiCl3), which is used as a catalyst in the production of polypropylene.

Titanium can be alloyed with iron, aluminium, vanadium, and molybdenum, among other elements. The resulting titanium alloys are strong, lightweight, and versatile, with applications including aerospace (jet engines, missiles, and spacecraft), military, industrial processes (chemicals and petrochemicals, desalination plants, pulp, and paper), automotive, agriculture (farming), sporting goods, jewelry, and consumer electronics. Titanium is also considered one of the most biocompatible metals, leading to a range of medical applications including prostheses, orthopedic implants, dental implants, and surgical instruments.

The two most useful properties of the metal are corrosion resistance and strength-to-density ratio, the highest of any metallic element. In its unalloyed condition, titanium is as strong as some steels, but less dense. There are two allotropic forms and five naturally occurring isotopes of this element, 46Ti through 50Ti, with 48Ti being the most abundant (73.8%).

This washer is loaded with features to help make doing laundry easier. I wish I had this when my kids were living at home and laundry was more excessive! It has 9 preset wash cycle options for various laundry types. It has the 15 minute wash for quick loads that don’t have much soil, the steam function for laundry that is more soiled, the sanitize option for reducing allergens and the delicate cycle works great for things I would normally hand wash. The control panel can be used to customize the preset options for soil level, water temperature and spin speed for any type of wash preferences. There are also options for steam, extra rinse, wrinkle release, refresh, delay time and control lock. The stain soak option is great for premixing detergents and water BEFORE the wash cycle starts, therefore eliminating the occasional pod or powder residue on an article of clothing. The machine has a large 4.3 cu. ft. capacity that is capable of washing my king size comforter. The tub is made of stainless steel. The adaptive dispenser allows for liquid detergent, powder detergent, pods, bleach, and fabric softener. It runs very quietly through the various cycles. I have had no issues whatsoever with mold smells that often attributed with front load washers! It is an ENERGY STAR rated washer and also has automatic water level adjustments for smaller loads and therefore less water usage. It also spins out the rinse water very well, which helps reduce the time and energy needed to dry the load. Although I don’t have mine stacked, I like that I have the ability to stack them and additionally the door is reversible. This was an important option, as I would like to remodel the laundry/bathroom next year. The titanium finish washer is very attractive and sleek in appearance, with LED displays and attractive interior lighting. I was able to have the washer/dryer set placed closer to the back wall than my previous laundry set, which gave me a few inches more space in front. I also opted to not get the pedestals, so overall my somewhat small laundry room looks so much more spacious and the washer and dryer actually have a larger wash and dry capacity than my previous set! I am very impressed with the quality of how my clothes come out., the flexibility of all the various wash cycles, the versatility of using different types of laundry soaps, the quietness when doing laundry, the reversible doors and ability to stack them, plus the ENERGY STAR rating has been a complete game changer for doing laundry!

I bought my Electrolux washer/ dryer pair about one month ago. The machines work beautifully! The washer is very quiet. My clothes come out gently rung out and need less drying time. The cost was reasonable even for the pedestal.

Bought a top loader washer from the sheriff of Eureka. broke twice first year. Electrolux side spin washer works great so far! Spin cycle gets the clothes really dry. Not having an agitator keeps clothes from getting twisted up into knots.

Looks beautiful, almost as good as a piece of artwork. A little intimidating at first, but quickly overcame due to its easy and concise operating panel. Easy to load and unload.
