A daybed is an item of furniture used as a bed as well as for lounging, reclining, and seating in a common room. It may be considered a form of multifunctional furniture. Their frames can be made out of wood, metal, or a combination of wood and metal. They are a cross between a chaise longue, a couch, and a bed.
Daybeds typically feature a back and sides and may, for example, come in twin size (100 cm × 190 cm; 39 in × 75 in). Daybeds often feature a trundle to expand sleeping capacity.
A design is the concept of or proposal for an object, process, or system. The word design refers to something that is or has been intentionally created by a thinking agent, and is sometimes used to refer to the inherent nature of something – its design. The verb to design expresses the process of developing a design. In some cases, the direct construction of an object without an explicit prior plan may also be considered to be a design (such as in arts and crafts). A design is expected to have a purpose within a certain context, usually having to satisfy certain goals and constraints and to take into account aesthetic, functional, economic, environmental, or socio-political considerations. A duet is a musical composition for two performers in which the performers have equal importance to the piece, often a composition involving two singers or two pianists. It differs from a harmony, as the performers take turns performing a solo section rather than performing simultaneously. A piece performed by two pianists performing together on the same piano is a "piano duet" or "piano four hands". A piece for two pianists performing together on separate pianos is a "piano duo".
"Duet" is also used as a verb for the act of performing a musical duet, or colloquially as a noun to refer to the performers of a duet.
A musical ensemble with more than two solo instruments or voices is called a trio, quartet, quintet, sextet, septet, octet, etc.

Well, I have to give it a 4 because everybody ELSE in my family likes it. Even I love the style, the scale and the quality. My complaint is that it is not at comfortable. The foam is very hard. The advertising makes it look as though you will have a queen size sleeping surface when you open it up, but the under-layer is framed in wood and is evenharder than the top. You actually feel the wood frame around the perimeter, so the underside is not really a sleeping surface. Again, the style, the scale and the promise are great. It just seems that with very little effort they could have added a layer for comfort.

We scoured the planet for the perfect “bed” for our guests. It had to look modern, but it also had to squeeze into a small space AND unfold into a queen bed. Bonus that you can also create two California twins. We’re thrilled with our Duet!
