Built in Greeneville, TN, The John Deere S100 Riding Lawn Tractor is the most affordable 42 in. deck model of the 100 Series line up. The ride is comfortable, with an ergonomic design, adjustable controls and a 11 in. heat-resistant seat. The S100 also features a hydrostatic transmission, and side-by-side foot pedals for easy operation. The 42 in. Edge Cutting System is time-tested, proven to offer superior cut quality and can easily be equipped to bag or mulch. The John Deere branded single cylinder engine is 17.5 HP – plenty of power for up to 1 acre.

Bought this machine in 2021 and no issues! For the money this is an amazing machine! Only 19+ hours but it starts, runs and cuts perfectly! Came with the mower and double bagger with mulching blades, out the door, a little over $1300. After cleaning and scratch removal and a good waxing, it’s really sharp. Debated on the 100vs120, a little more hp with 120, but not needed. This mower is put together right, with care, my last one! Highly recommended!
