Running is a method of terrestrial locomotion by which humans and other animals move rapidly on foot. Running is a gait with an aerial phase in which all feet are above the ground (though there are exceptions). This is in contrast to walking, where one foot is always in contact with the ground, the legs are kept mostly straight, and the center of gravity vaults over the stance leg or legs in an inverted pendulum fashion. A feature of a running body from the viewpoint of spring-mass mechanics is that changes in kinetic and potential energy within a stride co-occur, with energy storage accomplished by springy tendons and passive muscle elasticity. The term "running" can refer to a variety of speeds ranging from jogging to sprinting.

Running in humans is associated with improved health and life expectancy.

It is hypothesized that the ancestors of humankind developed the ability to run for long distances about 2.6 million years ago, probably to hunt animals. Competitive running grew out of religious festivals in various areas. Records of competitive racing date back to the Tailteann Games in Ireland between 632 BCE and 1171 BCE, while the first recorded Olympic Games took place in 776 BCE. Running has been described as the world's most accessible sport.

S, or for lowercase, s, is the nineteenth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and other latin alphabets worldwide. Its name in English is ess (pronounced ), plural esses.

A shoe is an item of footwear intended to protect and comfort the human foot. Though the human foot can adapt to varied terrains and climate conditions, it is vulnerable, and shoes provide protection. Form was originally tied to function, but over time, shoes also became fashion items. Some shoes are worn as safety equipment, such as steel-toe boots, which are required footwear at industrial worksites.

Additionally, shoes have often evolved into many different designs, such as high heels, which are most commonly worn by women during fancy occasions. Contemporary footwear varies vastly in style, complexity and cost. Basic sandals may consist of only a thin sole and simple strap and be sold for a low cost. High fashion shoes made by famous designers may be made of expensive materials, use complex construction and sell for large sums of money. Some shoes are designed for specific purposes, such as boots designed specifically for mountaineering or skiing, while others have more generalized usage such as sneakers which have transformed from a special purpose sport shoe into a general use shoe.

Traditionally, shoes have been made from leather, wood or canvas, but are increasingly being made from rubber, plastics, and other petrochemical-derived materials. Globally, the shoe industry is a $200 billion a year industry. 90% of shoes end up in landfills, because the materials are hard to separate, recycle or otherwise reuse.

I bought a pair in mink berry in size 8, and they were perfect! Not only are they beautiful, but I usually have foot pain at the end of the day from all the walking I do around campus, but ever since I started wearing these shoes I haven’t felt it! Such high quality shoes and I can’t wait for the chargefeels <3

I was recently diagnosed with MS which has greatly effected my ability not only to walk, but to enjoy taking care of my body. I can’t run (YET), but I enjoy working out. My other shoes leave me feeling unstable, as if I’ll just fall right out of them. This one hugs me & makes me confident in my stride and workout. They feel made exactly for me!!

I have bought every brand of shoe out there to find one that keeps my thin heel from slipping and supports my high arches while providing extreme comfort under the ball of my foot…and I finally found it. This shoe is everything the reviews say and more. I walk and I do HIIT classes at the gym and this shoe provides the stability and comfort I need for all my different workouts. I will buy these in every color when they are back in stock!

These runners fit like a glove! They aren’t too cushion-y but still give great support. The impact while running felt good on my knees and they will be my new go to pair of runners, thanks Lulu 🙂

I bought two pairs in triple white, sz7 and sz7.5. Both pairs are not completely white, both have tinge of pink on the plastic glued on sides. Around the rims of the shoes has a tinge of pink as well. The fabric of shoes are true white. Feet gets sweaty after a couple hours. So if you are looking for a complete white pair, these are not it. Find it a bit misleading. Employee at Lululemon said these weren’t aren’t suppose to be pink at all. True to size or size up if if in between or wider feet.

I was nervous about ordering online as my feet range between size 9-10. My true to size is 9.5, which is what I went with. They fit PERFECTLY! Its almost like they were made for my feet. I have wide flat feet and a narrow heel, most shoes are either tight across the front or loose on the heel and slip off, not these!! They fit like a glove! And the bounce! Its like walking on wee springs! Got triple white and they are beautiful! My lululemon outfits are complete!
