Silver is a chemical element; it has symbol Ag (from Latin argentum 'silver', derived from Proto-Indo-European *h₂erǵ 'shiny, white') and atomic number 47. A soft, white, lustrous transition metal, it exhibits the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and reflectivity of any metal. Silver is found in the Earth's crust in the pure, free elemental form ("native silver"), as an alloy with gold and other metals, and in minerals such as argentite and chlorargyrite. Most silver is produced as a byproduct of copper, gold, lead, and zinc refining.
Silver has long been valued as a precious metal. Silver metal is used in many bullion coins, sometimes alongside gold: while it is more abundant than gold, it is much less abundant as a native metal. Its purity is typically measured on a per-mille basis; a 94%-pure alloy is described as "0.940 fine". As one of the seven metals of antiquity, silver has had an enduring role in most human cultures.
Other than in currency and as an investment medium (coins and bullion), silver is used in solar panels, water filtration, jewellery, ornaments, high-value tableware and utensils (hence the term "silverware"), in electrical contacts and conductors, in specialized mirrors, window coatings, in catalysis of chemical reactions, as a colorant in stained glass, and in specialized confectionery. Its compounds are used in photographic and X-ray film. Dilute solutions of silver nitrate and other silver compounds are used as disinfectants and microbiocides (oligodynamic effect), added to bandages, wound-dressings, catheters, and other medical instruments.
White is the lightest color and is achromatic (having no hue). It is the color of objects such as snow, chalk, and milk, and is the opposite of black. White objects fully reflect and scatter all the visible wavelengths of light. White on television and computer screens is created by a mixture of red, blue, and green light. The color white can be given with white pigments, especially titanium dioxide.
In ancient Egypt and ancient Rome, priestesses wore white as a symbol of purity, and Romans wore white togas as symbols of citizenship. In the Middle Ages and Renaissance a white unicorn symbolized chastity, and a white lamb sacrifice and purity. It was the royal color of the kings of France as well as the flag of monachist France from 1815 to 1830, and of the monarchist movement that opposed the Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War (1917–1922). Greek temples and Roman temples were faced with white marble, and beginning in the 18th century, with the advent of neoclassical architecture, white became the most common color of new churches, capitols, and other government buildings, especially in the United States. It was also widely used in 20th century modern architecture as a symbol of modernity and simplicity.
According to surveys in Europe and the United States, white is the color most often associated with perfection, the good, honesty, cleanliness, the beginning, the new, neutrality, and exactitude. White is an important color for almost all world religions. The pope, the head of the Roman Catholic Church, has worn white since 1566, as a symbol of purity and sacrifice. In Islam, and in the Shinto religion of Japan, it is worn by pilgrims. In Western cultures and in Japan, white is the most common color for wedding dresses, symbolizing purity and virginity. In many Asian cultures, white is also the color of mourning.

We purchased the HP01 as supplemental heat and fan in our RV. It has been perfect for taking the chill off on cool nights and adding a breeze when it’s warm. We’ve also used it on our 3 season porch. We are very pleased with this purchase.

I’m a clean freak. I dust, vacuum, mop our bedroom and entire home weekly. The HP01 is used in our bedroom that has hardwood flooring. Below is pictures of filter replacement. If these pictures don’t sell the product, nothing will. This mighty machine is amazing! Guess what, I’m buying one for our daughter’s bedroom and one for the family/TV room off our kitchen. I own Dyson vacuum that’s is phenomenal. Don’t waste your money buying something cheaper…you get what you pay for!

I have had 2 of the HP01 for several years now.. have absolutely never disappointed me.. Did purchase another smaller version that initially experienced some issues but with wonderful customer support, replacement of the machine was done without hesitation and I have not had any further issues. But noting, wished I had purchased another one of the HP01 vs the smaller version.. for simple fact that the HP01 are work horses.. If you take care of them. Keep them clean, change the filters appropriately.. they will be righteous.

We purchased this air purifier and loved it right away. Going from Hot to Cool Air is easy and felt so much better about the air in our new baby’s room. Unfortunately, it has since stopped working properly. When the heater option is selected it will run for a few seconds and then starts blasting cold air. I am unable to change the setting with the remote or even turn it off manually using the bottom at the bottom. I’ve had to unplug it to get it to stop. Once its plugged in again I can turn on the fan setting and thats all. We’ve had it a few years, but I expected longer life span for its cost. We have several Dyson products and truly love them all. I hope there is a way to fix this.

This product is outstanding. My daughter’s allergies are intense. This purifier is extremely effective and she sleeps better as a result. Heater is excellent. I’m purchasing my 3rd one.
