1 (one, unit, unity) is a number, numeral, and glyph. It is the first and smallest positive integer of the infinite sequence of natural numbers. This fundamental property has led to its unique uses in other fields, ranging from science to sports, where it commonly denotes the first, leading, or top thing in a group. 1 is the unit of counting or measurement, a determiner for singular nouns, and a gender-neutral pronoun. Historically, the representation of 1 evolved from ancient Sumerian and Babylonian symbols to the modern Arabic numeral.

In mathematics, 1 is the multiplicative identity, meaning that any number multiplied by 1 equals the same number. 1 is by convention not considered a prime number. In digital technology, 1 represents the "on" state in binary code, the foundation of computing. Philosophically, 1 symbolizes the ultimate reality or source of existence in various traditions.

2 (two) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 1 and preceding 3. It is the smallest and the only even prime number.

Because it forms the basis of a duality, it has religious and spiritual significance in many cultures.

Year 224 (CCXXIV) was a leap year starting on Thursday (link will display the full calendar) of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Iulianus and Crispinus (or, less frequently, year 977 Ab urbe condita). The denomination 224 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years.

3 (three) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 2 and preceding 4, and is the smallest odd prime number and the only prime preceding a square number. It has religious and cultural significance in many societies.

A champion (from the late Latin campio) is the victor in a challenge, contest or competition. There can be a territorial pyramid of championships, e.g. local, regional/provincial/state, national, continental and world championships, and even further (artificial) divisions at one or more of these levels, as in association football. Their champions can be accordingly styled, e.g. national champion, world champion.

Equipment most commonly refers to a set of tools or other objects commonly used to achieve a particular objective. Different jobs require different kinds of equipment.

Gas is one of the four fundamental states of matter. The others are solid, liquid, and plasma. A pure gas may be made up of individual atoms (e.g. a noble gas like neon), elemental molecules made from one type of atom (e.g. oxygen), or compound molecules made from a variety of atoms (e.g. carbon dioxide). A gas mixture, such as air, contains a variety of pure gases. What distinguishes gases from liquids and solids is the vast separation of the individual gas particles. This separation usually makes a colorless gas invisible to the human observer.

The gaseous state of matter occurs between the liquid and plasma states, the latter of which provides the upper-temperature boundary for gases. Bounding the lower end of the temperature scale lie degenerative quantum gases which are gaining increasing attention. High-density atomic gases super-cooled to very low temperatures are classified by their statistical behavior as either Bose gases or Fermi gases. For a comprehensive listing of these exotic states of matter, see list of states of matter.

Wood is a structural tissue found in the stems and roots of trees and other woody plants. It is an organic material – a natural composite of cellulose fibers that are strong in tension and embedded in a matrix of lignin that resists compression. Wood is sometimes defined as only the secondary xylem in the stems of trees, or more broadly to include the same type of tissue elsewhere, such as in the roots of trees or shrubs. In a living tree it performs a support function, enabling woody plants to grow large or to stand up by themselves. It also conveys water and nutrients between the leaves, other growing tissues, and the roots. Wood may also refer to other plant materials with comparable properties, and to material engineered from wood, woodchips, or fiber.

Wood has been used for thousands of years for fuel, as a construction material, for making tools and weapons, furniture and paper. More recently it emerged as a feedstock for the production of purified cellulose and its derivatives, such as cellophane and cellulose acetate.

As of 2020, the growing stock of forests worldwide was about 557 billion cubic meters. As an abundant, carbon-neutral renewable resource, woody materials have been of intense interest as a source of renewable energy. In 2008, approximately 3.97 billion cubic meters of wood were harvested. Dominant uses were for furniture and building construction.

Wood is scientifically studied and researched through the discipline of wood science, which was initiated since the beginning of the 20th century.

Observations from first use: 1) Hopper & chipper guards make it difficult or impossible to get material to go through. I removed both. Big improvement on chipper, but material still jammed in the hopper or wouldn’t catch the cutter to be pulled through. Welded nuts at the base of the chute, that allow it to be bolted to the base unit, stick out and interfere with material flow. 2) Output chute clogged up when using the bag–I suspect I will need to remove the deflector to use the bag. 3) Shredding output wasn’t impressive–often chunks of branches exited out the chute. 4) Easy start, ran well. I’m glad I bought this. I doubt any other brand/model in this price range would have done any better. It’s a shame, though, that removing the feeder safety guards is the only way for this chipper shredder to function as advertised.

I always have a pile of branches, twigs, woody garden waste, etc. This chipper/shredder is a great solution for daily/weekly/monthly use.

This was very easy to set up. I have lots of branches to chip. One great thing is my wife likes it as she can mulch leaves. Works as advertised. You should only chip dry wood.

I use my 3″ chipper for my small Canadian maintenance business. From landscape trimming and cleanups this machine saves time and space by reducing the appropriate debris into usable wood mulch that we try to reincorporate. I had a small issue with a broken part and customer service took care of it quickly and respectfully. Thanks CHAMPION!!

Awesome, it was assembled already at Home Depot Great Falls, MT. We have been contemplating renting every-time or buying. Thank you.

Received chipper as Fathers day gift. Put it together today, was not hard to assemble, but was missing two nuts for the handle. Added oil and fuel, fired right up on first pull. Not to hard to pull either. Ran a few sticks through it just to see how it would do, and was pleased with the results. Looking forward to putting it through it’s paces later on.
