works perfect if you use it with branches you just cut. works on dry too but wouldn’t try to use it on 6in if wood is hard

I have only used it for 30 minutes. Putting it together was hard because some of the bolts were obstructed by other bolts. Checking to insure you have the right amount of oil is extremely hard judge. It started up well and is a very powerful and appears to be an efficient machine.

After watching all the videos I could find and reading reviews, I ordered this, despite the high cost. This thing is VERY heavy; highly recommend a helper to assemble it. Evidently, like all good manufacturers, “upgrades” are made before changes to the promotional materials reflect them. Two examples: tire size has changed from 16.5×6.5-8 to 4.80-8, and the “Emergency Shut Off Bar” has been eliminated. Customer Service explained the tires were a DOT issue, and the bar could shut down the engine if branches hit it during infeed. Customer service answered my call right away. Overall, it was well packed, although I did have a minor area where the paint scraped off on the input chute. Customer service told me the paint is Rust-Oleum Kabota Orange. Aside from the weight making it difficult to maneuver, assembly was pretty straight forward. Only issue was one hole need to be “elongated” to get the pin in. Nothing was said about the two grease fittings either. It took my wife & I about four hours total to completion. Some directions included were different from the “assembly video”; I prefer the video method. First use yesterday (1 hour). Ate up to 2″ branches quickly & easily. It’s loud, so ear muffs needed. My hitch (JD Gator) is low, so needed a floor jack to lift the bar to be able to lock the front tires in place. Chip Deflector is poor design as chips shoot straight up if it’s angled too far down. VERY pleased so far!
