Once you open the cover, you’ll notice some distinguishing features. The clamps and the underside of the cover have been powder-coated matte black to create a nearly 100 percent black finish. Roll the truck bed cover toward your bulkhead and fasten it in place with the enhanced buckle and strap system when you need to access your gear or drive with tall cargo.
The BAK Revolver X4s is covered with heavy-duty vinyl to give your truck bed excellent weather resistance and provide a smooth, seamless look. When you need to open the cover, a simple string latch allows you to open and operate the cover with one hand. Closing the cover automatically engages the slam latch and rotational rails to provide ample security for your truck bed. The BAK X4s is made from high quality materials. The cover is well finished and fits precisely. I cannot believe the fit and finish of the BAK X4s for the price. My daughter and I took our time and installed it on her 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat in about an hour. Our biggest struggle was clearing two screw holes in the bed of Ford factory installed bedliner material. The vehicle specific instructions were easy to follow and spot on. I have a canister based rolling cover on my F-150 and had I known of the BAK X4s, I would have purchased it for around one third the price and not sacrificed bed capacity!
