Xbox is a video gaming brand that consists of five home video game consoles, as well as applications (games), streaming service Xbox Cloud Gaming, and online services such as the Xbox network and Xbox Game Pass. The brand is produced by Microsoft Gaming, a division of Microsoft.

The brand was first introduced in the United States in November 2001, with the launch of the original Xbox console. The Xbox branding was formerly, from 2012 to 2015, used as Microsoft's digital media entertainment brand replacing Zune. In 2022, Microsoft expanded its gaming business and reorganized Xbox to become part of its newly formed Microsoft Gaming division. Under Microsoft Gaming, Xbox's first-party publishers are Xbox Game Studios, ZeniMax Media (Bethesda Softworks), and Activision Blizzard (Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, and King), who own numerous studios and successful franchises.

The original device was the first video game console offered by an American company after the Atari Jaguar stopped sales in 1996. It reached over 24 million units sold by May 2006. Microsoft's second console, the Xbox 360, was released in 2005 and has sold 86 million units as of October 2021. The third console, the Xbox One, was released in November 2013 and has sold 58 million units. The fourth line of Xbox consoles, the Xbox Series X and Series S, were released in November 2020. The head of Xbox is Phil Spencer, who succeeded former head Marc Whitten in late March 2014.

I really enjoy the console and was able to bring games from my External hard drive to the console from xbox one with ease. don’t listen to the guys who say “PS5 is better” or those who gave 1 stars before it even released. Buy the console you want and one that you’d prefer.

A very great budget next-gen console that is good enough to play some next and current-gen on but if you’re planning to play a lot of next-gen games, this one should last you to more games are released next year. It might even be good to hold you for a year. I think once more games come out next fall, you’ll need to upgrade and maybe keep this one in the living room.

I didn’t really think that this console was gonna be it but this is one of the most coolest console that I ever had.

This consol was extremely underestimated in videos ive seen comparing the two consoles. If you have a gaming monitor thats not 4k this is the console for you. I got my xbox series S in store yesterday and I was super excited, I played battlefield 1 on the new console and the picture and gaming quality far exceeded my expectations. The picture was super good, and in game quality was far exceeded beyond what other reviewed on YouTube. Don’t have a 4k panel for the console no problem just get a gaming monitor and you will be amazed be what this console can do. It also fits a very small spaces, and for those with pc this console is great because it doesn’t take up alot of space on your desk.

compact and easy to up and use. With game pass and the price this is the perfect combo for next generation start.

As alike the showcase teasers, great load times, new UI, half size of One S, crazy clean graphics… it’s a high tier product for bench gamers, literally. Downside, its primarily a beta-like progress of whole user experience events, such as the fan being too slow.

If you play a lot of games and care about 4K resolution then get the X. If you don’t play a lot of games and only rotate between 2-4 games and dont care for 4K resolution then this bad boy is for you, the S still runs at 1440p so even without 4K the graphics and gameplay are really crisp. I was on PS4 last for last gen then I made the switch to Xbox for the New Gen, what really sold me on the Series S was the DESIGN the price tag was just the icing on the cake for me.

So fast and small! I can turn it on and be back in game playing in 5 seconds! Game pass Ultimate is fantastic! So impressed with this little machine. Oddly enough since getting it I use it more than my PS5 and I’m normally a Sony fanboy but this is so small, quiet and powerful.

Great unit. Not as good as the Series X, but it’s a much better value. It’s small, making it really easy to transport around if that’s important to you. It’s also really fast, and loads games almost instantly. Definitely worth ever penny in my opinion.
