I’m not sure who came up with the 12″ max log diameter, but I’ve split some monster logs with my 25 ton running it vertical. Nothing stops this thing, and the cycle time of the ram is faster than the 35+ ton machines. This thing is a work horse…..one if the better machines that I own.

Built it by myself in my garage after the Delivery support Man, assisted and gave it to me in sections out of the crate. “BIG CRATE” Takes time, balance, and Gravity. Get that pivot bolt in place, and your good! Put your mind to it and you can do it all by yourself. Just don’t have anything around that the I-Beam/Ram can crash down on, and your good. This machine is awesome !!!! started up on the 1st pull. You can have it assembled at the store? But I saved doing it myself and didn’t have to do anything but order it online to be delivered to my place. Plus, I now know what/ where/ how, all the section work.

Assembly was easy-good instruction manual. Splitter works great on huge Live Oak logs. Easy to operate but could be a little quieter. You definitely need hearing protection. Overall, a great workhorse that has handled whatever I put in it.
