Universal Serial Bus (USB) is an industry standard that allows data exchange and delivery of power between many types of electronics. Each specification sub-version supports different signaling rates from 1.5 and 12 Mbit/s total in USB 1.0 to 80 Gbit/s (in each direction) in USB4. USB also provides power to peripheral devices; the latest versions of the standard extend the power delivery limits for battery charging and devices requiring up to 240 watts (USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)). Over the years, USB(-PD) has been adopted as the standard power supply and charging format for many mobile devices, such as mobile phones, reducing the need for proprietary chargers.

I have an expansion dock for my MacBook that allows a 4K monitor and multiple USB devices to share one USB-C port on the MacBook, as well as provide AC power over the same single port. Despite the claims of the expansion dock manufacturer (Note: not a Belkin device), the USB-C cable they provided to connect the dock to the MacBook created persistent video sync problems with the 4K monitor. After months of frustration, I purchased this Belkin cable which immediately resolved all video sync problems. I recommend it highly to anyone using a similar configuration or needing a high quality, high performance USB-C cable.

I picked up this cable from Best Buy to connect my Macbook Pro to a Brydge Stone Hub. It does exactly what I needed it to and the length is great. I have not tested the claimed speeds but I have no complaints about the amount and speed of data I can transfer over it.

Virtually the only product that will charge your device (60w) and provide alternate mode over displayport under moderate use. Great for most laptops with usb-c passthrough ports. Most other cables will claim the same specifications, but they will not work.
