A floor is the bottom surface of a room or vehicle. Floors vary from simple dirt in a cave to many layered surfaces made with modern technology. Floors may be stone, wood, bamboo, metal or any other material that can support the expected load.

The levels of a building are often referred to as floors, although sometimes referred to as storeys.

Floors typically consist of a subfloor for support and a floor covering used to give a good walking surface. In modern buildings the subfloor often has electrical wiring, plumbing, and other services built in. As floors must meet many needs, some essential to safety, floors are built to strict building codes in some regions.

The world is the totality of entities, the whole of reality, or everything that exists. The nature of the world has been conceptualized differently in different fields. Some conceptions see the world as unique, while others talk of a "plurality of worlds". Some treat the world as one simple object, while others analyze the world as a complex made up of parts.

In scientific cosmology, the world or universe is commonly defined as "the totality of all space and time; all that is, has been, and will be". Theories of modality talk of possible worlds as complete and consistent ways how things could have been. Phenomenology, starting from the horizon of co-given objects present in the periphery of every experience, defines the world as the biggest horizon, or the "horizon of all horizons". In philosophy of mind, the world is contrasted with the mind as that which is represented by the mind.

Theology conceptualizes the world in relation to God, for example, as God's creation, as identical to God, or as the two being interdependent. In religions, there is a tendency to downgrade the material or sensory world in favor of a spiritual world to be sought through religious practice. A comprehensive representation of the world and our place in it, as is found in religions, is known as a worldview. Cosmogony is the field that studies the origin or creation of the world, while eschatology refers to the science or doctrine of the last things or of the end of the world.

In various contexts, the term "world" takes a more restricted meaning associated, for example, with the Earth and all life on it, with humanity as a whole, or with an international or intercontinental scope. In this sense, world history refers to the history of humanity as a whole, and world politics is the discipline of political science studying issues that transcend nations and continents. Other examples include terms such as "world religion", "world language", "world government", "world war", "world population", "world economy", or "world championship".

I purchased 2 Cell Alphas several months ago. The setup was almost seamless. I ran into some glitches that were resolved quickly by a text exchange with support. I absolutely love the deep, thumping and accurate bass and the very live and immersive sound. The app enables you to move the sound around your room and change how you want your music to appear. Certainly very, very wonderful. I decided to purchase a third Cell to really create a phenomenal immersion in music. This is were my 4, rather than 5 star rating comes in. I haven’t yet been able to get all 3 Cells working at the same time. I have been in contact with support and they have been diligent in helping me resolve this, but we still haven’t figure out why the 3 won’t come online together. I know when this is resolved, I will gladly rate this as 5+ stars because the sound is very open and surrounds you with bright, lively music that you can almost touch and that has a very open and large soundstage. Hopefully my 5 star rating will be forthcoming soon.

I had read about the Syng Cell Alpha for over a year as reported by the Financial Times. Months later I finally read another article that piqued my interest. Once I saw a photo of the speaker, I felt that it would fit in with my FLAC high resolution music collection.

The sound of the speaker is utterly unique. It covers the highs, lows and mid-range. In addition, it provides the room with a spacious sound that goes beyond the stereo. It is spacious and 3D. At times the sound feels in front of you and at other times away. It is difficult to describe in words.

    I am satisfied with it.

I have not experienced sound like this outside of a highly auditorially designed space (like a night club); our family was brought nearly to tears as we took turns queuing up our favorite music and hearing layers upon layers of sound. The floor stand is also extremely solid, I bumped into it trying to plug the lamp in and it did not move.

My husband loves it so much and can’t get enough of its sleekness and rich spacious sound. I think the only bummer is that it lacks bluetooth to microsoft laptops etc. I’m sure that’ll change in the future though.
