Exercise or workout is physical activity that enhances or maintains fitness and overall health. which is performed for various reasons, including weight loss or maintenance, to aid growth and improve strength, develop muscles and the cardiovascular system, prevent injuries, hone athletic skills, improve health, or simply for enjoyment. Many people choose to exercise outdoors where they can congregate in groups, socialize, and improve well-being as well as mental health.
In terms of health benefits, usually, 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week is recommended for reducing the risk of health problems. At the same time, even doing a small amount of exercise is healthier than doing none. Only doing an hour and a quarter (11 minutes/day) of exercise could reduce the risk of early death, cardiovascular disease, stroke, and cancer.
Sport is a form of physical activity or game. Often competitive and organized, sports use, maintain, or improve physical ability and skills. They also provide enjoyment to participants and, in some cases, entertainment to spectators. Many sports exist, with different participant numbers, some are done by a single person with others being done by hundreds. Most sports take place either in teams or competing as individuals. Some sports allow a "tie" or "draw", in which there is no single winner; others provide tie-breaking methods to ensure one winner. A number of contests may be arranged in a tournament format, producing a champion. Many sports leagues make an annual champion by arranging games in a regular sports season, followed in some cases by playoffs.
Sport is generally recognised as system of activities based in physical athleticism or physical dexterity, with major competitions admitting only sports meeting this definition. Some organisations, such as the Council of Europe, preclude activities without any physical element from classification as sports. However, a number of competitive, but non-physical, activities claim recognition as mind sports. The International Olympic Committee who oversee the Olympic Games recognises both chess and bridge as sports. SportAccord, the international sports federation association, recognises five non-physical sports: chess, bridge, draughts, Go and xiangqi. However, they limit the number of mind games which can be admitted as sports. Sport is usually governed by a set of rules or customs, which serve to ensure fair competition. Winning can be determined by physical events such as scoring goals or crossing a line first. It can also be determined by judges who are scoring elements of the sporting performance, including objective or subjective measures such as technical performance or artistic impression.
Records of performance are often kept, and for popular sports, this information may be widely announced or reported in sport news. Sport is also a major source of entertainment for non-participants, with spectator sport drawing large crowds to sport venues, and reaching wider audiences through broadcasting. Sport betting is in some cases severely regulated, and in others integral to the sport.
According to A.T. Kearney, a consultancy, the global sporting industry is worth up to $620 billion as of 2013. The world's most accessible and practised sport is running, while association football is the most popular spectator sport.

Good quality well built bike. The live classes and leaderboard are great and really motivate you.

Great exercise bike, good level of resistance, just what I wanted. The resistance will work without having to plug it in, you just won’t know what level of resistance it is set to. The flywheel is only 7KG but this is plenty for a smooth ride. It is a heavy bike but the front wheels help to move it around should you need to. Ideally it should have a heart monitor built into the handle bars and the handle bars should be adjustable front to back so knocking a star of for those 2 omissions.

Was never sure about spending so much on a Gym bike for home use but have to say this was an excellent purchase! Sturdy and silent in use which is important for home use! Very stable, easy to assemble and use. I highly recommend this bike that fits in small spaces and offers a great workout.

Echelon bike is absolutely fabulous! Brings a spin class to to your home! fabulous with the app and all the included classes although expensive after a 45 day trial but worth it! Bike very sturdy, resistance v good, good changeable seat position (height, back forward). Equally as good as spin bikes at gym. Love that the app works out exactly calorie burn!

This is a quality item. It’s heavy. Easy to assemble and set up. Very adjustable Extremely quiet. Needs power supply to enable Bluetooth connection to Echelon Fit app. Can use app’s FreeStyle option without a subscription and this lets you see your stats e.g speed, cadence, resistance values when spinning BUT not afterwards. You need to sign up for the minimum subscription to view these (£12/month). Online video classes are only available with more expensive subscriptions.

Superb quality, easy to put together. Only slight niggle is it there is no scale on the resistance setting but at the same time it really isn’t any problem at all. It’s very quiet and smooth in operation. I’m 6’2 and I searched for a bike that would be good for my height and this certainly is good for me.

I am addicted to this echelon bike !! The app is fantastic easy to use it tracks your exercise and gives you access to loads of different spin classes- I love the hills classes. I used to run but my back was hurting this is so much better and I burn more calories !! Love it !

We got this to keep active during isolation/lockdown. I reckon it’s pricey but worth paying for a decent sturdy spin bike. It feels like the spin bikes at the gym. It’s a decent size but quite compact. We bought extra padding for the seat. I would recommend this product.

We bought this as people who have not done cycling or spin classes previously. The design of the bike is great and it’s easy to use. We bought a tablet to use with it and it’s great. The app associated with the bike is good fun and you get a decent free trial with it as well. Only gripe is the seat isn’t the most comfortable but other than that can’t fault it!
